  1. Here's @just2good's review of 10769:
  2. New Elementary - LEGO® EDUCATION SPIKE™ PRIME: NEW ELEMENTS New Elementary - MORE ON THE 3X3 TECHNIC BEAM New Elementary - MAGENTA 3X3 TECHNIC BEAM DISCOVERED
  3. Well it doesn't help if Lego has now demoted the name of the DC Comics SuperHeroes theme to a mere Bat-Insignia.
  4. Over on Instagram under the hashtag #legoleaks.
  5. I must say, the turnout and response from EB for this Series seems a bit more underwhelming than it has with previous Series.
  6. That's the thing, I feel like the seeming Lunar setting for Lego's original Classic Space sets could've influenced the look of a Lunar Expedition subtheme for City in some way, much like how Lego's Mars Mission and Ridley Scott's The Martian seemingly influenced the look of these upcoming sets. Like you suggest, it could've been as simple as mere Blue highlights for both the figures and their spacecraft as opposed to Orange. Hey, believe me, I'm not at all complaining, as I'm quite happy to see the City theme actually head this direction like I've long suggested!
  7. Huh, for all my hopes for fantastical spacecraft to come to the Three-In-One line, I've never thought of a Flying Saucer before as such! A set like that could've potentially given us some recolors/reissues of Series 6's Classic Grey Alien.
  8. There are already many, many, many well-established discussion topics spread across all the various subforums here dealing with wishlists and ideas for themes/playthemes, some more specific to certain genres/subforums, others much more broadly encompassing! As two examples of the latter, here are a couple well-established topics this discussion could've took place at instead:
  9. Oh I know, I just find it amusing that they literally took this subtheme "above and beyond" my expectations for such an extraterrestrial venture, given City's context and all. As for my hopes for a Lunar Exploration subtheme next time around, technically the look the sets can be affected by the setting they decide upon, as the Orange and White color scheme for the upcoming sets is very typical within other hypothetical depictions of Martian Expeditions. Just think of Lego's Mars Mission from 2007 and Ridley Scott's The Martian from 2015. A Lunar Expedition, on the other hand, might have ended up with a different color scheme and look for both the astronauts and their spacecraft.
  10. Oooooh, pretty nice! I really like how Classic-Styled Thor turned out in particular!
  11. Yeah, I wasn't expecting there to be an Avengers road trip in the Benatar, so that was kinda the coolest surprise for me!
  12. Fair enough, but where else may we expect to see (at the very least) generic SciFi-esque Space from Lego beyond Star Wars? Like I had said... If there is any other preexisting haven for such beyond City, Creator Three-In-One and/or Expert is pretty much it.
  13. But that therefore wouldn't be an Emerald Night re-release, but a completely new and different set altogether.
  14. Back in 2016, yes, the Friends theme had a very similar offering with 41128 Amusement Park Space Ride.
  15. Huh, alright! Will the Superheroine be more of a counterpart to the Super Kid trick-or-treater, as opposed to an outright comic book archetype? Oooooh, intriguing...
  16. Well, personally, I'd still like to see some wings like these from Lego... ...and a winged helmet like that too!
  17. As he said himself... So, until then... P.S. Thanks for publishing the public Flickr images @Robert8!
  18. BTW, for as much as I enthusiastically L-O-V-E your Adventurer design, one very tiny complaint I have about it is the color of his kerchief. Given how much brown he already has as a part of his color scheme, a contrasting color such as Olive Green or Dark Red for it instead could've helped.
  19. I have indeed seen it. I may not personally care for the theme, but your miniaturized recreation of that set is pretty spot-on!
  20. Yeah, hence why I likely fell for it.
  21. Well, for me, I loved it! It's very much a by-the-book ET/Iron Giant/Big Hero 6 type of movie, so I highly recommend it even if it does follows that formula a little too closely.
  22. By the way @Robert8, I noticed you haven't published public Flickr images for this Series yet. Is it already due to Flickr's 1000 free photo limit? Say, are these two utilizing new/nonexistent colors? I don't seem to recognize their base colors in particular. I do hope we'll be seeing actual Superhero/Superheroine CMFs in future Series as counterpart to the Supervillain!
