I do have a theory on that: It is stated that there are different kind of Klingon sub-races, like the Imperial ones, Humanoid crossings and, at least in Table Top Game manuals, there was a rumour about Romulan cross-breeds. To me, those "new" Klingons do have something in common with Remulans, which look a lot different to the regular (more human) Romulans. I, for one, will wait for at least the first Episode before judging the series... however, given that latest trailer it looks more like J.J.Abrams-Crash-Boom-Peng-Style to me

Yeah, too bad interest in keeping those inventories up-to-date is pretty low. I'm located in the far west of Austria and travelling 3 or more hours to the next PaB and finding out that the inventory is wrong is not really encouraging me for a drive
-
@kovacs You can also check out this website, which shows you the contents of the PaB sections of various stores: http://www.brickbuildr.com/index.php/all-stores/. Howevery, it is not really up-to-date for some stores. So you might take that info with a grain of salt...

What a lovely set, might by the first Technics set since my Dark Ages and Set 8868. Thank you @Jim for your lovely and very well crafted review!

Thanks a lot, @WhiteFang -
Awesome models and indeed a very compact build with those PF parts. That IR receiver... it's so perfectly included in the design, I almost missed it.

If I remember right, I can do this in my own time, yeah? And do it in my own pace? If so, count me in too, please @WhiteFang -
Errrr.... Nope. Right now I'm envisioning light azure rails. And this makes me freak out. Please stop it, this is definitely rustling my jimmies.

Sometimes you get a pretty good picture of what it will look like just from the renderings, even if only done in LDD and not rendered by external programs or postproccessed by other software. Seems to me the colours in the rendering are a bit off, anyways, compared with the brick built one...

Pretty cool evolution of your stations and that Grand Central looks awesome. Funny, it looks much more interesting in the bricks than as a digital creation. I do like your overhead stations as well, hope you haven't dumped that idea completely?

Hm, wondering why nobody mentioned a "Speed Champions Train". Shinkansen, JR-Maglev & Co Set 60052 is not marked as retired or soon to be retired in the Austrian LEGO store, is this just a rumour or has anybody settled info about this?

MOCs: Models of trains running in Hungary
Capparezza replied to Ashi Valkoinen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Ah yeah. I'm not so much into LDD, have started 2 or 3 projects but nothing overly complicated. Well, that's a valid point for the bogies. No problem to me, as I do like those old style trains of the 9V area most and tend to keep my builds as simple as possible. Though I have other reasons to do that -
MOCs: Models of trains running in Hungary
Capparezza replied to Ashi Valkoinen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Are those gaps left and right from the diagonal green line because of LDD? Disregarding the gaps your model looks awesome, as always. The bogies could use some work, though. Those 9V motor side parts don't go well with the rest of the train. -
Yeah, that's it. So it was planned but unfortunately dumped. Those locos are looking very nice too. Thanks for that one, Ole. Gives me a little inspiration what to do with all that Train parts I've bought recently

Bought a box full of LEGO this weekend. Two 9V train motors (both working), a Metroliner 4547 Club Car, the Loco and the Boxcar from Set 4563, a 9V transformer with all cables (working as well), lots of 9V rails (straights, curves and 2 switches), parts of the yellow flat car from 4563, 4537 Twin Tank Car including truck, driver and barrels but missing 2 or 3 parts, several parts + baseplate from 7835 level crossing, 4543 Railroad Tractor Flatbed without the trailer and unfortunately lots of panels from the waggon missing, the yellow Train Station Set 4554 (couple parts missing), 4551 Crocodile 9V era without fake engine. And to top it all off, something completely unrelated to that whole bunch: Lego 6290 Red Beard Runner This is set is in a somewhat terrible state. The skull on the back and the hull are complete. I have all the sails and masts too as well as the steering wheel and compass. But I lack nearly everything else... Dunno yet what to do with it, maybe I will rebuild it, maybe it's going to get scrapped for spares

Very lovely figure!

Errm... I saw some "Grey:Tron" pics on Flickr while browsing, unfortunately I don't have any links and it's not in my browser history anymore. Was that something fan created or was that really an upcoming theme in the LEGO space universe?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Capparezza replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
DB is short for database. -
Looking nice. Especially that diagonal view to that pond, that somehow "odd" (no offense ment) alignment of the water tiles gives it a special touch. This is going to get really crowded, with all that stuff you're planning to add

Sorry for bumping this, but just editing the original post seems to keep that thread lost in history: Anyone from Germany (around Wittingen or Hamburg) joining? I'm looking for either a ride someone to give a lift
-
Thanks for the LXF and the inspiration for building neat and small shunters This will definitely come in handy. Regarding buying instructions: I'm definitely not into this. Maybe because I don't like to copy something 1:1 but am more interested in getting inspirations for my own models (hopefully to come, some day). But that's just me.
