Why is Duplo Batman so happy? I always think when the Deadpool subject comes up, Duplo Joker. On a different note, I love those new City marine pieces, they’re going to make for some good Aquaman MOCs.

I remember getting my hopes raised and gradually dashed, when the SH sets came with that booklet featuring a cartoon depicting loads of characters we still don’t have. Bizarro, Parasite, Black Adam, among others.

Rima’s a Public Domain character who was in a 1904 novel before being in a film, then DC Comics before Super Friends. She was meant to be hot property in the comics hence the inclusion in SF, and she was included in the First Wave storyline.

When he starts getting his memories back the Nightwing suit we see is the red one. Having said that he got Taloned at the end of last year and I know that the Nightwing return is heavily hinted for the end of April. If he returns in the blue suit that red one is going to be completely out of synch.

I come here seeing the topic is hot expecting new puns and all I see is talk of leaks. Owl I can say is I am otterly disharepointed.

I returned from the dark when I saw the Batman jet ski polybag, and then saw that I’d missed the original sets. Absolutely gutting knowing the prices they fetch.

The only sets I didn’t get were the Batwing, the shuttle and Wayne Manor. I know having a complete set would be nice, but I’m more inclined to BrickLink a few figures. For me the real gutting thing is that that was our only real chance to get awful lot of those characters. A sequel would have been dynamite if they mined any further.

When he got uncomfortably close to Arisia Rrab. She was introduced as being 13 and he mentored her. She then (I think) somehow got her Lantern ring to physically age her, and things got properly weird.

Joker didn’t rape Barbara Gordon. On the other hand we do have a minifigure of Tarantula II, who did rape Nightwing. There’s infanticide by Black Manta, total genocide by Lobo, paedophilia by Hal Jordan, vivisection by Hugo Strange, global tyranny by Sinestro, and cruel murders and torture by just about every other villain on the Lego DC roster. Maybe the issue with Deadpool is licence based rather than censorship based.

Not really, as has been discussed on these boards many times before, just because it appears in a book doesn’t mean that it’s going to appear in a set. They have the same credence as the video games. The books are published by associate companies that have a certain amount of free creative rein.

I saw something that suggested that either Sue or the whole F4 would be found in the quantum realm, which is kinda lazy having already used that trope already. As long as the Defenders and all of the world’s mutant population aren’t in there too.

I really like those claws and have done since they first appeared. So many characters could use them. It’s be fitting if it did happen, as DC seems to spearhead the new SH moulds.

Having now seen the Captain Marvel helmet with the white eyes, I can’t help but wonder why they didn’t go with this for Batman, instead of the weird headband and weird eye placement.

WandaVision had its wrap party, but F&WS has not finished filming. Given how difficult it is to restart filming after a short break, I would be surprised if this started up straight away. Whether they have enough completed episodes to release half a series, I don’t know.

I’d be quite happy if story progression meant that some crossovers appeared naturally, assuming they were feasible. Characters stick to their own titles for the most part, so they can behave like that on screen.

I don’t know about set details but I do know that the series’s have been pushed back into next year, and if other themes are anything to go by then they will be pushed back too.

There never was a DCEU. That was fanfic for the related films, but when JL turned into a too many cooks scenario Warner put an end to this shared universe idea and birthed Worlds of DC. Now they exist in their own spaces, and if success beckons then maybe they will do a crossover. I think the only ones due to do that anyway are Shazam and Black Adam, which is obvious and would benefit from a drawn out process. I don’t know that there are any others that will, maybe some of the Batcentric ones. It’s a shame they rushed the franchise, really.

Ignore me, we’ve been binge watching the films and reading the books with my son, I’ve mixed up about three plot lines about leaving Privet Drive. I’d got it into my head that it was the floo powder scene because of the fireplace. Too much time on my hands
