  1. The Iron Man in the Airport Battle is basically just one accessory of a big set, where the focus is on the build. This one is essentially its own set, so one single figure can eat up all the focus. And let's be honest, if the Mark 46 had all this over-the-top printing, everyone would just complain about how TLG is "forcing" them to pay $80 to get it.
  2. What I'd really like to see is an official reveal on January 12th, the 50th anniversary of the premiere of the show, but I doubt they'd really take that into consideration.
  3. I'm going with the theory that these figures are from Earth-42 of the Multiverse.
  4. Crossbones' Hazard Heist is recommended for 62-year-olds, apparently. Guess I'll have to wait a few decades to pick that one up.
  5. Oh my gosh, I just noticed the trophies in these sets - what an adorably clever little build!
  6. I was wondering that myself; I can only conclude it's an entirely new part, maybe 3 bricks tall?
  7. The only "given" for the fourth set is Spider-Man.
  8. There's a rather sinister-looking castle in the background - sneak peek at a villain set for the summer wave?
  9. Why doesn't every Malibu Stacy doll come with a new hat?!
  10. Nah, I'm pretty sure that's just the lines on his mask.
  11. Yup, I'll be getting all of these. Though a T'Challa face would've been nice, I really like the new piece for Black Panther; does a good job of creating the right profile where a full-face mask would have looked too clunky. This piece also leaves the head stud open so that a ponytail piece could be plugged in to make White Tiger. I'm pretty sure the cockpit on Black Panther's jet is a new piece as well, and yep, that's the new Superman hair in Medium Nougat on Steve. Crossbones' Hazard Heist is $20.
  12. Two new pieces for Iron Man - the main helmet and the faceplate. Since Deathstroke, Captain America, and Crossbones have pretty form-fitting helmets that don't need that opening functionality, I'm personally fine with them just having printed heads.
  13. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Sky High Battle is actually supposed to be $60, so snap it up while you can if you see it for $50.
  14. You're betting, eh? How much are you betting?
  15. The '66 Batcave is happening; Mr. Batfleck was just wishing for a BvS one.
  16. You mean Agent 13, right? As much as I like Hawkeye's new outfit, I'd rather get a brand new character than just a new variant of someone we've already gotten in multiple sets. And who says we're not getting War Machine?
  17. I wonder if the flags on Tiger Widow Island are intentionally evoking the '94 Islanders theme, because that was definitely my first thought. ETA: Looking at it closely, there's no way that's not intentional.
  18. Flying suit or no, you can't tell me you wouldn't also want a flying car if you could have one. Maybe Iron Man needs it for cargo purposes? Maybe Iron Man is on his way to the grocery store and he needs to get more stuff than he can carry in one trip with just his suit, so he has to take the flying car? Whatever, man, I don't know Iron Man's life. Dick move on Loki's part, though, waylaying the poor guy while he's just trying to get some groceries.
  19. Barnes & Noble is showing a publication date of April 5th, 2016.
  20. UCS sets take considerably longer to produce, and the designers only got to work from very rudimentary concept art to begin with. I'm sure there will be UCS sets based on TFA eventually, but they'd probably rather take the time to get them right.
  21. Didn't someone already say it's a UCS Snowspeeder?
  22. Well, that pushes me a little further toward believing this list. And if there really is a D2C to coincide with this series, I wonder if maybe Goofy will be included as an exclusive like Snake was for the Kwik-E-Mart.
  23. Well, it certainly seems just weird enough to be plausible. When did we first get a list for the Simpsons series?
  24. I think the Batarang is a piece that we usually get extras of. So if there's one, there's two.
