...Hoo boy. This really depends on how you count a variation. For instance, would you consider the version from Arkham Asylum Breakout different from the one in Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase? The suits are identical, but the former has a wing piece and the latter has a cape. I personally don't consider them to really be different variants, but most other databases seem to. There are also a few different figures that only feature minor tweaks to the New 52 design - the Dimensions Batman has the older style cowl, the one in Black Manta Deep Sea Strike has the same scuba head as in the Penguin Face Off, and the one in Jokerland has dual-molded legs, but they're all pretty much that same New 52 suit.

I'd personally like to see Jake as the brick-built "vehicle" in a level pack to make it a more literal manifestation of his shape-shifting powers, but I suppose popular demand will be for a minifig form.
-
My inclination would be not to count it as a voice actor at all unless the set/minifig is explicitly based on a certain show or film. I'd consider most Batman minifigs to be based on comic books, therefore they have no voice actor. This is where it gets weird, though - that means the Batman in Super Secret Police Dropship counts as a Will Arnett figure, but the one in Man-Bat Attack doesn't, even though they're identical.

The Fire Station has the new twisty fire pole (and accompanying minifig handle) also seen in the Ghostbusters headquarters and Batcave. Crooks Island and the Fire Response Unit also both feature a new 1x6x5 wall panel with indentations.

I think maybe Agent 13 is flying the Quinjet? Or else that's a clone of Bucky. aaand didn't notice those last two posts. -
Top sellers on the S@H website are listed in terms of quantity, though, whereas the annual reports focus on revenue.

Thanks for the review! I love that jet - it is going to be a tough week of resisting the Civil War sets long enough to get double points on 'em... -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

There has been talk - I don't know how credible - of a Civil War polybag along the same lines as the 5002145 Rocket Raccoon or 5003084 Hulk polybags. It probably wouldn't turn up until fall though. -

No. It's a retailer exclusive and I'm pretty sure it's slated for August. -

I personally think Buzz looks way better with a regular head. Hands-down favorite has to be Maleficent though.- 4,155 replies

There aren't any pictures of it, but 40220 London Bus is now listed on Brickset. Quite possibly a GWP that will coincide with 10253.

Maybe if people just post a whole bunch of rampant speculation, some of it will turn out to be true? A broken clock is right twice a day, after all.

Yes, we're aware... but I'm not even certain that "Big Ben" is even the official name of the set, so no point in correcting it until we know.

Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
tafkatb replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Same here! I spent the past year and a half looking at the first one and thinking, "Eh, maybe," but I was never enthusiastic enough about it to go for it. The new one's a definite purchase for me though. -
AFOLs are so dumb nowadays. You can't give them a functioning blaster and expect them to use their imagination and pretend it looks different. They need it to look exactly like the prop from some made-up fantasy spaceman movie, even though it doesn't do anything.
-
If we're just talking "controversial," regardless of whether the controversy was warranted (spoiler alert: it wasn't), then you could discuss the Sandcrawler, Tumbler, Helicarrier, and Firehouse Headquarters, all of which provoked complaints that TLG "stole" them from Ideas submissions that did not pass review. Of course, the whole reason they didn't pass was because the sets were already in the pipeline, but some people just prefer a conspiracy theory.
-
Isn't "whiny AFOL" redundant though? I do fully expect some very ridiculous Batman variants with the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie, and now I genuinely want to see a Batmowbile.

Well, I wouldn't say it does nothing... it actually does accelerate a particle. But the Maze, which is by the same creator and actually passed review, does a better job executing the general concept of Doing a Thing With a Ball. That came out wrong. (Or did it?)

Oh, are you not a fan? Gee, I hadn't heard.

I have come to the conclusion that leg printing is the single most overrated feature of LEGO minifigures. Try as I might, I just can't seem to get upset when a minifig with solid color legs has the audacity to exist.

I am heavily biased in favor of anything with lots of food pieces, so my vote is naturally for the Supermarket. Plus, Friends tends to have a higher turnover rate than Elves, so it's more likely to be hard to find later in the year if you wait.
