  1. Looks better now Could you use the 5x11 tapered panel for the side of the bed? Looks imho better than the stacked liftarms :-)
  2. Really cool model! With a few more details, this could have been a runner-up for TC19 :D Only suggestion is to use narrower wheeln on the front an maybe set the rear ones a stud into the chassis :-)
  3. What a great job! The excavator is in my top 3 entries, the new red panel is sooo fitting here! The only thing that I would change is the tread to the rubber ones:
  4. Liebherr can make a claim as the original crane is their property. Anybody making money with their brand would be in trouble. Mould King just names it "LR 13000", so there is no real copyright infringement. As said, Lego will be way closer to the real LR13000 than this MOC/MK-model. Also with the new elements, it would be way more stable in my opinion.
  5. Is it the chassis of the 42121, just turned upside down? :D
  6. Nice progress so far! I am not a fan of that much system bricks, but it surely looks good :-) Does the friction-drive work well?
  7. It's a shame Lego ideas nearly exclusively use sets which doesn't fit in any current Lego category. This forum here would be a way better source for technic models :D
  8. Great model This is another example of a model which could easily make it in the official Lego line-up, although they'd use panels and stickers on the rear bumper :D
  9. Hmm there is not enough space for an outer casing. Also: Using 28 tooth gears put even more torque on one axle. I'd rather gear it down later ;-)
  10. @Hrafn @Jurss : Thanks guys! I always had the feeling the knob gears are for such heavy duty work :D
  11. Looks really good! Where do you actuate the change of the track width? On the bucket you could also use the newer liftarm, but there is no stability issue here :D
  12. Hi guys, just a question for the builders with more experience than me in the field of electric components: What pairing of the motors is better? Green or yellow and why? I'd say less components so it should be yellow, but then, on the green variant, the main axle could be supported in a better way...
  13. This is so cool that you implemented that thing! :-)
  14. The new panel on the excavator looks great! :-) Is the boom in the original model also centered? Maybe the space for the cab will be quite narrow :-/
  15. @Technic tango The steering rod should be place in the middle position, where the joint is placed. Otherwise, the suspension will actuate the steering.
  16. 1. Small Dozer Functions: 3 cylinder fake engine with diff 6-way blade (angling, tilting, raising) with inside mounted push frame, small LAs for raising/lowering raising/lowering of rear ripper pendular suspension Dimensions: W x L x H: 17 x 27 x 16 = 7344 cubic studs
  17. Just add three 8 tooth gears in between:
  18. Had finally some time to assamble the final version. @Jurss I tried different configurations, but in the end nohing looked that good to me, especially next to the exhaust. Maybe I will shoot again tomorrow, had bad light today, so some pics are rather dark.
  19. Hmm but if there are to tight, they also don't roll....? Better a little loose, but at least they roll?
  20. What a beauty The new tractor wheels add so much more flavor to it. One of my favorite entries so far, great job!
  21. What a cool project, I am glad I could somehow trigger this a little bit :-) But I agree with @Nazgarot, the tracks seem to big here, have you tried the 3L ones or the rubber tread?
  22. Hadn't thought about that! I could even use the axle ones by replacing the 2L axle/pin liftarm with two halfbeam liftarms with axle holes to give better stability. I'll try that later, thanks :-)
