Yeah the Ninjago stuff is going to be very useful. The wolf/fox is going to be a nice addition to the many lego animals. I can't wait to get the sets and start customizing minifigs and MOCing with the new pieces. I'm planning on getting all the sets. Also the upcoming Harry Potter sets sound like they will have a lot of great parts to like the Horntail, Patronus, and other new pieces coming. I'm planning on getting several of those too and probably multiples. It's going to be an expensive year for me with all the sets I want to get but should produce some great building and minifigs. -

Very nice throne room. I like the columns and arches, reminds me of dwarvish architecture. I think the dragon behind the throne is a great idea. Nice windows and lighting too. -
Wonderful throne room. I like the windows, especially the lattice work. The arches behind the throne look good. The throne itself is pretty cool. Love the dragon heads. The floor looks really nice. Great figs also.

Lego Ideas Support Thread - Historical/Castle

Great to hear, hope to see what you come up with. Some of the castle stuff on ideas are nice but I'm really waiting for someone to wow us and show lego castle is still a strong presence within the community.- 532 replies

Great job the buildings compliment each other nicely. The blacksmiths shop looks good, I like the wood and stone together. I like the use of the lattice windows. The barn is a neat looking building. I like the use of the stone, and the way you put windows up high on the walls. It's a nice village you've started here.

REVIEW: 71024 LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Disney Series 2
zoth33 replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the review. Some great characters like Jack, Jafar, Hades, Sally, Hercules, Chip and Dale. Definitely getting several of these and multiples of many of them too. -
Great Moc. Castle is really nice, I like the vines on the walls. I also like the rockwork around the castle. The fountain and horse stable are a nice touch. The houses all look good with the different colors. I really like the stone barn for the cows and pigs. The landscaping is good, my only criticism is all the 1x2 tan plates seem a little out off place maybe some more tan plates of different sizes to fill in would look better. The snot river looks good. The wall is built well. Those are some nice armies you have also.

Very nice wall section. Simple but just enough texture. I like the wooden buildings on the interior of the wall. Nice use of the plates on the ground. Great looking figs too.

Really nice base. I like the use of the cheese slopes for siding on the house, makes it look like cedar shakes. I like the porch and the roof looks really nice. Cool figs too. -

Yeah lots of great parts there in that set. All the sand green and earth green pieces are going to be very useful. That purple tophat is nice too. On another note that ice dragon in the Ninjago line looks good probably will mod it to my liking. The Ice castle looks good too, lots of useful parts and pieces. -
I think the new wave is fine. There are some great figs, new moulds for buckbeak and a stag. I remember the old waves these 2 waves so far are vastly superior. I really would love to see a leak of the Horntail hopefully soon.
-
The sets are interesting looking. I need better quality pictures to see things more clearly. The Ice Emperor's castle does look good so far and the dragon looks good. The figs are still the best looking things so far.

Hello Great job. So much great stuff going on here. I love the beach, the rock work is excellent. The buildings have many intricate parts and texturing. The stonework on the wall is just lovely. The roof designs are nicely done. I really like the boat being built. Nice sand castle, guy doing the wood sculpture and brick built horses are all neat details. I also love the custom figs. Do you have any other pictures of the build its hard to see all the details of this amazing build?- 60 replies

This is great it has that old school feel combined with newer techniques. The irregular base is nice. I like the texturing on the tower. I also like the use of the lattice windows on the Inn. The old school figs are great.

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion
zoth33 replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
I get what everyone is saying and I'm not saying you can't be unsatisfied with what lego is doing. I get the arguement about dual molding, printing on legs and arms, some builds don't seem up to par with others etc. We don't know the designers personally and why they make the choices they do. There are a lot of factors that go into creating and designing sets like budget, size, licensed material used for concepts of sets, time constraints, pieces available, etc. We don't know what pressure a designer is under to get their product out. I'm old school born in 1978 and used to the old smiley face lego figs and the limited parts and colors we used to have and seeing what Lego has grown into is amazing. I would never have dreamed to see the type of sets we have now. I have well over a thousand figs and I don't even know how many pieces I have but I have several bins worth and it's just fun creating new figs and MOC's. That's why I love Lego and still build things. I also build things with my boys and make castles and have battles. I know there are some sets and figs that just don't look good. I also get the that people want what they want like Pluto and others but sometimes it's taxing just reading through pages of people saying where's Pluto and why Huey Dewey and Louie are there instead of Goofy or Pluto. But we can't get everything we want that's life and sometimes you just have to roll with it. There is plenty of time to get Pluto. If the designers job was easy all of us here at Eurobricks would be designers but that's not the case. This a hobby for most us some people here do work for Lego. Like I've said before it's a toy made for and targeted towards kids for the most part. I just don't see what the attraction in complaining about a toy, there are just to many other things in this world that need to be addressed than wether or not Lego makes your favorite Disney character. I grew up watching Disney and love alot of the characters too, but it doesn't bother me that bad wether we get Pluto or Goofy. All I'm saying is there is a lot of negativity here and I come here to get away from the crap this world has become lately but sometimes it just seems to much.- 961 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
zoth33 replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sets look great gonna definitely pick up the Hydro-man attack. The build is wonderful. Molten-Man looks pretty neat too. I think Jon Favreau is generic looking anyway so I don't mind him looking that way and I can customize him to my liking if need be. This year is going to be so expensive lego wise for me.
