  1. Thanks! If you have a better suggestion, please please please tell me. I have no desire to build a Tacoma but Had to choose something. Red rims and CLAAS tires
  2. Glad you are feeling better. This is the best iteration of the SHERP I have seen so far. Great job!
  3. Thanks! Thank you! I'm not at all going for an accurate chassis, just a bodywork. Anyway... there will be 1 more update before I might put this on hold. Here is a chassis outline: Leave a comment! Thanks.
  4. Hi everyone, I have an ongoing project but I'm not really into it. I have lately been having some trouble finding something to build. I assume some of you have had the same problem at some point. Here's my question: what did you do when you had trouble finding something to build? I appreciate all answers.
  5. Hey everyone, This MOC is being built for 2 reasons: 1, to celebrate 3 milestones- Canada's 150th anniversary, Technic's 40th anniversary, and me hitting 1000 subscribers on Youtube. In fact, a comment suggested I do this. The second reason is to cure the errors that my 2 previous crawlers had: -weak axles (very weak in fact) -low climbing power -messy building -inefficient steering (used an M motor) -no additional RC functions So here's where I'm at right now: Above is the motor housing. I'm going with 2 L motors for the drive because they have good speed at a sufficient torque. That is the gear housing. Frames are abundant. Now the whole front axle. You can see that it is compact and yet very, very durable. The rear axle. And the two together. This crawler is being built for max performance but awesome looks. So I want to (but may not) do a Tacoma body: Update tomorrow, thanks for reading! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  6. That's too bad, and yeah, I noticed sucks that it has so much trouble driving backward. It's what to expect with these vehicles in scale, my crop sprayer had trouble rolling forward.
  7. Abandoning this. Chassis is optimal (steering delay is the least I could get it to) but bodywork is gonna be a huge pain which I don't wanna go through. If you want a video on the functioning of the chassis, please tell me because I will dismantle this in the near near future. Thank you.
  8. This is gonna be so interesting! Following with interest, and started my 4oth anniversary project too
  9. This is nothing short of stunning! Awesome work.
  10. UPDATE: The new wheels ( those from 42039) have arrived. Having tested them, they add no friction nor stress to the steering mech. What this means is that I have 1 last idea to remove the rear wheel delay. Expect 3 updates in the next 4 days. Happy building!
  11. +1: Awesomely well done! I would buy this, no doubts.
  12. Awesome! I would have never attempted so destructive. And congrats on breaking a record I guess? EDIT: one question: do you only use iMovie to edit your films?
  13. This is one of the best cars I have seen in LEGO! Though I do agree with @Jeroen Ottens , it is boxy. But I also agree with @Aventador2004, Elon would be proud
  14. I did decide to make the 4000. Thank you so much 42054 is an awesome set!
  15. You should finish it anyway, as a MOC. This was super interesting and it sucks that you aren't entering
  16. Haha, Thanks! I personally would call it a b model- it's a very nice attachment. However, full rebuilds are nice too Thanks! There is, in fact, a 5000 model- I found a picture: Of course, I may be wrong and this may just be a 4000. Also, what about the stairs? They are supposed to be on the left. Perhaps I didn't understand Thank you! Next is the continuation of a project I put on hold some time ago then an attachment for this tractor.
  17. This project was a little different for me. I saw this vehicle in the 42054 the minute I first saw it. I actually intended this to be my first model from 42054, but got absorbed in the crop sprayer instead. Now, here I am, nearly 3 months later, having finally built it: the CLAAS Xerion 5000 Saddletrac. My model features 3 steering modes, 3 PTOs (1 back, 1 front, 1 top) and 2 attachments: a lawn mower and a counterweight. Check the video out for more: Pictures, It stopped raining for 10 mins and I got these: The lawn mower attachment looks terrible, so I didn't bother including a picture. If you want one, tell me. Thank you!
  18. That's way more sets than I have! I applied more stickers on 42025 than on all of my other sets combined No worries I guess so
