  1. Young Peter Parker has to be my favorite of this series, particularly for his toy Iron Man helmet!
  2. Two nights ago, I checked out the DC Animated adaptation of Gotham by Gaslight, and found it to be pretty good! It had a fairly well paced story, and dialogue that never seemed cringy at any point. Granted, the animation itself wasn't the greatest, especially during dialogue-centric scenes, but the animation of fight scenes helped make up for that. As for the twist ending, I still don't know how I feel about it, but I certainly didn't see it coming!
  3. Wow, I love these two! The aptly named Root Canal is extraordinary in its eclectic spectrum of colors, while the second one has a great roof with nicely complementing Sand Green shutters! Say, you wouldn't happen to live in that house, do you?
  4. Absolutely! Here's another topic which featured some really cool reinventions: BrickPicker - Updating the Classics Some of my favorites featured on that topic:
  5. For me, when Lego fails to reuse a mold beyond its originally intended purpose, it's a damn shame.
  6. As of the time of this posting, The Vintage Motorcycle of BMW R60/2 by maximecheng needs only twelve more supporters to reach the 10K threshold. Personally, I'm hoping for approval of the Treehouse project.
  7. I'm really hoping someone, or some LUG, will incorporate this rollercoaster track into a futuristic city display as an elevated transportation system, suspended and running throughout buildings and such. If you aren't counting that one Friends set from 2016, nope, those are the only three rollercoaster sets utilizing the new track so far. There are a bunch of other sets repurposing the track in LBG in other ways, also released this year too. Speaking of Friends, I do anticipate a new rollercoaster set for the theme sometime in the near future, utilizing the new track system as opposed to recolored narrow gauge track.
  8. Oh, well, thank you for the render of a 2×3 rendition of that part, but I'm afraid I haven't explained myself well enough. By "same slope", I meant a part like 43720/43721, but with a continuous slope which doesn't transition to an upright, non-sloped face. I'm not sure if you would be able to render a part like that, so if not, I understand.
  9. Yeah, I saw @Robert8 mention that too over on the 2018 City topic, but I think it's too textured to be used for that character. As of now, I'm betting that it will end up being utilized for some Harry Potter and/or Fantastic Beasts character in one of the sets or CMFs, if it is indeed a licensed mold.
  10. Have you spotted any others?
  11. Ha, I like how they added three gold rollerskates onto the 'S' in 'COASTER' to resemble cars on a track, as I couldn't see that detail before.
  12. Mammoths are quite anatomically different from both African and Indian Elephants, and this mold doesn't seem to allow much in the way of repurposing for that matter. Sciencing - The Differences Between Mammoths and Elephants
  13. Yes, same here! As far as reimagined Castle sets, I haven't seen any really, but I've seen plenty of Classic Space sets reimagined multiple times in many ways. But, there is this discussion topic from the BrickPicker Forums featuring MOCs that do just that! BrickPicker - Updating the classics
  14. Over on the Brickpicker forums, one of their moderators TheOrcKing has been tending to a multitude of inspiration topics he started, each focused upon an individual genre/theme, at least starting in 2014 from what I can tell. I've both discovered and rediscovered a few creations featured on these discussions since coming across these fourms, so I'd like to link a few of the Sci-Fi themed topics here for those who visit this one. 15. Of course, I'd love to see something with a Decopunk/Teslapunk aesthetic, kinda resembling the Lancer Big Daddy from BioShock 2.
  16. For instance, I'd hope to someday see inverse counterparts for part pairs 50955/50956 and 42060/42061.

  18. Hmm, interesting. Still, it just doesn't seem like an archetypical hairstyle, instead looking like something signature to a particular licensed/original character.
  19. To all those who visit and read this discussion, I'd like to ask, what aesthetic style would you wish to see the next constraction theme take after? If you haven't the most fitting name or adjective to describe what you'd like to see, cite some visual examples to give an idea!
  20. TRULY MAGNIFICENT! Man, I've just looked through all five pages of your linked Flickr album of part proposals, and I'm seriously impressed! Like @koalayummies had suggested, you really should share these proposals in the Embassy topic he mentioned! Well, a family of parts I've always really wished to see would be some slope brick pairs which resembled 6565/6564 and 41767/41768, only this time with their directionally changing faces (the side of the brick which "goes against the grain" of the studs) sloped. Think of the part pair 43720/43721, only this time the slope stays constant instead of straightening out to an upwards face.
  21. Saw this was featured on The Brothers Brick today. The Brothers Brick - Black Falcon's back - a classic Castle updated
  22. Well, Brickset currently has one image of the set up now. Brickset - 31078 Tree House Treasures
  23. Well, I don't think a hairpiece done for that character would be so textured. Perhaps it had initially been designed for either a Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts minifigure and/or CMF?
  24. As far as new molds in this people pack go, the eagle and the mountain bike frame have to be the highlights for me, but that baby carrier is kinda cool too! By the way, where does the hairpiece on the older female figure in this pack come from? Is it new?
