He. Looney Tunes is very much a male dominated field. I would be very surprised to see Tweety as anything but a small mould.

DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
RedHoodPug replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
It’s been announced that Lego will reveal something on Batman Day, unless there’s something else tucked up their sleeve the Batwing seems most likely. -
Or it is LT, as its a stretch to come up for with the full 16 without going too obscure, and the likelihood of lots of moulds is high. Having said that the rumour is for both H1 series to have 12 figures, I wonder if this is a trial for the new normal.

For the UK peeps, Smyth’s Toys have the full range including the bags in store. For whatever reason and like all lines throughout the store, some are on offer already. The sets in hand look pretty good, it has to be said.

In a break from the miasma of DA news, for all the UK bods out there who haven’t ventured out for whatever reason, I’ve just got back from Smyth’s Toys in Exeter where they have the entire summer line including the CMF, barring DA.

It’s baffling that people are so hung up about a shop being pink and that it must be a selling point for prospective female customers. English architecture has seen pink as a regular colour since time immemorial, with Suffolk having its own pink since the 14th Century. It was painted on by fabric dyers (mostly men) who weren’t thinking, “this’ll be a nice treat for the wife” but, “what happens if I put berries in the plaster wash?” Honestly if that shop was a neutral colour no one would bat an eyelid. To be contrary, I agree that some of the marketing is targeted towards a female audience, just not the colour of one shop.

This is a real bind because it’s just the sort of thing I was saying the other day was what I was more interested in. I’m sure the instructions will become available but that tile/sticker and even the box will be impossible to get otherwise. -

Yep, and he’s there with the rest of the available Super Friends. As Black Vulcan the aesthetic is way off, and I’d rather have a proper one than mod one as I don’t think the parts are appropriate or really available. -

I’m glad that they keep the CW versions as exclusives because to me they don’t translate well into minifigure form. Yes I would be delighted to see Vixen, Black Lightning, Atom, and Roy Harper in Lego and in my collection, but I’d like them to at least fit in with the rest of the crowd. I prefer the Superman, Batman, and Aquaman vignettes from previous years to these. -

It would be about time we got a set not dominated by black and yellow. Unless it’s got Black Adam in it, obviously. -

Nah, the easiest solution is include him with a gun, the way he has been depicted for 80 years. It’s not like he’ll be pictured shooting Bugs in any of the marketing. Given the violent themes that have found their way into Lego, either blatantly or more subliminally, I’m sure they can do this. The twagic iwony of Ewmew being a tewwibwy usewess huntew who can’t say his own name, ow the condition causing it, can’t be ignowed.

Used to. Wifle fits better, this is why... I didn’t realise it was a blanket ban on firearms in LT cartoons, which means Sam doesn’t get his revolvers either. If this extends to explosions poor old Wiley is out of fun too. There is still some fun to be had.

I would want my Elmer Fudd to come with his wifle, not the obscure but so-very-2020 choice of scythe. Marvin should come with K-9. I am intrigued as to whether they would give Porky flesh legs or not. Pepe should only come with a restraining order tile. If Daffy doesn’t come with a standard minifigure head and a bill part in the moustache style, I will be disappointed. Obviously at this stage all of my pleas are hypothetical, for the sake of argument

Welcome to Eurobricks. Kudos on the excellent build.

I made a Dr Poison using the swimming cap, ninja mask, Red Skull torso, skirt piece, and ironically the Wonder Woman Mighty Micro head. Likewise the Iron Man MM head is good for Dr Psycho. Obviously official versions would be preferable. I want to see Giganta, Ares and Silver Swan for starters. -

@SoupOrFishOil I must have glanced past that one, thanks. It’s not ideal but probably the best existing part. Ticks all the right boxes, I must have been tired -

Fair enough, he’s more likely and his suit is that little bit more vibrant, as much as I would like to see a properly obscure old schooler like Garret. @Moon_Knight there’s a couple of spiked shoulder armour pieces, but they are either not black or too spiky. Soon after this I got carried away by looking at the inhabitants of the various Multiverse Earths. Damn there’s scope there. -

I’m quite happy to see a similar mix of characters from the Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Modern Ages, heroes and villains, men and women. Zatanna, Hawk and Dove, Deadman, Creeper, Stripesy, Flashpoint Batman, Troia, Alan Scott, Tigress, Cyborg Superman, Rose Wilson, Barda, Orion, to name a few. -
Please, she’s being backed up by trans people who are getting called anti-trans themselves. The most prominent response to her has been an appalling display of bullying and harassment by a community that faces bullying and harassment. The level of hypocrisy is ridiculous. This subject was made off-limits by the mods for a reason, yet it rattles on.

The house elves plot line was necessary to get them involved in the Battle of Hogwarts. The Crouch plot line was necessary to get Harry to Voldemort, who mistakenly believed he needed Harry’s blood. Cutting so much of the plot, or merging elements for the films just meant that certain scenes made little sense. I’m reading HBP with my son, and so far I’m yet to find a plot line that wasn’t necessary to the whole thing.

I’m pretty sure that when the box art was being conceptualised, the looming issue of customers not being able to handle products prior to purchasing for a while, was not on the table. Claiming that the box art doesn’t represent the contents unless you turn it around is very much a first world problem. Making the customer think isn’t poor marketing.

I’m trying to figure out a proportional way of rendering the Rookie armour, particularly the rabbit ears. -

There are 11 stickers of which that is one, and one printed tile for the engine. The engine is on a 2x2 jumper plate so is removable. It’s not a bad build, but it’s proof again that Lego can design a car wide enough for two and insist on it being a single seater. Including the wheels it’s 12 wide, and 10 wide without. The new capes are made out of the original material and actually sit pretty well on the figure.
