  1. Congratulations to the Astrapi Blue Hawks for taking the third place!
  2. I see you have never been to Mesabi Landing...
  3. Damn fine build! The sign is excellent, as is the overall design. Loving the "legal disclaimer" too! P.S.: The Bru-Haha maskot? Dead rat in the brewing tank?
  4. The WTC is up to the task.
  5. I have yet to post my builds for it, but there is an Oktoberfest in Mesabi Landing as well - to be repeated next year. Food, beer, festivities - the WTC is all into it! So no matter how the tournament ends this year, next year it will be played alongside some massive Oktobefest celebrations!
  6. Woo-hoo-hoo! FINALE, O-HO! FINALE, O-HO-HO-HO! Great write-up, and an excellent idea to split the games into many subsections. Made for a much more interesting read!
  7. Was there not some amount of beer involved too? Works for me.
  8. Just noticed in Octobers Account Summary that Zublius Von Wreck (NPC pirate) is currently in the red. Does that have any ingame implications? On a similar issue: what happens to players who are in the red for some time?
  9. @Phred Thanks for the update! There seems to be at least one mistake though, since Mesabi Landing is listed with 160 points of settlement size, while it actually has 164. To be fair, quite a few other settlement sizes do not add up at all for me (e.g. Arlinsport, Jameston, Quinnsville). P.S.: Something is wrong with the shiplevels, a lot of players are listed with incorrect numbers (often "0").
  10. Interesting concept for sure, and nice execution! The WTC might "borrow" the design...
  11. The Red Rogues getting their brickbutts kicked and the Weelond Regimentals scoring big time made for a surprising finish in Group 1. It is extremely cool that the results in Group 2 come down to goal saldo - so every single goal did count! Congrats to all the teams advancing to the semis! Also many thanks again to @dr_spock for the highly amusing commentaries.
  12. Nice results, even though my Rogues took a well deserved day off. Semis for them anyway, woohoo!
  13. Ah damn, get well soon. The commentary on the games is hilarious, keep up the great work! P.S.: Baby Team and Charlatan Bay Infernos are placed wrong in their respective tables - each should be on third place instead of fourth.
  14. Nice read as always, thanks for the hard work put into this!
  15. Some sick results, but I guess the masses appreciate the amount of goals.
  16. I kind of like the idea. Since you can always make up characters on the spot, and do not have to enter one you do not want to lose, there is no real "risk" involved. It could make up for some great and/or hilarious stories though! Keep in mind that you can already risk your characters life though: you can always come up with a story collaboration with somebody to decide the fate of a certain character of yours.
  17. I think this matter should be brought before the Court. Serious questions need serious answers!
  18. As soon as the baby team drops out, we instantly gain eleven new balls. Win-win!
  19. Religious totalitarism in the making - but at least the folks have fun for now. Nice build, with a great story as usual. Well done!
  20. Nice! Will the group stage be handled with the usual point system, i.e. 3 points for a victory, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss?
  21. Sooo... the beacons are lit?
  22. Hmm, fair point. How about adding one NPC team - for a total of 10 - and two groups of five teams for the preliminaries? That's four games for each team, determining the two best teams in each round. Then play two semis: between #1 of group A vs. #2 of group B for semi #1, and vice versa for the semi #2. The winners play for the cup.
  23. The OP has been updated, and the story builds are really good! I like the many little scenes, they give a feel of business and action around the game - well done!
  24. Why the sad smiley? That sounds great, I am looking forward to the result!
