  1. By the way @Jim, have you end-up reconsidering moving that one topic for some particular reason?
  2. Not sure myself how, when, and where the term came about, but I do know that it's exclusive to AFOL vernacular to denote MOCs that are collections of around five custom minifigures puristically made-up of preexisting official parts and prints.
  3. Aquanaut * Gender: Male or Female, either way. Occupation/print on torso: Flame Yellowish Orange torso with two robotic arms (same part as Series 1's Robot) in same color with Black claw hands. Plus, LEGO Aquanauts' logo printed center upper torso. Type of headgear: Atlantis diving headgear (part no. 87754) recolored in Flame Yellowish Orange with Trans-Light Blue accompanying visor and two Black Technic components (part no. 15100) pinned into headgear's Technic pinholes with Trans-Light Blue circular plates inversely studded into part for spotlights. Type of facial expression: Smiling with wonderment. Color on torso/legs: Two copies of Rodney Rathbone's mechanical leg recolored in Flame Yellowish Orange pinned into Black standard minifigure hip piece. Accessory: None. * Inspired after modern Atmospheric Diving Suits with some nods to Lego's first Aquazone subtheme, Aquanauts.
  4. Huh, interesting to know, I didn't know that was a rumor at the time... Of course, I myself immediately thought of Doctor Facilier from Disney's The Princess and the Frog when I saw him.
  5. Minuteman Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: Reddish Brown overcoat with Olive Green dress shirt underneath and Reddish Brown messenger bag (part no. 61976). Type of headgear: New Ponytail/Tricorn Hat mold from Series 20 recolored in Earth Orange & Reddish Brown respectively. Type of facial expression: Solemn and observant. Color on torso/legs: Dual-molded Dark Tan legs with Reddish Brown boots. Accessory: Flintgun (part no. 2561) recolored in Dark Brown. Frontiersman Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: Dark Tan fringed buckskin coat with Reddish Brown belt and messenger bag (part no. 61976). Type of headgear: Wiley Fusebot's coonskin cap recolored in Dark Bluish Grey with Black tail stripes. Type of facial expression: Relaxed smile underneath heavy Dark Brown facial hair. Color on torso/legs: Dual-molded Dark Tan legs with Reddish Brown boots. Accessory: Rifle (part no. 30141) recolored in Dark Brown and buck knife in Dark Bluish Grey.
  6. Well then, have you yet seen his Crisis On Infinite Earths CMF Draft from a couple of months ago? That one too hasn't been featured here yet...
  7. I myself recently checked out their latest animated adaptation of Superman: Red Son, which was rather decent though not quite as great as Gotham by Gaslight as far as Elseworlds adaptations go.
  8. Will it be a themed Series or otherwise? I presume your avatar change there is a teaser for such?
  9. Oooooh, that's real nice, probably'd have the most scary-looking skull print for a minifigure if this were real... You know, I'd like to add that if you do such for a future Series, I wouldn't follow the selected suggestions verbatim but use them primarily as inspiration, as I'd like to see your Series stay consistent within your own artistic interpretations of such archetypes...
  10. New Elementary - LEGO® DOTS REVIEW: BRACELET STRAP
  11. While I do agree that most of those designs wouldn't fit a D&D-inspired wave, I still would hope to see that Teslapunk/Decopunk aesthetic adopted by those concept designs seen in the upper right-hand corner come to the Ninjago theme for a wave in some capacity...
  12. Well, I suppose it's reasonable to figure that they'd skip a year before doing a second Series, though personally I wouldn't totally dismiss 2021 as a possibility. As far as other DC-themed CMF Drafts that haven't yet been highlighted here, have you also seen @Ashnflash's Young Justice CMS?
  13. Oooooh, interesting, so I'm presuming it's another "FigBarf" CMS made-up of preexisting physical parts and prints?
  14. I think that'd be best; and while it could be left here on this subforum and broadened to welcome suggestions for figures outside of the Collectable Minifigures, we already have individual wishlist topics for every other theme besides the Collectable Minifigure theme, so it might as well stay particular to future CMF suggestions. For that matter, could it perhaps be retitled to be more clearly particular to such, maybe renamed something like LEGO Collectable Minifigures - Ideas and Future Suggestions?
  15. Haven't yet mentioned this recent submission from a couple of days ago... LEGO Ideas - Lego Medieval Farmer Village by Luuknijman
  16. Say @Jim, should the former Embassy topic What Minifigs are we Missing be instead moved to the Special LEGO Themes subforum? Historically, mods have always cited CMF wish-listers to this topic rather starting another one; and after all, Collectable Minifigure discussion topics belong in that subforum.
  17. You know, I could see the new ponytail/tricorn hat combo mold introduced with Series 20's upcoming "Pirate Lass" CMF being recolored for a Minuteman/Paul Revere-inspired CMF in a future Series...
  18. By the way, does anyone here figure we could see further "future product" contests hosted on LEGO Ideas similar to the most recent "Vote for the Next Star Wars UCS" one? I know we had a couple of smaller "Gift-With-Purchase" contests hosted there previously, but never one of that kinda scale from what I'm aware of. I highly doubt LEGO would include them in the finalized set though... The head molds are probably out of production at this point. I guess it is surprising that we haven't seen the mold reused for at least a CMF, as that'd be an apt place to revive it...
  19. Director Colin Trevorrow has officially revealed the title for 2021's third Jurassic World film...
  20. Well, I'd imagine whatever Series planned for release in January 2021 would have its development fast-tracked as so to move it up to Aug/Sept 2020.
  21. My goodness, that really would've been quite the surprise! Would you've selected those sixteen suggestions based upon your own personal likening, or would reoccurrence of suggested archetypes not yet covered been a factor?
  22. Thanks so much! Clearly there is still a demand for more Indiana Jones sets! If nothing else, I hope LEGO notices that! I'm quite certain Lego is planning on reviving the theme next year in some capacity to tie into the cinematic release of the fifth installment. It's not often you see original "vehicular sculpture" MOCs of a more fantastical nature submitted to LEGO Ideas, and I certainly wasn't expecting to see one inspired after Vincent Gashod's work there...

  25. For those of you who aren't following Series 20's main discussion topic, @Itaria No Shintaku just had this to share...
