  1. ^That, or the Quinjet. I just ordered the Quinjet for just over $37 shipped!!
  2. That's considered a spoiler? Seriously? I completely agree. Not only does the show surpass all previous incarnations of the Turtles in a lot of respects, but the way it pays homage to them is great and very respectfully done.
  3. Not for you, perhaps. I bought the Frodo set in a heartbeat (and will do the same with the Gandalf set) simply because I'm a big fan polybag sets, redundant minifigs or not. Besides, $3.99 is a pretty negligible amount for a Lego fix.
  4. That is disappointing. It doesn't sound like it's Lego's intention to correct the mistake at all, leaving everyone stuck with an inaccurate minifig.
  5. Man, I would love for Lego to actually produce some of the playable characters from the game as actual minifigures. I'm drooling over that Gondorian armor piece on Faramir.
  6. So.....you really saved $25, not $55. I would hardly count the lifting of the TRU tax as "saving".
  7. Lego really seems to have a thing for Hoth, don't they? This will be the 7th Hoth-related set in about 3 years, if I recall correctly. I'm definitely excited for it, but at the same time I wish Lego would throw us a bone and release some playsets from other iconic locations (i.e., Tatooine).
  8. Why not wait another month until the sets actually come out? You'll be assured that they're 100% original and probably end up paying a lot less...
  9. Um, yeah.......Lego....
  10. Splinter looks fantastic to me!
  11. What?! That's ridiculous....and it makes very little sense, because Thror's map in the Hobbit game is printed.
  12. Yes, my thoughts exactly. The height of the minifig just looks ridiculous, IMO...
  13. I can't figure out why Lego went with a short cape on these. It seems like a last-minute change as well, since all of the preliminary and package images show him with the long version.
  14. The 'Barrel Escape' set is a TRU exclusive.
  15. Why not? They could easily pull off a Metalhead minifig using the short minifig legs.
  16. I picked one up over the weekend as well. Glad that it's finally available here in the states, as it's a pretty cool little build.
  17. I ordered 9499 Gungan Sub for $41.99, a cool 40% off. There was no resisting at that price!
  18. If price is a concern, why not wait until the sets are actually released to ge the minifigs...?
  19. I'm really happy with how all the sets turned out! The Sewer Lair set is still my favorite of the bunch by far. I love the 'slime' detail!
  20. I'm not sure about this list at all. Why only four sets?? And I thought we were getting Orthanc next summer. Smells fishy to me.
  21. Awesome!!! I'm really impressed with all of the sets, and very happy that we're getting an April minifig. From the look of things, the Shellraiser is the largest set - and wasn't it confirmd as MSRP $60? Look like this theme will be a lot more affordable than I thought.
  22. ^^That is a seriously awesome-looking location. I really hope Lego attempts a set.
  23. I'm hoping that all of the maps are printed; Thror's map that came with The Hobbit game was printed, so I imagine the three in Bag End will be as well.
  24. I would love it if those three sets are part of the wave! I remain skeptical until official confirmation, however.
  25. I'm not sure you guys understand the terms of the Disney acquisition, at least as far as Lego is concerned. This will most likely have little to no effect on the current Star Wars licensees, much less any upcoming waves of Lego sets. The quote from Lucasfilm is that they are continuing with "business as usual".
