  1. That's what discounts are for! Besides, I'm in AUS, and Target is running a 20% off sale on all Lego until April 29. While I'm not naive enough to believe that they'll get the JW sets in on the launch date of April 16, I'm hopeful that they'll have them in by the end of the sale. Although, if Lockwood Estate gets a similar ridiculous price hike that the Sanctum Sanctorum did down under (In what world does 99 USD equal 169 AUD?) that'll be a turn-off . . .
  2. Glad to see that my guesses and oredictions as to the footprint of Lockwood Estate were correct. It'll fit my village perfectly. (This is gonna be so cool!)
  3. . . Nope. You're missing the point. My layout is (currently) a small village. It's not big enough for there to be two shops in the same chain. {snaps fingers} Restrooms! That's what my city needs . . but not directly adjacent to the Sanctum Sanctorum, or on the ground floor of an apartment building . . . How do you figure that? There's only one sticker, the one on the window, which I have not applied to mine and don't intend to. Other than that, food or retail is fine either way. I have been tossing up the idea of making it a costume shop - after all, with all the licensed properties and CMFs that exist in Lego, it won't be hard to find minifigure bodies to use as 'costumes'. Thoughts, anyone?
  4. No, that's just my fan theory . . . besides, have you got a better one?
  5. No, this is the sequence of events I posit; Oni and Dragon interbreed to create First Spinjitzu Master. First Spinjitzu Master goes off and creates Ninjago with the Tornado of Creation. Humans populate Ninjago as created by the First Spinjitzu Master. Some humans somehow find their way back to the First Realm. Finding themselves surrounded by both Oni and Dragons, they gravitate towards the Oni because they're more like humans. The humans, unable to return to Ninjago, interbreed with the Oni and pollute the Oni's gene pool, causing them to become more like humans. The end result is the Dragon Keepers, who are human/Oni hybrids. In this case, it would remain to be seen whether the Dragon Keepers are all that remains of the Oni, or if there's are still 'pure' Oni around.
  6. Definitely. After all, seeds are one of the most common items in Minecraft, I'm actually surprised it them this long. Though I'll admit I'm surprised they aren't green, which is strange .c.
  7. Okay, so I'm looking to integrate 76108 Battle for the Sanctum Sanctorum into my city. I'm sure a lot of people are doing the same, considering that my one was the last one on the shelf when I bought it at Big W and it's currently listed on shop.lego.com as 'Back Order'. Thing is, I really don't need another pizza parlour in my village. I've already got last year's Pizza Truck, and City Pizza does not need competition - especially since, unless Iron Man recently changed his name to 'Pepe' and went into the pizza industry, the parlour does not come with an owner. So, does anyone have any ideas as to how Pepe's Pizza can be turned into some other shop that's more useful? Preferably without sacrificing the exploding wall functionality?
  8. I completely agree. I can't wait to combine it with 75927 and put it in my village. (I'm gonna take the two brown wall sections and put them on one side, then 'unfold' the 75927 pen and put it along the other side, so it'll be like a corridor with the walls on one side and the Dino cages on the other. Sound cool?) EDIT: My mistake. I confused 75933 with 75930 and thought you were talking about Lockwood Estate. But the T-Rex truck is awesome too and I'm totally getting it anyway.
  9. You know that there actually is a story here; Cyclo isn't actually a dragon, rather he's the elemental guardian of Air. Basically a god. He just happens to look like a dragon. Even though he's actually a wyvern. (Honestly, would it have been so hard to call him a Wind Wyvern? It even sounds better that way. There's alliteration.)
  10. Did they really cram 882 pieces into the Firstbourne Dragon? On the one hand . . that'll make it expensive . . on the other . . this is gonna be so cool!
  11. The leaked one doesn't, though it might have just been left off . .
  12. Yeah, the leg printing is a bummer . . I've still got the original Skylor minifig from way back in 2015. Might try swapping the legs out? Though the fact that the belt on the 2015 one is split between torso and legs might mess that up . . . With the obvious exception of updating to match the movie, Ninjago is pretty consistent with their wigs. I doubt they'll change Skylor's, unless she gets a movie.
  13. I mean, the parts exist for everyone except Macy (and that's only because they're unwilling to make a wig with either a stud or a bar-sized hole to fit her ponytail piece, for whatever reason). Lance's is pretty common and easy to find in City and CREATOR stuff, and Clay and Axl's are rarer but still exist. (The one I use for Clay I got off Justin Hammer in that Detroit Steel set last year (which I bought to scrap for parts and repurpose into a MOC, not that anyone cares.) Aaron is the only one whose wig exists but hasn't been properly released like this. It's silly, really.
  14. But it isn't new. They have made it. In the keychain. All I'm asking for is a public of that part, which is part of the old keychain from 2015 or whenever, that does not have a hole drilled in it and is not glued to the rest of the minifig. Not a new part or anything. Is that really so much to ask? EDIT; Looked it up, the keychain is from 2016. But that doesn't change the fact that the part exists.
  15. Oh, I just had an idea. What if, in the past, some humans got trapped in the First Realm, and interbred with the Oni there? That would make the Dragon keepers human/oni hybrids!
  16. Really? I guess that makes a degree of sense . . but still, doesn't it kind of defeat the point of being a ninja to have metal chainmail rustling around when you move?
  17. It shows Aaron without his helmet! . . And, rather than giving him a proper part with headphones, they're using a totally nondescript old-style Jay wig. Great . . . if I'd known that was al it took, Aaron could have had hair since 2015. -.-
  18. Sorry to disappoint, but it looks like you'll need to get the Nightcrawler after all. That version of S.O.G. Nya doesn't come with her fabric 'skirt', based on the pictures. Which, really, is disappointing, because otherwise that book looks great. Here's hoping it actually does have the skirt and they just took it off for the sake of the bike. Or, better yet, that they dispense with the stupid, sexualised skirt part altogether. Don't think I haven't noticed that the only girl Ninja is the only one with a skirt, TLG!
  19. After seeing the end of Season 8, Mystake has gone way up my priority list.
  20. Is anyone else disappointed that we didn't see Hutchins again? I'm starting to think the S.O.G. might have actually killed him . . .
  21. Wait, I just realised. With the new infomercial about the summer sets, Garmadon isn't in any of them. While this bodes well for Ninjago continuing into 2019 and seems to imply that the fight against the Oni is more of a filler arc, with a greater confrontation with Garmadon being set up for 2019 (and I am excited by the prospect of the different story arcs having a more closely linked overall narrative) . . . the Temple of Resurrection just shot way up on my priority list.
  22. Oh, wow! So much information! The vehicle in Pursuit in the Air is called the Destiny's Wing and is made out of the remnants of the Destiny's Bounty? That makes so much sense (and gives me flashbacks to last year's Destiny's Shadow with the name). And so many named villains, with four in at least two sets . . we're gonna have an army of Oni when all's said and done. And . . okay, I have mixed feelings about the idea of more variants . . on the one hand, collectability. On the other . . now we're talking two versions of suits based on the S.O.G. suits, of which I'm probably only going to get Jay and Zane's (with Killow vs. Samurai X and Street Race of Snake Jaguar, since S.O.G. HQ came with Disguised Zane and Spinjitzu Lloyd). It'll feel a bit silly to have battle-damaged Kai and Cole without a non-damaged version to compare them with. And now I really hope the Nya in the Throne Room Set is the same as the one in the Nightcrawler, since it's already confirmed there'll be a new Lloyd outfit. But it is what it is, and I know most people will be happy so I'll just shut up.
  23. "The mother of all dragons?" On the one hand, I'm a little down that it's not specifically an elemental dragon for Kai. On the other, this sounds kickass. Now I definitely want Firstbourne. Also, is there really only going to be six sets in the summer? Or is it still possible there'll be an exclusive? Maybe with a dragon for Zane?
  24. It appears we've got confirmed names for some of the villains in the summer wave; "(The) Iron Baron", "Skullbreaker", "Heavy Metal" and "Muzzle", in addition to the "Jet Jack" we heard about before. (Definitely follows the stylings of Killow and Ultra Violet, which just furthers the idea that they're actually Oni.) Also, confirmation that the golden samurai in the Dieselnaut Fighting Vehicle (since this is taken from a description of the Dieselnaut set) is a teenage version of Wu. (Here's hoping we get to see him acting surly and rebellious. XD)
  25. Or a Nya one for that matter. Now then . . Super hyped for Season 9!
