Neat idea. Band looks good on the spooky stage. I like the crowd and the variation in figs you have here. All the little transactions are a nice touch too.

Challenge II: Category A: Grain for Arkbri Orcs
zoth33 replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great little scene here. I really like the way you did the trees with the piece from the city sets and the brown horn pieces, really give off that mangled half dead feel. I like the landscape with the brown and tan grass pieces too. Nice job with the figs and great story. -

I really like your stonework here, especially the irregular bottom section. The door and wall have that Dwarvish feel to it. What is the round piece in the center with the symbol on it from I don't remember seeing that before? -

Nice little scene. I like the fire and the landscaping with the tree. Nice story also. -
Really interesting color choices on the buildings, I think the purple works well here. The tile roofs are great. The arches throughout the build are excellent. I like the flower garden and the different vines and flowers in the build. The figs are great too.

This is just awesome. I love the texturing and colors of all the buildings. Each building has it's own style yet they all blend well together. The touches of plants throughout the build are great, make the scene come to life, especially the two round stone sections by the water really great idea. The little things going on the streets is great too. I like the two guys with the table of money, the lion guys watching the game, and the other different people watching the game really bring the scene to life. Excellent job overall.

Challenge II - Category B - Mid-Spring Festival in Bluevale
zoth33 replied to Bracari's topic in Guilds of Historica
Interesting scene, I like all the vendors at the festival. The pole is a neat idea. There alot of figs and several different things going on, I think if it was spread out more it would look a little better and the groundwork is a little one note. -
Great architecture. I like the wooden windows that slide out. The Arches are wonderful and the use of the masonry bricks gives it a nice weathered feel. I like the way you posed the two figs with the capes in the background.

I like the dwarven architecture, like mccoyed said the irregular ceiling is a nice touch. I like the use of the irregular tiles with the 1x1 plate inverted on the second floor of the build.

Good build. I like the arched hallway and the tapestries and other details like pots and furniture throughout the scene. Really nice story and great figs too.

Nice little scene. Good use of the bamboo pieces and lovely vegetation. Nice mixture of figs too. -
Very nice, I like the texturing on the tower and the rockwork is nicely done. I like the water feature and the little bits of snow. And of course very nice figs.
-
Lovely little build. I like the landscaping. Although the quarry seems a little small, its gonna take a while to get enough stone out of there. Nice idea though.

Challenge II: Category A: The first horse cart south
zoth33 replied to dalle's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice building, I like the upper wooden section. The stone bottom is a little blocky with the 2x1 plates on the outside but nice build overall. -
Wonderfully done. The landscaping is great with all the layered plates and vegetation. The tree is very nice. I really like your rockwork and the slope leading up to the tower. The tower itself has some nice tecturing and nice job on the door too.

Nice little build I like the irregular roof and shack like size of the build. That is a lot of animals for one guy

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
zoth33 replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
You contradict yourself in this comment. We have no idea what the budget was and we have a lot left to see. It's not being lazy if there are budget and time constrictions. I think everything we've seen so far looks great. I think alot of you guys are spoiled by lego's recent minifig designs. I remember the days of generic heads, limited torso prints and limited helms/helmets etc. I'm just happy to be getting my favorite superhero's in my favorite hobby. I never thought we would get lord of the rings and we did. I really can't wait to see what they design next. The amount of new moulds they come out with every year now is ridiculous. I think whatever we get is fine with me I just love building and MOCing so whatever we get is welcome. -
Cool Build. I like the rockwork and the tower looks good especially with the spikes. Nice job with all your builds so far.

Once again you've done a nice job. I really like what you did with the battlements. I like the large spike pieces on the outside of the wall. I like the use of the grated windows. And of course all the old school figs are just awesome I wish I had that many. -
Nice Job. I have both these sets, its a nice representaion of both sets using some newer pieces. Brings back memories, love all the forestman. Welcome to Eurobricks.
