  1. I found this link that shows some chemistry of Lego. Claims Lego are built to with stand the cold temperatures and even a high melting temperature. Never melted any Lego's before but it toxic!!! In fact, according to Fatherly editorial director Micah Abrams, "a single Lego can bear up to 4,240 Newtons of force, or weights in excess of 953 pounds, before it starts to deform." https://jameskennedymonash.wordpress.com/2014/07/15/how-are-lego-bricks-made-the-chemistry-of-lego/
  2. WIP Ver 1.9 chassis Fire tanker/Rescue Based off from the 42068 chassis!!! 1 XL Lego pf motor (default) 2 x XL is recommend. ( im not getting good results from 2 x L motors!!) output 1: 1.66 for 1 Xl motor , 1:2 for 2 XL motor Lego 40th anniversary chassis McPherson Suspension on 2 axles (How could I ignored Lego best chassis!!) Lego 42068 based steering (yup, I kept it) Various derivatives will follow in the future My very first technic set was the Lego set 8847 and a small tribute to dragify a fire truck!! Coming soon I hit the cat by accident
  3. Panther 6x6 Dragster I finally got my favorite Lego set 42068 with suspension and Hydro operations coming soon !!!
  4. I'm also going to make a Dragster!!! hummmmm I hope this will work, its in WIP in the moment and only 1 XL motor!!!
  5. wow!! that is bad megablocks!!! and what is it?? metallic blue parts look great!!
  6. @Permo Part 88003 Large motor!! :) Looks odd in its packaging, lol!! https://www.lego.com/en-us/powerfunctions/products/l-motor-88003
  7. Today was a good day!!! Lego Pneumatic and Actuators was shipped today, I can play with the big boys!!! I even seen an all red differential set and all this was under $50 usd!! I even got a sticker from Lego.com!!! has anyone collected all the stickers??
  8. I believe color of bushings, lift arms and axles have different properties since the weight of the same part but different color does weight differently
  9. 2 Xl motors and a servo is the best for one battery pack and some weight saving optimizations and a 1:1.66 output (postitraction diff) is great for medium scale models
  10. @efferman Im curious also on the front end.. is there suspension on the front axle? i can see the rear axles do.
  11. Today, Im introducing ver 4.0 chassis. I will always go back to an older chassis version if need to, I ended up liking this build and it falls in under my chassis wip... This chassis based off from Lego Technic 40th anniversary chassis 8860!! I use to have this set when I was a child back in 1983 and I remember my parents paid $250 dollars for it!!! prices sure haven't changed since then and last year 2017 Lego release the 40th anniversary chassis based from the original 8860 set and I have managed to build the chassis and a few mods i was able to create. well here is ver 4.0 chassis and a list of mods I added to it 4.0 chassis 4 wheel drive all time 2 way ackermann steering 4 wheel suspension, front perpendicular suspension and default generic rear McPherson suspension Flat 6 Rear engine and decorations with hoses and pipes and fan 1 link steering system (wow the default steering from the 40th anniversary model is simple and I believe one of the best to operate) 2 speed transmission with neutral ( simple axle slides with knob and 3 x 12t gears to fake engine) HOG on steering wheel!! 67.8 mm Lego tires Built with weighted bricks to ensure balance
  12. wow!! what a build!! i like the white interior, great job!!!
  13. I use to have this model when i was a child. do you have any videos or any more pictures??
  14. cool collection!!! it would be a nice gift pack!! great job!
  15. No PF devices?? It least youre using small gears for knobs. its to big for your hydrofoil?
  16. Dark gray is the heaviest of all technic colors!! what a big project you got going.. very interesting
  17. lots of functions in a little model. great job!!
  18. @Ankoku & @johnny1360 Thank you for your comments and even myself just started working with Lego just 4 months ago after a 20 year absent. All your feed back is important and together we can build anything!!! Here is a video of the steering and power
  19. @Jurss, Cool!! thank you!!! Ill look into it The suspension
  20. Version 3.3 Chassis Airport Rescue support truck This release based from 3.0 includes the following or changes Dually Rear end A-frame style front end suspension with Ackermann steering Posi-traction differentials The perpendicular suspension and steering on ver 3.2 chassis work good but using sliding rods to the steering rack get stuck when operating outdoors. Not apparent indoors, I needed my chassis to be used in all types of environment. I modified ver 3.0 a-frame style suspension and now I able to operate outdoors and not even using any links to support it. The video is the first test run and its just the suspension with the steering locked to observed my design before i make it permanent. It even beat Lego own design on the rear suspension and the only issue is that the rear wheels tend to pop off either from being a dually and its bulky with weight. The rear suspensions is based from the lego 42075 design and the front suspension is my design.. On the end of the video, the true victor emerges!! The video recording came out side ways so just till your head to view it!!
