Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
All the grey-roofed sets that are on shelves right now, meaning the Owlery, Great Hall, Boat House, and the Flying Lesson, plus the interior modules (charms classroom, potions classroom, Duelling Club) ^^ -

Prof Kettleburn, the teacher for magical care and Hagrid‘s precursor He made no official appearance in the movies, but there was an extra in PS/CoS that fans have speculated could be him, which TLG now pretty much canonised -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
BrickBob Studpants replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
As other people have pointed out, it‘s hilarious to see moulded horses in his Creator set and then brick-built horses in the Creator castle And not only is it weird to have moulded animals in a Creator set to begin with, but a currently exclusive one at that with the new unicorn! Of all the potential themes to introduce a unicorn (like Dreamzzz, Harry Potter, Pokémon, or Friends even), I never would‘ve thought it‘d be Creator -
LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

A.clay stated the set is definitely a CTT now. Glad to finally have it settled then While I still mourn the „loss“ of the UT-AT, I now view the set as a CTT with a better than usual minifig selection as opposed to a Galactic Marines set with the wrong vehicle. That said, there has to be more to this set minifig-wise, right? 4 is very low for a set like this. A handful of BDs and/or SBDs would be nice, even though we already get plenty of them in the MTT and the 327th BP. -

Wow, this looks fantastic! Definitely one of my favourite castle expansions we‘ve had so far across all three systems! So many cool minifigs and details, and the challenges are really well realised! I was wondering how they‘d do the flying keys, and yeahhhhh… They‘re more like levitating keys here Other random observations: Funny to have a third version of Flint. Quite a lot for such a minor character! Nice of them to keep book-Percy exclusive! How many versions of Harris’ Dumbledore can they crank out before we finally get another Gambledore? Someone here will be very happy about one of the students… The PS looks stupid. Is it really so hard to recolour the gold nugget piece? Looks like the entire parts budget of this wave went into Fluffy. Worth it! -
LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

This marks the second time everybody thought we‘d get a cool new TIE variant from an upcoming project in a set, only for them to coldly ignore it And the Avenger seems to be a lot more prominent than the Whisper was! While I do like the new U-Wing, I would‘ve traded it for a TIE Avenger in a heartbeat. Also, how come they skip the yearly TIE Fighter set in a year where there‘s a new variant all over the marketing for a show?! -

Currently, the most reliable ones include lego minecraft goat, TandN, a.clay, maxbautde, Cmf6169, mtd, fateful, and Brick Clicker (and Falconfan, but I’m not sure if he’s still active). What they say is usually highly accurate ^^ Most other „leakers“ either parrot what they say, fall for fake informants, or just make stuff up for clicks -

A drawing of the Sherlock Holmes set leaked, and that one actually is a proper book nook! Now I wonder which category the Balrog set will fall into… -

A drawing of the Fawkes set leaked! The set also includes baby Fawkes, the sorting hat, and the sword of Gryffindor I guess we’ve now seen some sort of leak for all of the June sets besides the Thestral one! -
Are there too many licensed LEGO themes?
BrickBob Studpants replied to imposter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Still salty about my Mara Jade heresy, I see And yes, I do collect almost every licensed theme with few exceptions! Plus some in-house stuff too. I have quite a few Dreamzzz, Monkie Kid, Ninjago, Hidden Side, Power Miners, and Atlantis sets (plus more), in case anyone thinks I only care about licensed themes In regard to what specifically? I didn’t imply I was gonna celebrate Dreamzzz’s doom, because I’m actually quite fond of the theme, just pointing out that he’s gonna invite people’s vindictiveness -

There’s no argument to be made though, unless you count counterfactual ones The company is still the #1 toy brand in the world and pretty much the only one not suffering. The toy market on the whole has been declining for years, while TLG thrive. The bestsellers include a healthy mix of both licensed and in-house themes. You just personally hate licenses for whatever arbitrary reasons and try to find evidence to support your outlandish claims, but there simply isn’t any. Accept the situation and enjoy the themes you enjoy without p***ing all over everyone else’s cereal -

I thought turtles weren’t colour-blind? Criticism != childish insults -
Are there too many licensed LEGO themes?
BrickBob Studpants replied to imposter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Turtle is from Finland tho, he only pretends to be from Sweden as part of his “masterful” disguise You never listen to anything anyone says, so this is completely pointless, but you’re not gonna endear anyone to your point of view if you keep hurling childish insults at people Keep doing it and people are gonna openly celebrate the demise of your favourite themes Because unlike SW, Dreamzzz actually is on the way out. -

Definitely, but it was also a tie-in set for BP:WF and Boseman‘s passing wasn‘t referred to anywhere on the box, on s@h, or in the instructions. If they didn‘t do it for a set that came out years after an actor‘s death, they‘re not gonna do it for a set that‘s actively being produced while an actor passed away -

That is such a cool reference!! Imagine seeing this without knowing how the Creeper came to be, must be super confusing Then again, they‘ll likely point it out in the instructions. -

A.clay claims that it can Agreed! The usefulness was ultimately limited, but it was still a very creative solution. The new one can’t actually lie down anyway, so going with all three heads always being awake is appropriate -

You know what they say about blind chickens and broken clocks Haven‘t heard that goober‘s name in a while You‘d think after years of this nonsense he‘d get something right by accident, but nope! -

As @Black Falcon points out, they simply wouldn‘t create this many of them if they didn‘t sell. They have years worth of data across various themes and at different price points now, enough to make sound data-driven decisions. In essence, yes, they are ^^ Since the new dalmatian puppy‘s body is so similar to Simba‘s, I wonder if it was still Marcos Bessa‘s work. Maybe it’s the last set he worked on before leaving the company? -

Jedi Bricks isn‘t a reliable source though. While I’m convinced LOTR will continue, we need to wait for actual leakers to confirm it -

The 2001 Fluffy was cool for its time and aged better than the sock puppet Basilisk, but I still prefer both of the other versions The dog breed seems inaccurate with its pointy ears and the lack of prints wouldn‘t work nowadays either -

Why would dinosaurs transform into Australian mammals? Sorry, couldn‘t resist, that misspelling / autocorrect was too funny to ignore To answer your question, I doubt it. So far, most moulded animals either have no articulation or pin or clip connections. Ball joints are colour-locked, which would require additional new pieces to connect the limbs to, or they‘d somehow have to be dual-moulded -

As far as I‘m aware, they haven‘t dedicated sets to deceased actors yet. Besides, Kilmer‘s death was very recent, so even if they wanted, it‘d probably too late already to add something in the instruction booklet
