You know, if you move the two buwizzes outwards there is 3L, enough space in which to move the steering motor, and then there should be room for a drive-neutural-reverse selector. This is my idea when I finish the model. I'm on the page where you add the bevel gear pairs for the steering wheel currently. Maybe the real car does not have a dedicated DNR selector lever and its built into the flappy paddle shifter unit but oh well :P

Sounds like a challenging project but i'm interested in this for sure, an F1 car with a bunch of features. Might I suggest using the new upcoming gear sizes when they come out? this should shrink the size of the 8 speed gearbox because fewer gears are needed in different combinations to get 8 unique ratios. I also wonder if this part could work as a orange rotary catch but where it engages 1,2,3 or 4 clutch rings in the same direction, instead of opposite like the orange clutch ring. Also this has 4 prongs where as the orange rotary catch has 2.

Because in order for it to have any use you would have to have two axles in series that can be meshed or unmeshed using this gear and a clutch. but if both axles are driven then the clutch will get put under stress because the teeth on the clutch wont always be alighned or moving at the same speed. You could do as you explained in a few ways anyhow, without needing such gears.

I think I have cracked it, and in the least likley way, Prior to adding the 7L axles and 2L axle joiners, it was very weak and would bend under its own weight when placed vertically or horizontally. I did consider using axles but they can be quite weak, get bent, or get twisted so I didn't bother for months. But a few days ago I added them on a whim and it worked wonders: It still does bend when laid horizontally because the axles can come out but I have a metal tube that goes through the middle of the H frames anyhow I could replace the axles with liftarms but this thing is a nightmare to work on because it's all form locked and it will bust your fingers or fingernails. if I use beams not axles I should be able to ditch the cheat-y metal tube. That's all for now. Oh wait I almost moved the endmost H frames outwards more so that the drive motors dont need to be inside of the rings, this means I have more room!. Regards, snipe.

Ok, it isn't exactually fully independant suspention, it's 3 pendular axles with springs. -

The functions in this set are amazing for its size: Six wheels with 6 new-ish tyres Two differentials, connected to engine. Full independent suspension on all 6 wheels wheels via 6 soft 6.5L shocks Working 2 cylinder engine Working 2 speed + neutral gearbox , connected to engine Working winch with saftey ratchet / quick release Tipping cargo bed with opening tailgate Working steering connected to handlebars Also, white curved 'seat' panels x4 and fake lights and disc brake levers, etc Definitely buying this. -
This thread has been created because of a large rise in Lego YouTube thieves; I normally would PM the video owner on eurobricks (if they even were on euro bricks) and also used to use the stolen MOCs reporting thread over in the technic forum but this has gotten out of hand. I should not have to see this crap cluttering up YouTube when I search for lego related queries by upload date nor should I have to constantly waste my life reporting it to YouTube to no avail/ It is not just about the lego models that are stolen but also the time, effort and money put into making the lego videos. So if anyone comes across another THIEF feel free to post it here and/or PM the owner of the video if possible (I probably will PM them anyhow). Here's two to start, who have littered YouTube with pages and pages of stolen videos from: @grohl, brunojj1, puzzlego, jk brickworks, brick bending, and many other popular YouTube channels. (I could only tag 1 user max for some reason when editing this thread) I'll edit this topic instead of making many replies to keep it clean. Some points from previous supercars: It would be nice if they continued with the tradition of having a front and rear differential, but if they are , PLEASE add a center differential, its 3 extra pieces for a much more interesting model. I also expect to see the new diffs, not the wobbly old ones. I hope to see a lot of alternating hole beams, dogbones, biscuit joints, frames (all 3 sizes), etc Again, a working 8 speed gearbox, flappy paddle shifter, and DNR selector. Suspention all round and working engine. Opening doors and movable spoiler, both with a proper mechanism, not just a simple hinge, so that it can be motorized. A simple opening front and engine cover (a simple hinge will suffice here) Here's the big one, that a lot of people will want: OBVIOUS points where a motor would go! you don't even have to include motors in the set, or instructios on how to Add them as a "motor expantion pack" because it will be obvious enough based on having a 1L axle and pins in a + shape. This would make me very happy and a lot of others, it also means that people wont be mislead into thinking that the set comes with motors in the box. Imagine having the features of a sian, but where you can RC the drive, steering, gear change, doors, and spoiler and without being a yob and ripping out the engine and/or gearbox. I know it's possible because i've seen MOCs with 9 motors in, and this was before we had alternating hole beams, and the new spike prime parts. Also this MOC was a tad smaller than say the 42115 SIAN so theres more room if it is the same size as the SIAN. Don't want to have motors? simply leave them out. A for the hub, well, that's a tricky one, it would have to have 2 slots where you can put a robot inventor brick (you can, instead, unofficially put 2 buwizzes in the same space) 6 ports should be fine, or 8 if using BUWIZZ 2 and 10 if its BUWIZZ 3 -

ive thought of several uses for this part, like putting the end of the spiral pole in a motor and attaching the nut that goes on the spiral pole, then attaching the nut to a carrier which contains felt tips which are individually pushed down onto the paper via a bunch of linkages that are motorized so in other words a plotter :) I also wanted to make a CURTA but I would have to use base 8 or 12 since lego does not make 10 tooth gears for base 10 (eg. decimal).- 5,466 replies

Unfortunatley part 45607c01 is still out of stock in the UK -i.e it has never been available for individual purchase yet, you have to (still, months later) buy the whole new spike prime sete to get these small angular motors. I hope lego makes them in gray like they did for control+. 23421 and other parts is also out of stock still- 5,466 replies
