@Capt Wolf @Legostone I am currently in the process of "giving out new orders". Meaning I wish to overwrite some of my TMRCA forms. The latest forms are the ones that matter.

Chapter V - A change of plans Calinstock. Instead of the far north, the expedition had ended up in the far east! What to do now? Both the Nipper and the Cranky Parrot had been repaired to a point where they could sail near the coast at least. Though some more work would be needed before the long way home could be managed. For now the best option was to set up a base camp: the ships would provide security and could be used to explore the coast, while the nearby jungle provided some badly needed fresh food and water. And who knew what they would find here? On its second patrol down towards the southern coast, the crew of the Cranky Parrot discovered a massive tower. It could be a lighthouse, but without a closer inspection it was impossible to tell. As this tower would make an excellent base camp, both ships were ordered to anchor nearby, with a small expeditionary force investigating the site. Mr. Thaum was excited: "Interesting architecture... and watch this granite stone used for the walls, we have not seen this anywhere else around here!" Pointing towards the interior of the island, they found an entrance to the tower. Some weird sculpture looked down on them: "Most interesting! Maybe the depiction of an ancient guardian spirit? Or a god of whoever people built this? Most interesting indeed!" Pip was less enthusiastic: "Dude, calm your studs. The rest of us will go inside, shoot everything that moves, then check out what else is to be seen. Sarge, you and your men follow me!" And so it was done. Pip had a look at the lowest level, which was partly overgrown by vegetation. Sarge and the WTC Marines checked the other four levels, without finding anything of interest - not even something to shoot at! Whoever had built this tower, it had been abandoned a long time ago, leaving nothing but bare stonework behind. . . After searching the whole tower, Pip gave the following orders: "This will be our permanent base of operations from now on. Sarge, make sure your men make this a habitable place. Also collect some food and water and store it on the first floor, we might stay here for a while. For the time being the Nipper and Cranky Parrot will anchor nearby." She continued: "I want one of our messenger pigeons sent home to Mesabi Landing. Give it the following message:" Found little island north of Serentia. Claim 500DB now! Currently on Calinstock. Will explore. Send troops and supplies. Pip. With the orders given, and the pigeon flying, the WTC had set its foot on new lands in the far east. What would the future bring? =========================================================================================== I chose "Walk to the massive abandoned lighthouse on the hill." I also want to cash in on the offer of "500DB paid if you find land north of Serentia", for that is what I did early on. I am referring to this: I will happily do the transaction myself. Some more pictures of the tower build: I will build on this for the depiction of the "WTC base camp". As always, C&C are welcome.

So "leadership" does not even go by its own rules. Fine, I will keep that in mind. @Legostone Please unlicense the "WTC Reapers Bounty" and return the license fee to the account of the WTC.

Indeed they are. This ship is clearly a galleon, has five midsections, and thus is a class 7. There is no ambiguity in this case. As for more pictures: they are in the works, and will be added to the OP once they are finished. We just wanted to have this one up and licensed in time for the upcoming MRCA turn.
-
Really pretty, with a surprising amount of detail for a model this size. Very well done!
-
Concerning the size: we asked @LM71Blackbird for a class 7, and this is what he provided. It does have five midsections, so qualifies. I see no reason to "downgrade" it.
-
While the Wayfarer Trading Company had shipyards of their own, those were only able to produce smaller classes. Even the Royal Shipyards had its limits. So when in need of larger ships of line, it was Quinnsville that was able to help. Their shipyards were able to provide... ... the "WTC Blackbird"! Meant to protect the growing trade network of the WTC, the "WTC Blackbird" was designed with speed, maneuverability and firepower in mind. Anybody foolish enough to attack it would curse that decision! =============================================================================== Built by @LM71Blackbird, this class 7 6 ship will bolster the WTC fleet.

Awesome build, and a worthy small settlement of its own! I have to ask: was this part of an exhibition or some sort of display? It looks great all around, and like something you can stand in front of for a while and find new details all the time. Impressive work! Looking forward to what the Sea Rats will come up with for the rest of The Rock.

I just hope it is not too important. It has been seven weeks, and the next deadline is in two days.

Nothing came of this - should it be that way? @Bregir?

Near the port of Bastion the "Two Crabs Pub" was a popular place to have a drink or two (or three or four). It was no wonder that the Red Rogue soccer team - at this point in time only just having arrived for the annual Soccer Cup - gave it a try after noticing it during their first tour through the city: Later during the tournament, the "Two Crabs" often say groups of fans passing by, on their way to the stadium. And while some fans are just cheering for the upcoming spectacle, others already eyeballed the pub for the post-game boozy session: . Thus the "Two Crabs" became not only popular with the locals, but also with the fans from near and far. So it was no wonder that after they had won the Cup, the Red Rogues decided to celebrate their victory here: They had called for beer and pies being on the team, so lots of guests came to join the festivities - keeping the barkeep busy: . Even the Astrapi Blue Hawks, while sad to not have won the big cup, celebrated the little cup for winning third place: A good time was had by all! =============================================================================== After introducing this pub for my teams introduction, I wanted to show the teams celebration after actually winning the 618 Cup (w00t! ). With the interior it should qualify as a medium artisan, which I want to donate to the settlement of Bastion. @dr_spock: please take it as a "thank you" gift for the great tournament.

[AMRCA RSND] The Grand Expedition - Part I
Darnok replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Chapter I - Navigation and Discovery The RSND fleet had sailed smoothly for days, when one morning through the slowly clearing fog the look-out shouted: "Sail ho, sharp on the starboard bow!" and after a moment: "5 vessels, ships of war, standing south, flying... Lotii colours?" This could mean trouble for the future: Lotii war ships, this far in the North-East? Epper did not want to delay the expedition, so signalled the nearby rest of the fleet to stay hidden in the mist. Either the Lotii had not seen them, or ignored them, for they did not change course and were out of sight soon. Without further incidents, the expedition came close to what was only known as "New Haven Sea, Island 7". Epper took a closer look at the southern end of the island: There seemed to be a pathway up the cliffs near one of the bays, leading to an opening in the jungle on top: . After some discussion with the other captains, it was decided that this path was the best way to start exploring the interior of the island. A landing was to be established soon, claiming this land for the Crown of Corrington. What would the island have to offer? These were interesting times ahead for all of them! ========================================================================== We decided to "Go for the plateau up top". The fleet microbuild was done by @Bregir, behind the spoiler are the original pictures he provided: The microbuild of the shore and cliff can be seen in full under the next spoiler: -
Very cool indeed. Not a fan of the whole Brickheadz thing, but these are awesome!
-
Nice progression of the story! I really like the exterior, the build is properly busy. TNT everywhere indeed! The interior - apart from the lovely billard table - could use some more love in my opinion. It looks a bit empty to me, especially in contrast to how much is going on outside. Still a good build overall, a fine addition to Mesabi Landing. Well done!

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Darnok replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
These sound like some reasonable changes to me, and should make life more interesting for Sea Rats. -
Any chance we get a BotBS Card for unsurmountable success and fame forever in the BotBS Soccer Cup 618?

The details can be found in the Mesabi Landing settlement thread, in this post to be more precise.

Great design, excellent build overall, and with a surprising yet beautiful colour choice. I love it!

[BTSC] BoBS Tournament Soccer Cup 618
Darnok replied to dr_spock's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Fans of all teams are heading to the stadium, eagerly awaiting the final game. Of course the red and green of todays matchup are the most common colours! And while some fans are just cheering for the upcoming spectacle, others already eyeball nearby pubs for the post-game boozy session: . -
