  1. Then the price is just a joke. I surely pass. I wonder if the designer had trouble getting in a second hub. The hood has a width of 11 studs on the front but should taper to about 7 studs on the cabin.
  2. Great potential :-) I really like the idea to make a model just as big as it has to be, not a fan of this build where trucks have the 107 tires and are just an empty shell. Also, this would make a great contest: Shrink down an older model to at least 1/2 of the original size ;-)
  3. I am really unsure, if there is that much fee for the license. The Arocs retail price was 200€ for 2800 pieces. The Volvo 250€ for 2200 pieces and control+. How sure are you about the 1 Hub and only 4 Motors?
  4. I don't know what the 42130 will be, but the price (99$) and the nametag [IP-vehicle] of the 42127 pointed to another vehicle from the F&F-Universe, maybe a japanese supercar like the green Supra as a companion for the 42111 Charger. If F&F9 maybe dropped such a vehicle Lego already designed, then they won't release it this way. If I remembered correctly, a few years ago TLG also published a StarWars model which has been cut out in the final cut of a StarWars spinoff (Solo?).
  5. For me, it looks like the blade tilting/pitching linear actuators are driven by the angular motor, placed upright (cable on top, LBG part with axle hole down) behind the upper wheel:
  6. Just one of the prototypes. As already stated in some interviews from TLG technic designers, they try out different scales before settling on the final build and then start improving. Also TLG got sick of the copycats, therefor if a pic is leaked 1 year before release it's highly likely not the final form of the model, see also the 6x6 Zetros.
  7. Hmm are you sure? I mean if the pitch/tilt-cylinders are connected in that manner to allow rotation in 2 axles, they only have to be indipendently actuated to enable tilt (e.g. right retracts, left extend) or am I wrong?
  8. Completely missed this in the first view O_o The commentator mentions the functions at 2:05: - indipendent track movement - ripper movement up and down, left and right - front blade movement up and down, tipping forward and backward - ladder movement Definetly needs 2 hubs for this functions. 7 motors, if I did count right
  9. Are there new liftarms on the fornt blade with a different angle? But this thing is surely a little bit bigger than in the first leaked pics xD
  10. This could have been an official model, if you'd ask me, great work with minimal number of pieces used :-)
  11. Great MOC! Form and function perfectly combined :-) I loved that you gave insights in your building process and also mentioned problems. This truly highlights that you keep working and perfecting your building technique ;-) I got the same problem on a MOC I am currently working on right now. The turntable is a tad too little for these machines, but solution with the big tables in the 42082 and 42100 are just to big here. As the arms are quite fast, I would definitely do this.Would the tapered 11 x 5 panel work?
  12. Hmm I think for the 43.2 rims, there is not enough space to get an offset with these steering hubs.
  13. Or a part like this: There are other solutions like the one from the @suffocation mentioned, but not really and elegant one.
  14. Thanks for the nice review! But I am not sure about how to get a 4WD into this size without losing the indipendent front suspension (upper pic). You need at least a 2 stud wider axle for this (lower pic).
  15. Would be a nice alternative to usual excavators. For a long time, Lego avoided such machines, also something like a trash compacter or cement truck. But as these have been released already, I am pretty sure such a thing could be a nice model with 500 ... 1000 parts :-) I think for the next 3 years TLC don't want to rival the 42100, but I'll definately want one :D
  16. 8: 10 22: 6 1: 4 27: 3 36: 2 3: 1 Wish I could give more points, so many great entries!
  17. Completely forgot to comment here: What a fabulous beast, and even more so as a B/C-Model! To make a swash-plate with such limited parts is outstanding achievement. I wish there would be more plates to cover the tail a little more.
  18. Really nice pick for the new 81 tractor tires! In general, I am really curious which agricultural builds will be done with the newer tires and the multiple combination ;-)
  19. Really nice studless remake! BUT: Where are the side mirrors? :D
  20. I normally don't comment on cars, but this one has been one of my childhood dream cars :-) The overall shape is really good in this scale, and I love the fact you really cared about hiding blue pins on the outside as much as possible ;-) But I think you missed some really important design features which made this car unique and recognisable: - The air intake on the door is way bigger, maybe you should turn the 3x11 panel and angle it inwards on the rear side of the door - The black panel on the rear end is curved, but in reality, this part is flat, maybe change it to a 3x11 panel? - In the real car, a horizontal line is running sideways over the whole length of a car. This should be a main goal to replicate to really catch the look, especially on the front. I know how limited the parts and panels are.. xD I know that there are way more capable MOCers here than me, which are proficient in cars and I don't want to nitpick here, but these three things are really important in my opinion. Again, great work ;-)
  21. As right now, the "TYRE TRUCK, NARROW, DIA. 49.5X14" can be ordered for 1.88 € via B&P at Lego, has anybody already tried to do twin tire configuration at the rear axles? ;-)
  22. Glad you like it :-) The soft axles felt too flimsy here. I even tried horizontal bars and axle but this looked like a cage and not a cabin...
