  1. @jb70 'Pimp up your Bugatti' is underway thanks for sharing
  2. @jono rocky please could you re-post the pics or a link to where they can be viewed off EB? I can only see one of them here :(
  3. That’s lovely. I’m sorry for asking as I know it isn’t always appreciated, but were You planning on making instructions? I think I’d dismantle my Arocs to make this, it looks like it’d be almost but not quite a C model with the Arocs as donor, not many additional parts needed (?)
  4. Cool, thank you - I’ll think on it and see what I fancy doing once the cab is built.
  5. exactly the sort of thing I have in mind
  6. I’ve bought the Mack, due to arrive next week and I am already considering what I’m going to do once I’ve built the stock version; one option I was considering was seeing if I could attach a multi axle low loader to carry the claas xerion as an ‘abnormal load’, not sure if that’d look silly though; my other idea is to make a scale modelled haulage load for a flatbed trailer, I’ve been looking into 1:20 scale oil drums tbh I don’t like the aesthetics of the trailer that is included so I’m planning to build it then immediately dismantle and make something else...
  7. Has anyone managed to shorten and/or reshape the nose? Reading Milan’s review, that seems to be one of the few criticisms of the cosmetics, but I can’t tell if shortening the front end by 2-3 studs would be relatively straightforward, fairly difficult, or nigh-on impossible.
  8. Very quick question, I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer elsewhere but mods please feel free to delete this once it’s been answered: approximately what scale is 42078? Am I right that it is approx. 1:24? Thank you.
  9. Would it be worth spray-painting the front grille grey tube and side c grey tubes silver, or do you think that’d be sacrilege and/or inaccurate?
  10. +1 my next highest priority request is sturdier doors, with locking mechanism.
  11. Love the look of it, regardless of functions it’ll be a great display model next to the Porsche. Hopefully this’ll be a Christmas bonus-buy for me.
  12. Yes! Although am I right in thinking that transparent/semi-transparent pieces are less strong, hence the lack of see-through large panels and load-bearing pieces? I'm sure I read that somewhere, something to do with the manufacturing process, but apologies if I just made it up...
  13. Do we reckon it’ll have HOG steering?
  14. @technic_addict there were loads: widened hood widened roof reshaped flex axles remodelled rear remodellwd small fin on rear hood small panels on rear hood third party light kit custom stickers gaps filled everywhere rear view mirror front and rear hood props locking doors (functional and aesthetic) @Didumos69 pdk module (functional and aesthetic) rear licence plate some of those were included in @jb70‘s pimp up my Porsche, some were gleaned from the EB mods and improvements thread, and some were my own. Anyway, I probably spent as long implementing all of this as I did building it to start with :)
  15. I like it, but I’m even more excited to see what mods everyone comes up with once it is released. The mods are what turned the Porsche from a ‘nice to have’ into a ‘must have’ for me (I’m not even including the fixes for the well-publicised Porsche problems here, purely the bodywork mods and refinements). I’m thinking led lights, custom stickers, hood reshaping, gap filling, interior embellishing... exciting times
  16. A brilliant (and brilliantly-executed) idea
  17. @I_Igor I see what you mean - that is a bit closer to the first iteration of the attachment I built. I like it a lot! I don't think I had the spares to adequately create the flared-outward shape above the wheels, but I'm very interested to see your version. The top curved cover would potentially work well with several of part 18944, however that could end up being quite expensive
  18. @barbaneraI like what you did with the headlight surrounds, haven't seen that before. What part did you use?
  19. This is staggering. A beautiful model, I wish I owned it.
  20. This is a wonderful model, one of my favourites of recent times. The only improvement I’d make would be third party rotating leds for the blue lights on top of the cab. Congratulations.
  21. Wonderfully aggressive, and I love the decals. In black and chrome it’d be a good Russian mafia vehicle also you’ve photographed it very well indeed, IMO.
