British Airways are in real trouble, Virgin Atlantic has asked the UK government for a massive, billion-sized bale out. The cost of this is going to be vast, and quite long lasting. Another issue is that the world isn’t suddenly going to be rid of it at the same time, so we’re going to have to wait until the last country has got it under control. It’s going to be a faff, which I realise is an understatement.

There was a rumour, you vehemently denied its mere plausibility, now it’s turned out to be true and your saying it was inevitable like you always felt that way. It’s ok to be wrong.

The CMF rumour came from misunderstanding the polybag part of the set rundown. The sources of information haven’t mentioned CMF, only the over keen.

Not only have you defied the space available and got the details in that you have, but also the use of smooth surfaces and studwork really highlights the marine engineering element. My only critique - and it pains me to say it because this is such a good build - is that it looks like new. I’m not up enough on my brick knowledge to say what would work best for tired driftwood, so I’ll leave it on a high and say well done.

If they do make it I would prefer it to be a two seater, especially with the rumour that the Racers are going to be made that way. I’m glad they’ve gone with that style of car, it’s different enough to the previous tanks.

Interesting theory. There may be some weight behind it. Don’t get me started on the last part. The Injustice Gang is criminally understaffed.

As I have opined before, I would love to see Man-Bat with more appropriate wings or ideally a comic accurate figure.

Fair enough, thanks. I do wonder how far along the concept got before this news came. Either it’s always been this way and it was wishful thinking from the start, or they pull a reserve design out of mothballs, or they change release orders round. I don’t know how long the drawing board to reveal timeframe is, but it must be galling if there is dramatic change to the schedule.

The storyline implied that he has his memories back but is keeping the name Ric. Also when his memories started to return the emphasis was on the red suit. I really hope that rumour stays that way.

I wouldn’t say that whitewashing is being inclusive. It’s quite literally the opposite. But done the other way round and it’s pandering apparently.

Likewise I think some of the proposed character designs are cool, and different yet recognisable enough. It all looked very promising at the end of Doomsday Clock with the prophesied crossover, but if AT&T were tough enough to fire DiDio because they don’t like the idea of it then the future is bleak. Some contradicting reports and speculations out there, the one I like least is DC being bought by Marvel. Dang, I was getting excited at the prospect of modding a Death Metal Trinity, not getting bummed out at the prospect of a landscape change I don’t want.

It must be frustrating, the Joker is somewhat understandable as he has been around a really long time and is Batman’s arch enemy. Venom has been around for 30 odd years and is coming off the back of a big storyline, but he’s not the arch enemy. Most lists have him scraping the top ten. That and the Venom crawler was such a cop out.

Most Batsuits have been grey with either blue or black contrast. The suit movie had to be black otherwise the joke wouldn’t work. We’ve seen a glimpse of the new suit, but as it was under a red light the level of darkness was not easy to ascertain.

It’s still going to be down to how the characters are promoted. DC put their efforts into the Trinity, Flash, Joker, and Harley first. Even with popular films behind them Aquaman and Shazam haven’t been pushed harder. Green Lantern does sell, but it doesn’t sell as well as Batman because he’s the main man and gets the biggest push.

They released one GL set, and it had an exclusive Batman in it. Then there was the BYOA book, which wasn’t just a build and a figure so any sales records wouldn’t be definitive. Then Jessica came with a DVD, and Simon in a minifigure series. BrickLink currently has 92 individual Batman figures listed. Batman also has 20 years on the GLC. They’re not exactly comparable.

If DC was Star Wars then yes. But we had Batman’s 80th and aside from the UCS Batmobile the corresponding wave was pants, so a Green Lantern nod is unlikely unfortunately.

It spawned out of Dark Nights: Metal, which is exploring the Dark Multiverse. It makes for an interesting take on the Lantern spectrum and helps broaden that area. If you go to Flash’s Wikipedia page and go to other versions you’ll find the different iterations, albeit Barry Allen ones.
