  1. One thing I do find seemingly strange about this set, is that its feet don't look to be firmly planted, as if there's no articulation in its ankles. If that may be the case, I'm wondering how that'll affect its stability.
  2. Variety - 'Indiana Jones 5’ Will Miss 2020 Release Date (EXCLUSIVE)
  3. Finally watched Ready Player One last night, and found it to be pretty enjoyable, especially its ending in particular. But, for a two hour movie, I thought it seemed to go by rather fast.
  4. As a reference point for those who haven't seen the original, here's @len_d69's fan build for the project as a comparison to the finalized product: Eurobricks - [MOC] Voltron
  5. I hadn't even bothered reading all of the previous comments from yesterday's thunderstorm when this was revealed, but upon seeing individual shots of each CMF, I am excited for both the new mid-sized legs (Quite unexpected! ) and many of the new hairpiece molds and recolors. But besides that, there's no CMF that I'm absolutely crazy about, since I'm not at all a fan of the Harry Potter franchise. If I were to say who my favorite one was though, in terms of design at least, it probably would be of Professor Trelawney, with her Sand Green attire, and new teacup and hairpiece molds.
  6. I almost wonder if it will be a more of a preview figure of one that we'll see in one of the normal retail playsets anyway, kinda like the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con Superman minifigure.
  7. Sometimes certain CMFs have served as forerunners for an upcoming line in the past it seems (I guess the S7 Galaxy Patrol CMF come to mind as a forerunner to Galaxy Squad), but that's never the case for the most part. It was an interesting helmet mold though, one that I'm surprised we haven't seen show up elsewhere. But yes, those are pretty much the type of miners I'd wish to see populate a Space Miners theme, suggesting a lack of oxygen to directly communicate that it's a Space theme.
  8. If there's an exclusive figure to be given away, then I'd definitely expect to see at least one tie-in playset to be unveiled there, while at the very least a discussion panel for the movie itself should be guaranteed. As for a trailer, like I said eariler, The Lego Movie did not get one for Comic-Con, while The Lego Batman Movie did. So...
  9. Just as a heads up... The Brick Fan - More LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2018 Exclusives Coming Including Minifigures
  10. Just as a heads up... The Brick Fan - More LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2018 Exclusives Coming Including Minifigures
  11. By the way, it looks like we'll be seeing an exclusive San Diego Comic-Con minifigure from TLM2: The Brick Fan - More LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2018 Exclusives Coming Including Minifigures
  12. You mean Ezra Miller's Flash from 2017's Justice League?
  13. For me, it's Disney, as it encompasses more than just a singular movie, TV show, or franchise, therefore having a potentially longer lifespan than the others could ever have. Speaking of Disney, you've probably seen @Ashnflash's latest custom CMS...
  14. I guess it'll take some getting used to, but right now, I'm really not that fond of the new set-up, as it strangely looks rather archaic compared to its previous format.
  15. Given that we're going to see at least one comic-based set for January next year, how many more would you guys expect to see yourselves? Two perhaps, to round it out to three like this year? Also, if you'd be expecting to see additional comic-based sets released for January then, how much do you think they'll take after the LEGO DC Villains videogame, in terms of minifigure designs particularly?
  16. Check out what @Ashnflash has just cooked up!
  17. Nah, if anything, I'd rather merge the James Bond discussion from the Licensed subforum with this topic.
  18. Hey there @J4ck, I just want to say that I really appreciate how you've been adding the "speculation" tag to all the product discussions you've started so far. It's a little thing, but hey...
  19. By the way, @J4ck has just started a topic for 2019 sets, if any of you haven't seen it already.
  20. Yes! I'd definitely hope to see both of these elements incorporated into a future Pirates theme, as I'm sure brick-built sea monsters and antagonistic pirates would be quite a draw for kids.
  21. Well, put into that perspective, I think we may have a pretty strong case for such a revival on the horizon! After all, we really do need some sort of lower-tiered in-house action/adventure theme in today's current product lineup. Besides the underground genre, I'm also hoping to see a return to the Aquazone genre sometime here, perhaps in 2020 ten years after the debut of the last Aquazone theme, Atlantis. By the way, what sort of aesthetic, storyline, and/or setting would you yourself hope to see for the next underground theme, whenever it does roll around?
