    I do prefer the regular bricks, but I think the grey and tan kind of clash - I'll probably modify mine with earth blue or sand yellow bricks. I really don't think tiles are necessary. But then, I'm clearly a bit of a traditionalist and prefer studs to be exposed to make it instantly recognizable as LEGO.

    I much prefer the head piece Black Panther has now. For one thing, a full-face cowl would look way too bulky, and I also appreciate the adaptability of the current piece - we've already seen White Tiger will use it, and I have a sneaking suspicion it could make for a good Daredevil if turned around.

    There's a new blog post up on Ideas - it's just a brief one welcoming new Community Specialist Hasan Jensen to the team, but this bit is potentially noteworthy: Seems possible there could be a reveal or announcement there.

    Is there a new hairpiece on the woman in the dark blue suit in Fun in the Park? I assumed it was the ubiquitous ponytail piece but it seems slightly different in that video.

    One possible reason for the production time (which is actually shorter than most standard sets but seems longer since we're aware of it from the very beginning) is that this is easily the most functional Ideas set yet. There would have to be a lot of testing and refining to ensure the mechanisms work smoothly and that the maze itself proved challenging but not impossible.

    Doesn't look like it's been mentioned here yet, but Rogue One's official "Force Friday" has been announced - September 30th.

    It looks almost identical to the original submission, so don't worry, you're not missing out on much. I'm personally much more excited to see a video, since this is more about function than appearance.

    I suppose $40 isn't too bad... still comes out to less than three bucks per figure, not even counting the actual brick-built stuff. I'm definitely getting it, probably even getting two.

    It'll probably show up as a promo at LEGO Stores before too long, so you can just... chill out. ...I'll see myself out.

    I suspect it will be black. Or very, very dark grey.

    What do you mean "taking too long"? Series 15 just hit (North American) shelves two weeks ago. The Simpsons series that came out at the same time last year as these will be this year was revealed mid-March. It's not like this is an unprecedented wait.

    Eh, people have been panicking about the "last regular series" for two years now. I doubt it.

    The Parisian Restaurant and Detective's Office were both rumored as far back as July of the previous year, but it wasn't until late September of last year that news of a bank surfaced. So you can probably expect to wait at least another four or five months, most likely longer, before hearing anything reliable for 2017.

    I like that look. I hope they go with something along those lines, though I have to wonder just how similar he'll end up looking to the Doctor Strange minifig that will come out around the same time...

    Are you hinting or just hoping here?

    I wouldn't expect two different Mickey figures in the same series. If they wanted to do a second version of Mickey, they'd probably reserve him for a second series like with the alternate versions of Simpsons characters.
