Lego themes that we would like to happen
Digger of Bricks replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For me, I'm hoping for my own sake that it'll end-up being a another in-house, System-based "big bang" theme (i.e. Ninjago, Chima, Nexo Knights) that's more up-my-alley; but, having said that, it'd be fairer to Constraction fans who haven't anything at all if were such instead of another System-based theme.- 451 replies

Heh, I see they've made good usage of those particular "gem" parts from the Elves theme in this set. -
Looking good! I still love the front intake of this design best!

Say, those are pretty cute! But, if you're ever gonna further tackle Retro-styled spacecraft, might I also suggest you try your hand at some retro rocketcraft too!

Lego themes that we would like to happen
Digger of Bricks replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, we'll see what next year's "Leaf" theme is won't we? I'm not really a fan of such adult-oriented franchises coming under Lego's umbrella, but I would be interested in seeing Disney's Gravity Falls being represented in some way having recently checked out the show, as it's somewhat comparable regarding its brand of "tongue-in-cheek" humor.- 451 replies

Only for 2019, and after that, we may not likely see the subtheme return to City until 2023 as customary within a four-year cycle for nearly all of its exploration-based subthemes (that is, unless this year's Mars Expedition sets do extraordinarily well-enough to justify them becoming an annual mainstay within the City theme).

Eh, not the most desirable of selection this time around. I guess it'll just be Disney Series 2, though TLNM was a close contender.

Say, you've the guy who created those excellent LEGO Ideas submissions based upon Atlantis: The Lost Empire aren't you?! It's really good to see you back again, so sorry to hear about the log-in issues with your primary account...

We'll see won't we? Even if the LEGO Ideas project isn't approved in review, I'm certain Lego will still consider such a set for a future D2C after the fact. P.S. I must say, your own recently-submitted LEGO Ideas project is just simply stunning!!! LEGO Ideas - Ratatouille: Open The Doors!

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Dream Series Game.
Digger of Bricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
While most "Space" archetypes we've seen from previous Series are pretty derivative from one another, one particular exception to that rule I've felt is crucially needed for the theme is just a simple Starship Captain (ya know, Star Trek's Kirk or Picard), kind of a Sci-Fi staple when you think about it. -
Check out this strange prototype torso...

Since I passed up on it last time for Series 9, my vote's going to Disney Series 1 over Series 16.

Having recently checked out Disney's Gravity Falls TV show for the first time, I thought I might as well express my wish to see a playset of the Mystery Shack since @figura's LEGO Ideas project based upon such was removed from the current review. My wish for such though, has a twist... Gravity Falls | The Mystery Shack/Shacktron 2-In-1 - Priced at around US $100-$120, the set would feature Grunkle Stan's Mystery Shack with additional parts provided to modify it into Old Man McGucket's Shacktron mech. Figures would include Dipper & Mabel Pines (respectively paired with Journal No. 3 and Grappling Hook), Grunkles Stanley & Stanford Pines, Soos Ramirez, Wendy Corduroy, and Mable's pet pig Waddles.

The Flea Market idea is the one that'd be the most personal for me, as those are the kinda places through which I've accumulated by own Lego collection (not to mention garage sales, estate sales, local Goodwills, and the such).

Nexo Knights is no longer though, as 2018 was its last year.

Here are a few ideas I had floating around in my head this morning for further People Packs, with the first three being in the same vein as my Cruise Night idea based off of local community-organized events I'm familiar with: Fun at the Flea Market Fun at the Craft Fair Fun at the Farmers' Market Fun at the Bazaar Fun at the Comic Con
