  1. Any one mad enough to build this...?
  2. ...of warship USS Missouri only to be beaten by just inches by American rival. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3211458/Fisherman-51-spent-three-years-building-world-s-biggest-Lego-model-warship-USS-Missouri-beaten-just-inches-American-rival.html What would you do? Me, I'd have to laugh else I think I might just cry! But what an amazing collection of build he has.
  3. Thought your last one was great. This one's phenomenal!
  4. I don't know how you did it but I'm glad you did. It's truly awesome.
  5. If I told you that I'd have to hunt you down & run over your toes
  6. Just got an 8110 for £48. This means I now have back all those sets I so foolishly sold
  7. 10 : 10 14 : 6 11: 4 9: 3 13 : 2 15 : 1 Good luck one and all.
  8. A very good model with a most surprising transformation.
  9. Without doubt the best entry I've seen yet. Very creative & highly original.
  10. The 8258 was my first Technic build taking over 20 weeks. I loved the set but sadly & for reasons I'm still not sure of let alone understand, I sold it (along with a couple of others which I've managed to get again) and have really regretted it ever since. I'm more than happy to have another set back in my collection.
  11. Today bought a complete 8258 for £40 from a local house clearance company. Edit: Corrected typo.
  12. Looks really great. Love the transformation, be great to see a video.
  13. I prefer rummaging through a box full of parts, I find it adds to the frustration
  14. Thank you. If you have the parts I'd recommend building the Ultimate version, it's a great build with not too much repetition. I'm hope you'll have as much fun building it as I did.
  15. Glad you didn't give up on this. It's great.
  16. Great transformation. Great colours. Great fun. Well done.
  17. Thank you. Thank you Alex, you're very kind.
  18. I'm truly humbled by your very kind words. Thank you. I can't take any credit for the figures. They're the (very good) idea of Jake, our 8yr old Grandson. I think he may inadvertently have started a rush on them as I've had several PM's about them.
