  1. Not if it's part of a 'second wave', released later than the others.
  2. It is weirdly catchy. Way more than Cole's Glowworm song. XD
  3. Oh yeah? I'd certainly like to see your take on it. I'm thinking of installing a large staircase on the ground floor that attaches via the Technic pin holes on the second floor and can be removed in order to get at the pizzeria on the other side (since I'm putting it in my city on a corner).
  4. Bleh, films . . luckily, that applies to the books too. They could align the little white dots upwards, give her raised eyebrows and an open mouth in a sighing expression?
  5. Emily, Noctura and two bats in the one with the carriage and Lumia's wolf form, and Lumia in elf form, plus Azari and Naida, as well as two bats and the blue bear from The Goblin King's Evil Dragon in the big treehouse one. I can't tell which bats, but they're all pretty interchangeable. However, it's notable that one of the bats in the one with Emily and Noctura is all green, while all the rest are black with coloured wings and faces, so I think that might be significant.
  6. Pretty sure that kitsune is a girl . . . I mean, "Liska" sounds pretty feminine. Jealous. They still haven't even arrived down under.
  7. Got the S.O.G. Headquarters. I kind of get what's they were going for, but it doesn't work all that well, honestly . . I think I prefer to interpret it as part of a sort of motorbike derby arena, rather than a place specifically built for the Ninja to go all "Spinjitzu SMASH!". Now to get to adding things that make it more show accurate . . . what's the best way to MOC a pool table?
  8. All the more reason for JP to get as many sets as possible. After this wave, we probably won't see anything Dino-related until 2021, with Jurassic World 3. Harry Potter can get a D2C any time, but this is a unique opportunity.
  9. Do we have any leaks for how the Whomping Willow looks? Because that and the Fantastic Beasts sets are the only ones I'm interested in.
  10. Waste of paper in my opinion.
  11. Stupid Harry Potter. -.- So, what, they expect us to use Hogwarts Castle as the base for the Virus Vampires? . . Actually, that's kind of an interesting idea . .
  12. I somewhat agree. While it has to be said that the Modular Building system has potential, the big draw of the sets is supposed to be that you can combine them to make bigger houses. And yet out of the five so far (six counting the "Pastry House" that's coming in summer), not a single one looks anything like the others. Which means that the only way to combine them without it ending up looking like a ridiculous hodgepodge (which, in all honesty, has its appeal, but it's not the sort of thing that Inthink the majority are looking for) is to get multiples of the same set. And maybe combine the different 'builds' of a single set together. It's silly, and I hope that they go back to the much-preferable older style for 2019 and beyond. Of course, considering that the new "Build'N'Swap" system that the Disney line is using uses what's basically the same system, and I have no doubt that the prospect of combining sets from both lines appeals to both kids and producers, it's unlikely.
  13. Nice. Personally, I plan to have a modified version of the Ford Mustang that's less of a Fastback and more of a Classback (XD) parked in the upper-class district as some rich guy's personal cruiser. Also, did anyone note how two of those incredibly rare and useful 1x1 with horizontal bar attachment parts are included in the Ferrari Corsa? I'm going to contrive an excuse to get that just for the sake of those parts.
  14. So, do we have any confirmation as to if Harumi will be in at least one set in the Summer wave? Because I was looking at the prelim images again, and I noticed that, in the War Rig/Dieselnaut set, the figure in the very middle looks very much like Hutchins. This is important because I have every intention of getting the Summer stuff, but since S.O.G. Headquarters is there to function as, well, a Headquarters for the S.O.G., and I get the feeling that the Temple of Resurrection will stop being relevant after the S8 finale, plus Garmadon is definitely coming in the S9 wave, therefore the only reason I have to get the Temple of Resurrection is for the exclusive characters. And if they're not exclusive . . then I have no reason to drop $75 on a set that'll be redundant by July. Thoughts, everyone?
  15. For the people who think their Cities - or Lego City in general - needs more cars, have you considered looking in Speed Champions? Because while a lot of the cars over there are pretty obviously race cars, some, like the Turbo 3.0 in upcoming set 75888, or the, ahem, Ford Mustang Fastback of 75885, just need their fenders removed and stickers left off (and maybe a couple of other minor tweaks) to fit right in as ordinary cars in a city.
  16. "Swole"? Personally, I think Killow is wearing some kind of fat suit exoskeleton. Which is why his head is so disproportionately small.
  17. {snorts} "AI robot girl". It's that kind of attitude towards mechanical people that leads to things like Ninjago Movie-Zane. Which was the absolute worst thing in a movie that was fifty percent terrible things. But you have a point about the SOG. There has to be more to it. This season's writing has been too good for their motivation to be "We want Garmadon back because reasons,". Remember, we haven't even seen the last Mask yet.
  18. The problems with living in Australia . . . And thanks! (I've experimented a bit further and come up with a new torso, too - the one from CMF 16's Spy. All that you could see of the 'standard' one with the armour on was the gree stomach region, and he already has the big green power core in his chest, so it felt redundant. And when you put the Vermillion Armour on the Spy torso backwards, it covers everything except his utility belt. So it all looks great. :) Now I just need to MOC up a vehicle for him. I'm thinking some kind of 'Defrag Drill'; something that could bore a hole through the wall between the digital world and the real world and enable the Vampires to attack anywhere. Nice. Gotta give you props there. :) Persionally, I thought Monstrox' purple suit was somewhat tacky (why I've been making my Monstrox minifig Virus-ified), but that's just the source material, and your rendition is impressively accurate. ^^ (Also, word of advice; give the Rogul you took tne hood piece from with the purple ninja mask from Cole's Rock Roader. Trust me, it looks kickass.)
  19. Personally, I think that the most interesting thing about Lockwood Estate is something that no one has touched on yet; It's modular. Take another look at the pictures. Notice all the pin holes on the edges of the towers and the big brown wall parts? Why would those be there? None of the other sets have anything like that. And the pins are present on both floors of the tower. This says to me that the top and bottom floors of the tower can be separated and attached horizontally. Therefore, it stands to reason that the large brown walls can also be detached. I don't think the central, three-floor-tall part is likely to be separateable in the same manner - though it's not impossible that the top floor, with the bedroom, might be able to be taken off. So the set actually consists of seven, maybe eight, parts of the building that can be reconfigured as you wish to fit it into a city, or just for play. Wait, I just realised. The pen in Stygimoloch Breakout. We haven't seen any pictures of the back of it so we can't be, but the central part, with the glass screen, looks like it could, even if it isn't designed like this, be easily modified in order to attach to Lockwood Estate's components with the same system. This thing is so going into my village.
  20. It is modified. You can see the Boost colours built onto the dragon; it's a noticeable difference in the colour of the scales. While I am morbidly curious about what the Boost parts actually do, it is so not worth it when the end result looks so horrible.
  21. Eh. Identical hair to Pola? No other distinguishing traits beyond the sword (which is cool)? I'll just wait until the Twinfector goes on discount or clearance or something (as is inevitable), get a second one, and switch out the helmet and wig on Fred. More expensive, but better to pay $20-ish for a parts pack including two Vampires than $10-ish for a pile of paper with one.
  22. No. No no no no no that mockery of a mech is not going anywhere near my collection of dragons! Oh, thank goodness. I was worried there for a second. Makes me very happy that I still have Jay's lightning dragon from 2016.
  23. Uh . . . is there any confirmation for all, or even any of that? Because, as great as it would be for Harumi to be a dragon/phoenix hybrid or something, I can't see that as something they're likely to do, and since the series got something of a soft reboot, I'd be remarkably surprised if they revived a minor character from the pre-movie era of Ninjago like Chamille. Yes, I also noticed that I never the Throne Room confrontation, the blurry person in the middle has white hair like Harumi, but styled differently, in what I think is Ginny Weasley hair. Which means; either Harumi gets an appearance change to reflect her turning evil, if she actually does turn evil, or this person is related to her. Maybe her mother? (She was adopted, after all.) Or maybe it's just a coincidence. After all, if we always based familail connections on hair colour, we would have spent 2012 wondering if Zane was Lloyd's long-lost brother. And who the heck is Gayle Gossip . . wait, the reporter lady who got Dareth to hold her camera once way back in 2013? When did he ever propose to her, or show any interest at all? Besides, considering Morro died as a teenager, I somehow doubt he has an heir . . unless ghosts can get people pregnant. Can ghosts get people pregnant? . . . That is a question I could have lived my whole life without asking. Also, are you certain that Cliff Gordon actually is Jay's father? Because my takeaway from that whole event was that Nadakhan altered everyone's memory to make them think that he was, and that was undone when time was unwound. Of course, I could be wrong, but . . So, speculation is all good and well, but I think you're reading faaaar too much into this.
  24. I loved the new episode. Visuals are brilliant, so much love for Zane as a character (something that, after seeing him in the movie, I will never take for granted again) and . . Also I do hope they retrieved Zane's motorbike as well, and it was just off-camera, because the previous episode really seemed to imply that the Falcon's AI had been downloaded into the drone part of the bike, so it would really suck for it to be left behind . . .
