    So apparently LEGO didn't want the sets to be revealed this early, and they've taken down everything that reported on them...

    So it turns out that the Monkey King Series 19 CMF was indeed a tease for this line... The Monkey King that comes with the Monkey King Mech and and the CMF Monkey King are nearly the same.

    Couldn't they have just changed up Ninjago to be more Chinese-inspired though? I don't think that would have been that hard to do.

    Although the theme seems to rely a bit too much on vehicles (much like Ninjago, Chima and NK) I still really like it. The Monkey King mech is definitely the stand out, and the one I'm the most interested in.

    I don't know if that's exactly the case. Unlike Alien Conquest, Galaxy Squad did manage to get a second wave, so I think it's safe to say that it sold better than Alien Conquest. And to be honest, I think Star Wars returning to the big screen with the sequel trilogy is what truly killed In-House Space, not Galaxy Squad.

    I still really hope we get Lady E as a minifigure in the upcoming Castle set.

    Though I wouldn't completely rule out this hypothesis, it seems very unlikely. As @Fenghuang0296 pointed out, LEGO themes don't come out of thin air, and usually takes around 2-3 years for an in-house theme to be made. I personally am pretty convinced that the white women minifig is from Monkey Kid, being most likely one of the demon villains.

    A Bionicle fan game has been in secretly in development for the last 6 years, and now, it's finally been revealed. It's going to be a free PC game that everyone who has a computer good enough to support the game will be able to play, and while it will mostly be a singleplayer game, you will also be able to play it as an Online RPG with up to 6 players. I am personally really excited for this fan game, and I can't wait for it to come out! What are your thoughts?

    Well, the Jungle Exploration subtheme from a few years back was more or less Adventurers as a City Subtheme, even though it didn't have any named characters.

    Uh... Does Nexo Knights have a dedicated fan base? I personally never heard of any such fan base.

    Great MOC! It's great to see a builder that usually builds with System try Bionicle out! I love how you made both the creature and the tree!

    I improved the build for the hair and the tail, and also added a Star-Fish in the hair.

    I think this pretty much confirms that Monkey Kid will indeed be a Sci-Fi theme.

    Technically speaking, LEGO made the Krusty Krab as a set twice (in 2006 and 2009). So it being somewhat of an attempt at bringing back a retired set might go against the LEGO Ideas rules. But then again, it's a very bankable set, and LEGO loves money as much as Mr. Krabs does...

    Very good points... The picture has just gotten more clear. LEGO really needs to improve upon their marketing strategy for their original themes going forward, otherwise everything they will release will just end up failing or underperformig.

    It's interesting how the Monkey Kid has the theme's logo (which we've seen from that trademark application) printed on its back. I assume this is probably the standard version of Monkey Kid which will likely come in the Monkey Kid's Delivery Motorcycle set.

    People have speculated that the guy can perhaps shape-shift like Akita from Ninjago.

    The white female minifigure looks interesting... I'm pretty sure she's supposed to be one of the demon villains. Also, the hair piece it uses looks like it would be quite useful.

    In a recent article on Featured Set of the Day on Brickset about the Mill Village Raid set, the user Roebuck talked about something known as "Designer Coins". I never knew those "Designer Coins" even existed before reading that article, so I thought about making a discussion topic here in order to learn more about them. Does anyone have any extra info regarding how those "Designer Coins" work? If nothing costs more than making a new mold, then why is seeing discontinued parts return happening so rarely?

    I highly doubt LEGO does that with kids. LEGO Ideas has always been mostly aimed at AFOLs.

    I really like how you managed to make it perfect in scale with the official Bionicle minifigures!

    That's the thing... The more the theme keeps going, the more likely it becomes to get a very unsatisfying ending. And with the story's current status, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what will end up happening. In my opinion, instead of just continuing to go nowhere, they should start building up towards the story's ending now, so they can still have it end on a high note whenever the time comes for the theme to end.
