  1. Besides the fact that this set looks to introduce some additional contributions to the new track system, I really dig the Brick built text reading COASTER! By the way, presumably Power Functions will be suggested as an add-on again, right?
  2. Oh yeah, that's real, and it looks incredible.
  3. Seen any other noteworthy Nexo Knights themed creations about recently? Here's one of the few pictures Andrew took of the build himself:
  4. Sure, that's a fair size. I also should add that I'd prefer if the set simply weren't cartoonishly, stark white. For a little bit of variance, the white marble should be offset with some Light Bluish Grey stone as accenting I think.
  5. If Lego were to someday do a Hall of Justice, I'd like it to be a D2C set built within Creator Expert Modular standards, with a heavy Art Deco architectural style. What 2013's D2C Arkham was to Gothic architecture, a D2C Hall of Justice would be to Art Deco architecture.
  6. For me, they're just old-timey and nostalgic.
  7. Has anyone here ever seen this Nexo Knights themed SHIP by Andrew Lee before, the one in the center of the table in this interview by Beyond the Brick? Andrew also built the Macy Mech seen the above video too!
  8. It did do well, but I think that it didn't do just as well as The Lego Movie had done.
  9. If Warner Brothers DID end up scraping The Billion Brick Race, what do you suppose TLG would end up doing with all the progress in developing tie-in sets for it? Would it be repackaged as a new in-house action theme, or would set/minifigure designs be incorporated elsewhere into other preexisting themes/lines?
  10. I've always wanted to see the close-up details on this beauty, so I was excited to discover this one interview with@Siercon and Coral by Beyond the Brick at BrickFair Alabama 2018 looking over it in depth!
  11. Mountain Winter Villa by Namirob 1950's Patrol Car by redfern1950s Space Monorail by @Mark Bellis(?)
  12. Hey, is this yours @Mark Bellis? I'm about 95% sure it is! LEGO Ideas - Space Monorail by markthus
  13. Oooh, a most ornate exterior for a sixteen wide Lego Store! The interior too is nicely done for such a narrow space, and I like how you've already incorporated the promotional Minifigure Factory set into there also!
  14. I'd like to see another DC Comics set (whether it be comic or CW based) that comes with a Gorilla Grodd BigFig, only this time with normal eyes and a lack of electrodes on his forehead, much like the one seen in the CW show. That way, the figure could be more easily repurposed as a stand in for either Mighty Joe Young or a midsized King Kong.
  15. Seeing that both the Incredimobile and Bob and Helen's original suits reappear in this sequel, now I really want to see a proper, non-Juniors set with a better build of that car. By the way, for that matter, does anyone know of any good MOC recreations of the Incredimobile? I was looking around Flickr the other day and really couldn't find anything.
  16. Thanks to @Chmashdehjare, here's the Instagram page for a mother and son team who have built at least three ginormous minifigure displays for Portland OR's Bricks Cascade event over the past few years. Before their page was brought to my attention, I've only seen their work photographed by others at Bricks Cascade over on Flickr. Instagram - Austen & Pamela (themoctologists)
  17. You mean this one, by Austin and Pamela Henry-Biskup? I came across this display on Flickr (photographed by Chris Christian ) a little while ago, yet I couldn't find the builders' Flickr page, but now... Thanks to you, now I know that they haven't a Flickr page, but an Instagram account instead! Again, thank you for finding this, as I've seen a few other displays of theirs over on Flickr (photographed by others) which I've been awestruck by, including both a Steampunk themed set-up and King Kong inspired display!
  18. Another Tron MOC here, this time though constructed from some of the parts from the new Ideas set! TRON - Warfighter Mech by Chai hei Mok Saw this featured on The Brothers Brick a few days ago. While the last Beauty and the Beast creation you mentioned here was stunning in its scale, I really like this one better for its colorful intricacy.
  19. Recently, Flickr user LegoGallifrey has been cooking up some awesome LDD designs of retrofuturistic aerocars and speeder bikes which I'd like to share here, with more to come most likely! To me, I'd guess this was to be a simple microscale recreation of the Taj Mahal that went overboard.
  20. I'm not really a fan of the theme myself either, not so much for its story (I've never watched the TV show), but for the line's very premise. Yes, the theme has had its share of sets which have caught my eye, but medieval ninjas flying around in modern fighter jets?
