    You . . have a point. Still, Cass would fit into Elvendale well. We could even say her big curly hair hides her ears. (I've done that a couple of times when building my Elves diorama and putting people in it.)

    Not all of them . . again, they refuse to re-release Misako. -.- Just because I couldn't (and still can't) shell out for the Temple of Airjitzu shouldn't mean I don't get a Misako fig. (Other than that shoddy Lady Iron Dragon version, but that wasn't even her.) Here's hoping we get Misako again in 2019 . . though I said the same in 2018 . . and 2017 . . and 2016 . . .

    Hey, has everyone seen the new Cass mini-doll for the Rapunzel sets later this year? Is it just me, or would that make a really awesome 'casual Cronan' outfit? Since he reformed at the end, it doesn't make much sense for him to be still walking around in full Goblin King regalia . . and Cass' outfit looks a lot like what he wore while 'undercover' in Secrets of Elvendale.

    I'm pretty sure it's just a rehash of Airjitzu, except now you're supposed to point it forwards, or at an angle, rather than up, and those big wings and tail on the box art are just added effects to make it look cooler. I dug out my old Airjitzu flyers to try it like that, and it worked pretty well - flew straight across the room and slammed into the window. So I doubt they'd fix what isn't broken. We'll probably just get new prints and revised handle builds, like the difference between the Airjitzu and Master launchers.

    Looking at the leaked retailer catalogue again, the smaller Rapunzel set is the same size as the Milan and Frozen sets this year, so it'll probably only have Rapunzel. And the larger one, with the carriage, is big enough to make out that the box says '323 pieces'. Sadly, I can't see them putting three mini-dolls in a set of that size . . on the plus side, though, I think there are going to be different outfits for Rapunzel in each set. Also, Cass' outfit and wig are lovely - great use of Aira's dress leg part, I might add - but her face . . I get they're trying to translate the animation style into mini-doll form, but that mouth . . I really hope they do something to make it a bit less exaggerated on the final version. Because it kind of makes her look like she doesn't know how to apply lipstick properly.

    Where? I've seen what I think is Jet Jack (also, holy crash. I didn't think they'd ever make such an apocalypse-survivor-looking minifig. I get the feeling that these guys are gonna be highly valued for MOCs). But not any others?

    I suppose that's one way to think about it. On the other hand . . . Naida: My combat boots, chain-mail shirt and shoulder straps will definitely help during this fight. Azari: Check out this armour! Fashionable and functional! Aira: I've got armour too, but mine's gold! How about you, Emily? Emily: I've, uh, put on a cardigan? I heard it was chilly in the Shadow World . . . I think I prefer my version. XD

    Okay, seen them now. It's a shame that there isn't a picture of 60194, since that's what I'm looking forward to most, but these look great. I particularly like 60193 with it's sword-blade propellers. Those are going to be so useful! And that sabre-tooth tiger looks amazing.

    That's makes sense for a business standpoint, too. For Force Awakens and Jurassic World, they were both big-time franchises being rebooted. It only makes sense that they'd try to cash in on the new stuff as much as possible. But everyone knows that they're both trilogies, so when it comes to follow-up games, making a game for every movie leads the consumer, when the game for the second movie comes out, to ask; "Should I buy this one? When I know there's going ti be a better version coming out in a year or two? No, I think I'll save my money," Therefore, when they make the game for the movie, they're essentially making a game for both three second and third movie of each franchise. As well as a lot of the stuff from earlier. That way, they minimise redundant expenses and maximise consumer sales.

    Okay, so I've decided to take a shot at building a small village setup for the Lego Elves stuff I've got. The idea is to have a partitioned-off area of my city (maybe two if I add a Shadow World section) accessible only via the 'magic portal', which contains buildings and builds from the Elves theme. Should be fun, right? But I've got a small problem when it comes to the music shop included in 41193 The Song of the Wind Dragon (read 'Wind Wyvern'). It's different to the other buildings in that it's built to be a 'floating island' area, and this I should reflected in the fact that it's built on white plates to represent clouds and on top of terrain that's elevated and slanted to seem like floating islands with the lower part not visible. Which raises a question; how am I supposed to integrate this with the land-based buildings? So I'm opening the field to anyone who's encountered a similar problem and might have a solution. Anyone?
