  1. @Jim thank you for the great review
  2. I mean this in a good way - that is just ridiculous. I initially thought you'd attached a non-Lego moulded section to some technic tracks, the close up photos show that no, you just built to such a high standard that it looks like the real thing. The subject matter isn't my cup of tea but your skill in creating it is unbelievable!
  3. Congrats on a lovely moc, with fantastic flowing lines! personally I think the blue looks better with the yellow; however is it cheaper to build in red?
  4. This is so good, fantastic playability! I'm looking forward to the instructions, definitely want to try this one out congrats again, on a lovely MOC
  5. Bravo! I love it my only very small thing that I would have changed would be maybe to make some custom stickers for the paper. However: 1) it looks great 2) it is unique and unusual 3) it looks like it has good playability 4) kudos as it is a true C model, and what's more from a set I actually own, so if you did instructions I'd definitely be making it! fantastic work, and so fast as well
  6. It just looks better and better. That spot for the battery is exactly what I was thinking. Are you going to post a video of the functions when it is complete?
  7. For the rally car I'd like a UCS Subaru Impreza, fully manual, in the style of 42056 but without that set's well publicised issues. And for the giant truck, v unlikely and not licenced and not really a truck, but how about one of these?
  8. The chicken is in the oven
  9. it looks that way This one is even better worse.
  10. @Ivan_M ah yes now I think I remember you saying you were on holiday. Hope you have a brilliant time!
  11. @Ivan_M hi - just wondered if you were still planning on instructions for this model? I appreciate that they take a lot of time and work to put together, I'm just very keen to see the parts list and calculate whether I have the pieces to build a copy without spending a fortune on BrickLink
  12. It is a monster! I like your stickers very much, and the racing mods to the cockpit are clever - it looks like a rough and ready racer inside now, instead of a street car with racing pedigree. Big question - I'm guessing you took the travel bag out of the trunk now it is a track car?! Edit: for my part, while I wouldn't have spray-painted the pieces myself, I also think 'live and let live', and if you had fun and are happy with the results then it was a good decision
  13. @jb70 thank you for yet another iteration of your fantastic instructions! and @el Squatter (+ @jb70 for optimisations): I've just finished rebuilding the doors with this locking mechanism - what a great, smooth solution, it works so well and is very clean, and much sturdier than the locking mechanism I was using. I'm not going to add a gear indicator as I don't want to pull the set apart after making so many changes to it, but other than that it is fully up to date with the mods, improvements and fixes. Actually there's one more thing I'd have liked to do, add chrome wheels. However I can't afford a set of 4 chrome wheels on BrickLink unfortunately.
  14. 1. Leinaud 2. JTS 3. Marxpek Great work all round
  15. @JamesJT Yikes - that zombie's movements are incredible, very fluid! I could watch the thing crawl around for hours. It'd be good for scaring my children too
