  1. Cool and genuine built, I like it :-) But what happened to the arm in the first pic? Some pins are missing as it bends in such an strange way?
  2. What a ambitious project, thanks for sharing the building process with us :-) For the axle extension problem: Did you think about using two motors (one for each wheel)? So the motor just moves with the wheel...? As a non-puristic solution I suggest just using 20 bevel gears or 24 gear as somehow they seem to float rather easily on axles in contrast to other gears. I have 2 used ones in my collection that allow movement with nearly no friction...
  3. This is really something unexpected as a B-model, great work! Nice to see the fender extender parts used in this manner :-)
  4. I don't expect the formula 1 car with 1431 pieces for 179€ to have any kind of electronics (and any functions apart from the obvious ones). For the electric components: What about the dumb battery box? The 42128 showed that pneumatic's not dead, so maybe something big with motor driven pneumatics? :-)
  5. Articulated steering ;-) The pivot point is just behind the cabin, therefor it looks like only the rear wheels are angled.
  6. I like it, even for this scale, it's kind of simplistic. I had wished for a taller trailer for grass, this little one seems kind of odd here, don't know why. A great addition is the green technic 5x7 rack, now I can use this in my green little bulldog tractor :D Can't think of other function than just steering and tipping of the trailer? I don't think they fitted a fake engine in, but it would be a nice surprise! In reality, it would be a inline 6.
  7. Surely no, the 3x5 liftarm in teal seems to connect to the wheels on the rear axle.
  8. Yeah, now I think so, too. In the lower right pic, you see the back axles both tilted to one side, ruling out my intended mechanism. Maybe normal soft shocks are used, just mounted low on the axle to make space for the dump bed.
  9. You mean just a black silhouette? Hmm I think from the leaked catalogue pics, we've seen all the pages ...
  10. I don't think so. The dump tipper is activated by the LBG lever with the red 2L pin connector (lower middle pic). Maybe you can free the winch ratched mechanism?
  11. I tinkered around yesterday and found a rather easy but sturdy solution with a self-limiting travel of about 3 studs on the wheels.. and I discovered I ran out of diffs.... :D
  12. I mean like a bogie type, don't know the exact term. @Superkoala used this for a mod for the 42114, just no attachments at the bogie levers but the chassis.
  13. This is the first 2022 set I'd avtually concerning to buy. Looks good, has nice tires and more functions than all the sets from the januar wave combined :D Maybe the go with a twin pendular?
  14. Looks great overall, but with the smaller tires, the bucket looks massive :D Just for light stuff :-P
  15. This would have been a very clever way for the Mustang and E-Porsche, never thought about this solution :-)
  16. What a massive built so far! With this size, 3 hubs and 11 motors you will end up with at least 4 kg... Did you manage to make this happen? Really nice addition!
  17. Nice idea! I'd really like to see the transformation action here :-)
  18. Actually, I am not convinced by this. Not the looks (2 A4 sticker sheets), nor the technic (no 6 speed gearbox) or the stability. The only good thing in my opinion is the rewarding building experience, which actually is a really nice idea.
  19. Looks and function can go together very well, but in this case not so much. We see that Lego can't replicate such a complex shaped template even in 1:5, worst part are the front spoilers and the front fender. Even the lights look like a tinkered solution. Also: The new parts are not so exciting imho. I'd rather have newer clutch gears or a mikro PU-motor suitable for engaging the bigger linear actuators. Especially the windshield ist a unique part for just this set. The strange angle of the pin holes makes it nearly unusable for other models coming from TLG.
  20. I doubt it can't get any minimalistic than that, well done! :D
  21. The hoses in pneumatic sets are usually longer then they need to be, just to rule out any tensions stress and a resulting disconnection from the valves. As they are very flexible, no need to worry here. This bulge you referring to will just flex inwards when you assemble the cabin :-)
  22. There have to be multiple new parts: Wheels and tires, break calipers, shock absorbers, ...
  23. They were already available in DBG from this City set: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=76174-1#T=S&O={"iconly":0}
