Hey there and welcome! Haven't looked at your vehicle by now, but I hope your username is a promise of what to expect next from you? As a big fan of the Model Team line I would wish LEGO had not discontinued that line Greetings from Austria, Chris

Well, no info on any new Train sets for 2018. No rumours even. At the moment I am skeptic and don't think there will be any new sets next year.
-
All the previous remarks might be valid, but it could also be the tracks themselves, like @jtlan mentioned. I don't know those "Spirit World" tracks. Could be a small difference in shape which is causing this. When you say "I didn't have slippage with the new trains till recent", is that "recent" the point in time when you switched over to that new track parts from Spirit World?

Maybe a LEGO manatee is what you will get

EB Xmas Raffle 2017 - Your ideal Christmas tree entry thread

No need to be "pissed"... I thought that was a rhetorical question? Seems not. My apologies then. -
Post your tree anyways, it's always fun to see what others came up with

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Capparezza replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I'm neither a semantics pedant, nor a nostalgic romantician. Sorry if you got that feeling just by those 5 words I issued. You compared the precursor to the now current minifigs - precursors without any arms and without movable legs. To me, THIS comparison is way off. The real change has occured way back when LEGO decided to make the precursor posable by adding movable arms and legs and a face. Comparing the classic minifig and the precursor would've been more fitting. -

Comparing Apples and Bananas is not. -
Yeah, storage is indeed everything. I'm running out of it, lately...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Capparezza replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Might be connected to the new Renault F1 sets and the event at the Renault Atelier in Paris -> https://media.group.renault.com/global/en-gb/renault/media/pressreleases/21200348/renault-sport-formula-one-team-et-lego-france-se-rencontrent-a-latelier-renault Or, possible connection No. 2: There is a raffle on the web for French people, they are giving away Renault F1 car sets in Minifig / Town size. Maybe that's what the bags are for. Lost the link to it, unfortunately, sorry. -
Oh, biased? You? No way Since I got my Metroliner out of the basement I've been trying to get my hands on 9V rails and motors, and I must say it is indeed possible even with my very restricted funds. There is indeed lots of 9V stuff around for little money, if you search hard enough.

"Decoupling Scissor" ... Man... I just can't cope with the amount of love and dedication you've put into that project. If I would be somehow religious in any way, I would worship you! Are those super magnets just snapped on? I can't quite judge it by that picture, but it looks to be the case.

BrickTracks: different curves, PF/9V compatible
Capparezza replied to JopieK's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Damn, yes, they do! But you won't get me to bite any ABS.... my chewed up bricks from my childhood is nearly too much to bear. Very nice curves you got there -
Mmuuu-mmmmu-mmmmuuuuu-muuuuu-mulllltiiiiii Shop! Steamdemon is on a shopping spree! I'm in the same boat. My red flanged and unflanged big train wheels arrived today and I went out at Black Friday and bought something with nearly 50% discount, went to the shop to pick it up 4 hours ago.

Okay. 13 engines on one (1!) controller. Even with a modified one, that is an enormous feat. You did explain the modifications already, thinking about doing the same...
-
Whoaaaaah. Yepp, if you look up "Extreme" in the Dictionary, your train will definitely be No.2 or even No.1 on the list. Incredible. Are those all fed by the 4 speed regulators?
-
Sshhhhh, I'm still dreaming, don't wake me yet... I've got those shaker thingies, bought them with a lot of 90ies LEGO sets. Wonder if that might scratch the bricks. Any experience?

If you ask me, then I would complain. "Minifigs missing" is just minifigs missing, not whole vehicles absent... Not very fair from the seller. Even if it was a good deal.

This is plain awesome! Had so much fun watching that video. Even though I'm on a low bandwith connection.... couldn't even make out how many motors your Swiss ore train had. And BTW: your moustache rocks!

Nice build techniques used here. Totally digging that model, very realistic build for a 5 wide one. -
