New graphics are in the air - share your feedback
Digger of Bricks replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I see the Pirates subforum has also gotten some new banner graphics of its own, looks nice! I hope we'll see the same soon here for the Action/Adventure Themes subforum, and how 'bout the Special LEGO Themes subforum? If I remember right, it used to have a Fabuland-themed banner once upon a time, so might a new banner for that subforum be Collectable Minifigure themed next time around? When was the last time EB had a non-seasonal banner, if ever? -
Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
So, could these figures in the Avenger sets be comic-inspired or based off the upcoming Square Enix game like with January's sets? It'd be interesting to see comic-inspired variants of Loki and Black Widow given that we haven't seen such yet, and I'm also interested to see how a new Red Skull will look whether he be comic or game inspired. -
DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hmmm, well, I guess I'm most interested to see what a new non-TLBM Batgirl figure will look like in this Mobile Batcave set. I'm particularly wondering if she'll don the 2014 cowl & hairpiece or if they'll just recolor TLBM Batgirl's ponytail & cowl. -
Sounds like a good idea to me, I second this... Hmmm, that's rather sad to hear, as something at least like new part suggestions would seem to me to be valuable, worthwhile fan input. Then again, would Lego rather want to listen and take note of such input through an official platform of their own, such as that Lead User Lab they launched in August? What happened to that by the way?

[Poll] What's Your Favorite Modern Space Theme?
Digger of Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
You'd really be up for that, in the City theme??? That's actually really surprising coming from you. Personally, I'd want City to explore the past before they even go that far off the deep end, though I won't doubt that could potentially come to be knowing how City's been more recently... -

Why no, we haven't! Perhaps @Itaria No Shintaku might wait until we have some better idea of whether or not Series 20 is themed?
-
I do appreciate the offer, and I'll keep it mind when I have something grander that I'd like to bring forth to Ambassadors; but that's the thing, much of suggestions I've made to the Embassy's core topics would just be too trivial to forward to a second middleman (no disrespect intended), as they've usually been proposals for new parts, ideas for new playthemes, and most of all, suggestions for further Collectable Minifigure archetypes. I do wish I knew about the absence of TLG Reps here on EB much earlier, but as long as there's someone connected listening, it's at least some piece of mind.
-
I’ve long hoped that a ‘round the world’ series might come. I agree I thought the same seeing the piñata boy. Fingers crossed indeed. If it were gonna be a "themed" Series again, that'd certainly be the most ideal way to honor the Collectable Minifigure theme's legacy, showcasing its capabilities in where other themes can't go due to their limited context.
-
Isn't LAN's forum closed to Ambassadors though, or is it viewable to everyone when signed-in to their LEGO Account?
-
It is true that there sadly was very little traffic there, and I do hope many of its core topics gather much more attention now that they're here instead; but, the Embassy was kinda the closest thing EB members had to a hotline to TLG. I feel like there still should be a separate place for "petition" topics that TLG representatives can directly go to. I mean, maybe some of @CopMike's official "suggestion" topics could be pinned to the top of this subforum (if is better that they reside here), just so they won't be buried?
-
Wait, why? What's happened to warrant the dismantling of the Embassy subforum?

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
So Paul Seeley (a well-known leak source) over on Instagram has shared some set numbers and respective pricing for two upcoming LEGO Ideas sets, the first being 21322 at $199.99 (perhaps @paokus's Pirate Bay) and 21323 at $349.99 (um, the Playable Piano?). -
Future Action and Adventure Themes
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, as I've expressed here earlier, I myself would still be terribly thrilled by a post-WWI detective theme that'd essentially be Monster Fighters 2.0 with a more of a Pulp/Noir/Lovecraftian flavor... -
Yes, I did see it. We are talking about it in the Series 20 thread I see @Ashnflash gave a shoutout to your work again and your latest Series as a reference point in reporting the Piñata Boy leak...

The Nice Part Usage (NPU) Topic
Digger of Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I wouldn't exactly consider this as "clever" NPU, but I really like how well the printed canopy from Speed Champions's recent Ferrari F8 set works on this latest "Febrovery" build of Frost's... -
[Poll] What's Your Favorite Modern Space Theme?
Digger of Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I myself have always thought a Space Agents* theme would be cool to see for a change... * That is to say, Space Police meets Alpha Team/Agents/Ultra Agents. -
So, what are Leaf, IP-2 and Zebra?
Digger of Bricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
According to Paul Seeley over on Instagram (not certain though if he's the original source of this rumor), there'll be four additional sets from the codenamed theme "Zebra" under set numbers 31201 through 31204 all priced at around $119.99 (though that may not quite be the finalized price). -
[Poll] What's Your Favorite Modern Space Theme?
Digger of Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Between SPI and SPII, I've always been fonder of the first's color scheme, so the kinda throwback color scheme I'd like to see from a fourth incarnation would probably be something like Dark Azure & Dark Bluish Grey (a lightning of SPI's Black & Blue) paired with Trans-Red. -

[Poll] What's Your Favorite Modern Space Theme?
Digger of Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I feel like just the mere fusion of the two (Police, but in SPACE!) should still be enough of a draw for at least younger audiences (even in spite of Star Wars' prevalence currently). I wouldn't mind if a fourth incarnation was more like 2013's Castle theme, as it'd at least still give us some desirable canopy recolors and useful minifigures. -
[Poll] What's Your Favorite Modern Space Theme?
Digger of Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Technically those subthemes don't count under the context of this topic and the subforum it's under, but last year's Mars Expedition subtheme did kinda come close to qualifying even it is isn't a theme unto itself.
