Another excellent series. The wraith, Anubis, and tombstone are my favorites. A lot of details and the head prints are fantastic. The knight, marionette guy, muse, and herald are also really good. Shower time guy is pretty funny. Great job keep up the good work.

Nice castle. I like the battlements. There is enough color variation to break things up. The wooden parts are nicely done and add a different vibe to the castle. The landscaping and rockwork look pretty good. I like the trees. The figs are neat and good story to go along with the build.

CHALLENGE III: Category A: Story of the traveler
zoth33 replied to Zilmrud's topic in Guilds of Historica
Excellent job here. The camera angles and photography are great. The narrow street and the buildings look great, I love the texturing of the buildings. The cobblestone streets look nice. The portal with the demons is really cool looking in the background. All your figs look fantastic. The story is developing nicely. -
Love the stonework on the mill. The windmill itself is really nice, like the use of the capes. The dark red roofs look great. I like the landscaping with the different flowers and grasses all around the base. The tree is very nice too.

Really lovely build. I like the texturing in the wall by using plates and bricks. The scaffolds are well done. The arches are a nice touch. The battlement look great with the gold accents and the dragon hilts used for dumping fluid on enemies below is a great idea. The rockwork below is great, along with the layering of the dark green plates. The tree is fantastic, especially the roots draping over the side. Excellent looking figs to support the build.

Great army of orc's richchie. I like the base you have done for them. I wish I had that many orcs I only have about 50 total. Really nice display.

Very nice work. I like the archways, the pillars have nice detailing. The colored windows are a nice touch. The lamps on the stairway are a neat idea. I really like your figs and nice story too. -
Exactly the Patronus set is going to be a great army builder. Hagrids hut looks outstanding, the buckbeak looks great. I want to use the buckbeak as a mount for some of my Elvish figs. I'm already using the Thestral for my demon army.

The sets will come when they come. No use complaining lego is not going to release them any sooner in the US as they already have their release dates set. The sets look great and i would love to have them next week but they are not coming here until August maybe July at the earliest. I think I can hold out till then just by building MOC's and the Ninjago line i think releases here in June.

I like the castle. The texturing in the wall is nicely done. I like the little spots in the wall that have holes giving it that nice weathered look. The only thing that looks off is the 1x2 plates don't seem to fit with the rest of the texturing you've done. The roof and the windows are nicely done too. I like the rockwork at the base and the way you did the water. Nice figs too.

Yeah hopefully they will come in some different sets. I don't think I will be buying that set. I'm sure they will be on brick link soon too. -
Mature Themes We'd Like to See (discussion, rumour, wishful thinking)
zoth33 replied to legoSDR's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh yeah Elder Scrolls would be awesome, there is so much content there and with the new Elswyer chapter coming out. The dragons alone would be enough for me. But the many different races and creatures in the game would be insane to get. Ever since The Hobbit/LOTR line ended I've been wanting that fantasy adventure void filled. Harry Potter and the Elves lines have some great stuff I just need that something extra that Elder Scrolls/GOT/WOW/ DrangonLance/ Forgotten Realms etc would bring to the table. Or even WarHammer or League of Legends would be good too. -

The August Harry Potter sets have some great parts especially the deatheater with the black hat, The torso's and prints look good to on all the figs in those two sets. The pegasi are always welcome. -
I really love the Ghoul and Valkyrie, those are the two best in this series in my opinion. That Valkyrie is just killer, I would love an army of those. Alot of the other designs are really good just not my cup of tea. I do like the writer, the snowman, and the card guard. You do great work can't wait for the rest. I really hope lego asks you for your Valkyrie design that would be great to see in a CMF.

zoth33 replied to Louis of Nutwood's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice keep. I like the stone work and the texturing on the walls. The wooden parts on the battlements are a nice touch. I really like your trees, they have a nice squatty look to them making them unique looking. I also like your snowscaping, especially the section next to wall at the base of the green leaf tree. Excellent story too.- 31 replies

Very nice farm. I really like your landscaping. The water feature is great, I like how you added the the three leaf plants in the water area it looks like a wetland. The trees look stellar. The farm itself is neat and clean. I like the tile roofs. The cow stalls look good and I like the way you put it at an angle. Another neat detail is all the flowers in bloom. Fun story too.

Great bridge. I like the look, its sleek and clean. The water could use a little more variation. I like the landscaping, the trees look good. I also like the different colors for the ground cover. The wagon looks nice, I like the canopy. Neat figs too.

Definitely getting the patronus set and multiples of it for the dementor's and stag. Hagrid's Hut looks great too, I love all the details especially that pumpkin patch. The Buckbeak looks fantastic. The clock tower looks great too, figs look great and interior has some great details. The Horntail is going to get some modding to make it look better. Probably going to wait for the bus to go on sale to buy.

Yeah the Ninjago stuff is going to be very useful. The wolf/fox is going to be a nice addition to the many lego animals. I can't wait to get the sets and start customizing minifigs and MOCing with the new pieces. I'm planning on getting all the sets. Also the upcoming Harry Potter sets sound like they will have a lot of great parts to like the Horntail, Patronus, and other new pieces coming. I'm planning on getting several of those too and probably multiples. It's going to be an expensive year for me with all the sets I want to get but should produce some great building and minifigs. -

Very nice throne room. I like the columns and arches, reminds me of dwarvish architecture. I think the dragon behind the throne is a great idea. Nice windows and lighting too.
