  1. Yes it does, try actually looking at my videos/images
  2. Woohoo: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/178TXg35fQ0P1YrnzoexvSfLw8UqunwEd As I was saying a few replies back, it would be nice if we could mesh together two axles that are 2x2 diagonally offset, luckily the new 12 tooth gear does just that with an 8 tooth gear (though the teeth only just mesh). Also some other ideas are in the link above including seeing if a chain works with the new 12 and 20 tooth gears (it does), @Mr Jos, as long as the axles have a spacing that is even, if it's odd, it sort of works but is slack). Also, 2 of the harley davidon rims fit in the 42143 Ferrari daytona sp3 tires: But you must use a 2L spacer and even then the rims can collapse in so it would be better to additionally use either: 4 of these curved gear rack quarters or one of these 11L rings in Dark Bluish Gray (new recolor for august 2022 in this set) This will keep the rims from collapsing in on themselves because it fills the gap. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/17AEB3J1MCTU8TI4DJMjmKYf7TKaxqoRh?sort=13&direction=a
  3. FOUR SETS. What I am saying is maybe they already have a secret 4th set like they did with the technic batmobile. they just kept it a secret as well as the fact that the liebherr crane is being delayed (maybe) If not, I won't be happy because in 2h 2019 they released the spider crane, the car transporter, the lieber 42100 AND the land rover, AND they previewed the SPIKE PRIME system which some people managed to get early but it was eventually delayed. so thats like 4/5 sets. and 3 of them were BIG (land rover, lieber, car transporter) After all, when I buy lego, some of what I pay is just for the 'brand' itself - I'm not paying them to make fewer sets.
  4. I don't have them but they are coming in a bricks and pieces order. Yes unlike the 6L links the ball joint is only single sided but I should be able to work around that. I'll post my progress after I build the original set then mod it.
  5. This does not really need its own thread so I decided that this thread would be best to post it in, but you can also import .io models directly LDCAD by opening the io file in WINRAR, and extracting model.ldr. For a while I thought that the password was just garbage data being treat as a password because it happned to be in the same section of the file that WINRAR uses to check if the archive has a password, and what it is (in encrypted form) but turns out I was wrong, the password is actually just soho0909. I found the password from this souce after extensive googling: https://www.mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/853
  6. Maybe minifig utensil rings, they are 0.4L thick though but are shiny gold :) and 5 of them stacked is 2L in height (0.4 * 5) If the axle has a stop then the stop is 0/1L and then if you add that to a single minifig utensil ring which is 0.4L you will get 0.5L. Same applies for the stop on an axle pin, or on a regular pin. If I had an image of your model it would help greatly. because you may be able to just swap the axle with a bar, or a rigid 3mm hose cut to a weird length.
  7. lego released 2 models for August (the Ferrari is good but for reasons that are not TLGs fault, I have to wait until august 1st to get the ferrari, my parcel got lost) I am also getting the helicopter on the 10th of august. The material handler is no good as a 2H set especically for its price. SO NO. I WANT 4 SETS!! I am not saying it has to be a huge set either, getting the technic batmobile was a nice suprise enough because ot the parts in new colors / parts pack. - that was not a big set nor was it feature heavy (but please do make it feature heavy) 4 SETS.
  8. LEGO better make a third model for later this year, since the lieberr crane is now delayed untill next year.
  9. I have used this website to find rare .io files very often, such as the UCS NASA space shuttle, way before anyone else made an IO file: https://fogeyman.tistory.com/1300 direct link: https://blog.kakaocdn.net/dn/rlAUp/btrfRDhD6od/YHMx2vUfQDADk5UPPNQHf1/42128.io?attach=1&knm=tfile.io
  10. I also wanted to reduce the height, so I'm gonna try replacing the 6L links with the "3L link with pinhole and ball joint" (6571) which is actually a steering hub.
  11. Here is something I have wanted to do for a while, hide the axle that connects to the tail rotor. Keeping the neon yellow color, while still also making the tail fin angled, was tricky. I first thought I could just use a neon yellow 3x7 panel with an axle going thru it and attach some neon yellow system slopes to it, but the slopes were at too obtuse of an angle and they looked awful, and the 3x7 panel also is ugly on one side unlike the tapered panel.. So then I had a eureka moment and decided to use the tapered panel, but flip it vertically 180 degrees, rotate it a bit and then hide the axle within an extension of it that is made out of a very limited availablility of technic parts in neon yellow. I have yet to build it as well as build the set but this could work. If I replace the 5L liftarm from the top with a 3L and 2L liftarm then the tail fin will also be able to pivot side to side, though the real helicopter does not do that.
  12. I'm afraid that is does indeed rub against the clutch ring, However it does not rub against a clutch ring extension. A 16 tooth gear fits though. There's also this trick which saves 0.5L space: Or try using the new 14 tooth gears as regular spur gears/bevel gear but without the 22 tooth couterpart. Three 8 tooth gears like in 42113 is still more compact however Regards, Snipe
  13. I already tried that, it orks just fine because I used the white 3L axle pin instead of a 3l axle which can slide out. I even added a 4th clutch ring for an extra function and hooked itup to an PF XL motor.
  14. Yes, sorry, 10 tooth and 12 tooh, not 8 tooth and 10 tooth and low friction, a 12 and 12 tooth is almost impossible to rotate in this setup.
  15. a 10 tooth would be more useful because it can connect two axles that are spaced like so: The ratio would be 8:10 because it meshes with an 8 tooth gear.
  16. Too expensive no motor upgradability, not enough functions/mechanisms, poor steering.
  17. Not mine, but: https://blog.kakaocdn.net/dn/bK31V0/btrp6cVEes3/kSBHRwOG3s8pUnszn7rLM1/42127.io?attach=1&knm=tfile.io This website actually has a lot of otherwise non existant .IO files, for example I got the .io file for the 10283 UCS space shuttle ages before anyone else made it in digital form.
  18. Yes, the dumb hub/battery box has an axle coming out of one switch which is blocked by the slide rail for the side door. The other 2 functions can independantly be reversed via their clucth rings in the gearbox, and the third funcrtion (the blades) has a HI/OFF/LO selecetor again using a clutch ring. Hope this clears everything up.
  19. The solution is to get the Pimp My Sian gearbox, take out the 16/24 tooth differential and replce the 12/20 tooth double bevel gears with the new blue 12/20 toth gearss. This gearbox already has a shift block if I recall correctly. Then just slide it into the ferrari, it is the exact same dimentions.
  20. minifig utensil rings in light bluish gray (useful to place over pins and axles) edit: never mind, it is some brand I never heard of called bluebricks and the video was in german
  21. I agree with the above part, but the axle hole should look like most axle holes where you can put an 8 or 24 or 40 tooth gear beside it and the cutout allows the gears teeth to rotate, clear of catching on the axle hole.
