  1. This is just a glorious example of function and form. I love the wheels on this one, gives a much sturdier and more heavy-duty look than the normal tires. On this: Can the outriggers really lift this thing up? I'd swap the connectors in the kinematics for 1x4 halfbeam liftarms as older ones tend to slip out easily. Great job :-)
  2. Thanks guys :-) Is there a more compact solution for a 4-way gearbox? Each red gear has to be activated independetely.
  3. A few news on this model: Boom is finished and working really well (need few yellow panels before showing real pics). The upper body really gives me headaches. I reworked it again and again. I combined the boom extension and crane hook mechanism via a two way gearbox, Now I am really thinking of combining all 4 functions (boom extension, boom lifting, hook lifting and outriggers into a 4 way gearbox, activated just by the LBG lever on the right side... what do you guys think?
  4. @LoMaC Your builts really have a nice flow and look just so consistent. As many said, this really is more like an official model. It's hard to replicate a real vehicle in that scale, even harder to do with the limited parts. It's really funny you had to use the flex axle for the stiffening bars at the backend of the rollcage :D
  5. Lego announced an event on June 26th . As Lego Technic will also be one centered theme, hopefully we'll get more info on new sets. Also the Sian has been published as the life size lego version according to Promobricks Aside from that: Why hadn't the 42126 IP vehicle and the 42131 CAT Dozer be mentioned anywhere in the leaked 2H 2021 catalog? Isn't this meant to represent all models from June to December? And 42127 and 42130 are completely missing...
  6. Nearly all axles and pins are also from the studded era :-P
  7. This already is one of my favorite TC20 models so far, looks really good. I think the built bucket doesn't really fit here. The newer black one on the other hand is too small. But there is an older 14 stud wide bucket available on bricklink, which I also used for my Liebherr L518 wheeled loader MOC. Not the newest one, though (1988 - 1990).
  8. The fact that this is a B-model is just mindblown. Great work! I didn't catch it in the text, how many parts are leftover from the A-Model?
  9. I just watched a video of a youtuber, and in his pic at 1:45 you can see small gaps. It looks like these are just stacked 2 stud liftarms or 2x4 L-shaped liftarms.
  10. Really no clue, can't think of anything in the current technic lineup... Please let it be a new pressure tank!
  11. I use https://imgbb.com/
  12. Also, where are the rear shock absorbers? Please TLG, no rear stiff axle....
  13. Just saw the pics... as the rear axle/diff is covered by a panel the ground clearance of the rear axle is like 2 or max 3 studs? Is this a joke? We are talking about a Trial Truck here...
  14. Or downloaded the pdf of the catalog..? @JimIf it's official, we should be able to publically post it here, right?
  15. Thanks! That was also my first plan, but the outriggers are so close next to each other and need some space for unfolding that the HOG on the backside would have been moved outwards 3 studs, which really looks silly. So it will be on top of the cabin as a warning light.
  16. I only see the Lego logo and "According to the publication term, this flipbook is not active"
  17. Very cool B-model! Had anybody already tried to do a scraper as a B/C-model? ;-)
  18. Thanx guys :-) I already thought about it, but I'd like to add a technic minifigure and for that, the seat puts it in an awkward position as the head is tiltet downwards :D I usually just upload them (any upload platform will do) and just copy&paste the direct link (ending with .jpg .png or any other graphic format) into my posts, which generates the pic automatically.
  19. Thanks guys :-) A little update: Tractor is nearly finished, have to order some special parts in blue now. The contailer is also finished. I gave up on the idea of making the boom lifting via a gear rack and some liftarm mechanic to make it visually more like the real thing. This really is too stressful for the wormgears. Now I am going the normal way of using an linear actuator instead.
  20. Hmm these are exaclty the same parts and prices mentioned by StoneWars 5 months ago....Lego really is closefisted with information this year. :-/ At least some teasers would be nice...
  21. Purely simplistic and so well executed :-) What a great little Telehandler!
  22. Looks good so far! If there is really trouble in the diff section, you can always use the old one, which should fit without any problems. Also for the wheels: We need the new tractor wheels in 81.6 mm! :D
  23. Thats very hard to say. I think everybody interprets the given task in a different way and find a unique solution. The voting will go to the most loved and creative models, so I don't see why somebody shouldnt be allowed to do it in this way.
  24. Nice idea! Can you please link to bigger pics? It's hard to see details in this solution ;-)
