  1. @BrickbyBrickTechnic I'd like to echo the above - the top of the cabin looks fantastic, it's an area I've previously struggled with in terms of finding a good-looking solution (the other being decent fenders/mudguards which sit quite close to the wheels, but without the use of flex axles...) Will you be adding lights, horns etc. to the roof? Or keeping the lines clean?
  2. @kbalage LOVE. IT. might be a bit melty on the tracks, but great anyway
  3. @r12ax7 thanks - I am leaning more towards 42054, I can pick it up here for around £80. I'm not big into full RC, I prefer manual with a couple of PF elements. The only things that are swaying me towards 42069 is that I love how it looks with wheels, and the higher part count, but to mod to wheels it would cost even more money...
  4. Quick question- I can only afford one new set; for those who have both, would you recommend 42054 or 42069? Cheers
  5. @Minimalist1, @Rail Co I strongly recommend @jb70'S 'pimp up my Porsche' free instructions - https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8003/jb70/42056-pimp-up-my-porsche/#info These include lockable doors, easily removable body, @Didumos69'S critical fixes and mods, sturdier chassis, HOG mechanism, Ackerman steering, improved suspension plus much more. 224 additional common parts required, all available from BrickLink. @Minimalist1 not sure if you've seen, but there is another (very long) EB thread covering improvements to this set... i also recommend installing @Didumos69's improved PDK shift module, this was the icing on the cake for me only a few more additional parts needed and it both works brilliantly and looks great - https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8333/Didumos/improved-pdk-shifters/#info
  6. Following this with interest - I love a good truck
  7. @Superkoala - echoing the above comments, this is fantastic - another unusual build, a brilliant MOC of a utilitarian vehicle. What I would now love to see: 1) Custom decals on the grey side panels, e.g. like the Lufthansa decals and Hi-Vis numbering on the vehicle in your first photo. 2) Try it out with a full Technic plane - MOC or official (might be too heavy to lift? But it'd look awesome anyway...) 3) Your MOC sitting alongside this one:

  9. @kbalage that's a lovely photo, I like it a lot - great work
  10. That's an easy one to solve - use these wheels instead
  11. That really isn't too bad you know. Check out this thread for some real monsters (including my own pathetic first effort...)
  12. Maybe just build this instead https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8976/Ivan_M/military-recovery-truck/#info
  13. Jumping on this late to say it is a great MOC! Congrats. it has also got me excited about the potential for the rumoured H1 2018 rally car official set. Hopefully lots of scope for custom decals, a rally car is one of the few vehicles where loads of stickers looks better and not worse.
