Interesting build. I like the rockwork technique, looks really good. The tree is pretty cool too. The building has some nice texturing. The figs are great especially the feature with the blast pieces.

Nice scene. The towers have some nice texturing, the snot groundwork looks good. I like the roof of the house and the tan masonry bricks in the house. Love all the old school figs.

Book III Challenge II - Bread, Water and Drums

Lovely build. The well is nice and the landscaping is really good. I like the grassy area with the flowers, looks fantastic. The building is excellent, has some nice color variation on the walls and the door looks great. The roof is what really stands out to me with the different colored tiles giving it a weathered mossy type look, I think that is the best part of the build. The figs are great too, with a nice story to accompany the build.- 22 replies

Very nice build. I really like all the arches especially the double ones and all the little details and touches on top of the walls. I really like the aqua colored pieces on top of the two towers and the accent around the middle piece, matches nicely with the door. The tree is a nice touch too. All of the figs taking their goods around makes for a lively scene well done.

Nice scene. I like the angled wall panels kind of gives a ramshackle feel to the interior. The uneven floor also adds to the charm along with all the odd different pieces in the room like the blue chima ball, the globe, the books lying around, etc. The story is a little hard to follow with the different circumstances.

Nice brick built camel. I agree that the base is a little off. I think a bigger base of tan and brown plates would be better. Figs are nice though.

Really great set. I wish it was available in the US. Very nice details and functions.

Nice Job. Theres not much to critique except I wish there were more pictures. The sloped walls with the stone corners are fantastic and the tile roof is great. The color variation in the walls make a nice visual. The chimney has nice texture. The landscaping is well done, I like the trees and the pathways fits right in. The figs look good too.

Nice little boat. I like the hull and simple design although the top seems a bit open for those boxes LOL.

Nice job. I like the dwarven door, the design on the light grey is really great. The snot rockwork look incredible. Really nice figs too.

Great build. I really like the architecture, especially the arches, color choices and different scenes. The landscaping is really good, I like the trees the small ones at the top are neat. The rockwork is nicely done. The water feature has some nice piece usage. The figs are very interesting too.

Nice job. I like the keep but I agree with en_zoo on the variation on the wall, maybe throw in some light grey bricks or sand green. The roof is very nice and I like the battlements on top of the tower. The story is good, I like the sound of the order of the iron circle. Good job with the figs too.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

I think the possibilities are endless with what they've come out with recently. I'm just hoping lego sees all these fantasy adventure movies coming out and the LOTR show coming and see the obvious passion people have for this kind of material. I hope they are working on something now that will be exciting and possibly have a show to tie into a line of sets. -
Great build. Nice use of the Ninjago egg pieces and the spinner piece on the back work really well here. The overall design is very interesting, from above kind of looks like a star. The choice of tan I think is a really good idea as its not to bright but has enough color to not be boring either.

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

Emmet's Dream House has a lot of generic bricks of the same color. Sweet Mayhem's Starship might be due to some pieces in different colors and maybe the fact that Sweet Mayhem herself has a large new mold for the minidoll. I'm looking forward to pick up some of these soon as my walmart has almost all of them. -
This is nice. The rock outcroppings are a really nice detail, they give another dimesion to the build. The tree is nicely done. The path looks good and the irregular base is really good with all the plates. Good job.

Great idea, I love the forestman's hideout and the trees look good. I like the fact that you have them sticking out the hideout. The Tudor style buildings are nice. The figs are great, love the old factions. The only thing I'm not sure about is the 2x2 rounds as coblestone, maybe 2x2 round plates would better.
-
Great scene. I like the pathway and the landscaping especially the way you placed the trees. Is that a forestman in the bottom corner by the water feature which is a nice touch. The mill is great, the roof is great and the colors work really well. The action with the figs is wonderful. Great job.

That's nice I picked up that set too. The helm is great, I'm not sure what torso I'm going to use yet. The Sakaraan torso does look good. It will be interesting to see what people come up with. -
Wow this is impressive. I love all the robots and the base itself is fantastic. I like all the bots working and the tubes. Nice use of the LOTR printed tiles too.
-
Really like the dragon, The dark green is nice with the brown legs and black belly. The base give it a extra splash of color. Nicely done.
