Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Huh, never noticed it, despite owning the set!! Should‘ve taken a closer look at it Good point! The last few GWP sets were closely linked thematically, so this one will likely be as well The vault GWP was a literal extension of Gringotts while the Borgin & Burke set was connected to the Burrow via the floo network, so this one will be similar I imagine. Maybe something related to the Shrieking Shack? -

While I‘d be prefer an actual castle expansion based on OotP, this would be a nice solution too! …I didn‘t even realise they haven‘t done that yet! It’s one of the very few things from the 2010-2011 run they haven‘t remade yet, besides the knight statue and arguably Dobby‘s release (which hasn‘t been a specific set in the current theme, but all the elements to recreate it are there) -

It‘s not the most varied building experience, but it was at least way more interesting to build than the UCS Star Destroyer. The added splashes of colour help quite a bit -

He definitely needed to keep it for season two of TLoU and any helmetless scenes in Mando & Grogu I have no issue whatsoever with him keeping the moustache for Mr Fantastic. It‘s actually uncanny to see him clean-shaven like in WW 84 -
Super Mario 2025 and onwards - Rumors & Discussion

Not very surprising, considering Mario and Animal Crossing are the only themes (apart from Wicked) still without any information beyond prices and piece counts Fingers crossed for some juicy rumours soon to reignite discussions in both threads! -

I like those brick-built wheels quite a bit! Sure, they take away some of the pieces from the main build, but I‘m not gonna judge it before we actually see it -

They are canon to the show tho Not the books of course, but again, Star Wars is different. It never was a book adaptation to begin with, so that‘s a strange comparison. Again, what you personally consider canon and actual, official canon aren’t the same. Official canon is only up to debate if events contradict each other. Why exactly? If I want to see horror sci-fi, I‘ll watch a horror sci-fi film. Not sure what a SW horror film could provide that horror sci-fi doesn‘t already have. The victims wearing familiar armour? Implementing the force somehow? I honestly don‘t see the appeal here Horror elements and tropes have been done in SW before, but an entire R-rated movie just feels off. Besides, I want all SW shows and movies to have LEGO representation, and such a film obviously wouldn‘t, so no thanks. -

Not how that works tho. Official canon is what the IP owner says it is. Fans don‘t like to hear it, but their opinions are only head canon Also, while Lucas is the creator, you cannot really compare a multimedia franchise to two book series that got adapted. A book has (usually) one author who determines the canon, whereas SW has been a multimedia franchise with many cooks in the kitchen from the getgo. The first comics and books came out very soon after ANH, after all! Lucas himself never gave a single **** about what is and isn’t canon and frequently overrode stuff. Also, you cannot ignore his contributions to TCW (in regard to your stance that only the OT and PT are canon from Lucas‘ perspective) -

💵💵💵💵💵 The only thing you got wrong was Mr Fantastic‘s faceprint, he interestingly gets a new one! Galactus looks a lot cooler than expected! -

The moulds themselves are expensive too, at least $250k a piece! Setting up the factory and storage room are important cost factors as well. Of course it gets even more expensive with dual-moulding. -

Yeahhhhh… Not great, but these are likely what we‘re getting They deserve unique faceprints, but so do other characters that all share the same face, so I‘m not gonna get my hopes up. -

Look, at this point I‘m glad we‘re getting a set at all, so the lack of leg printing, most members sharing the same torso, Galactus being a constraction figure, and the faceprints likely being reused doesn‘t even bother me -

GWP sets never include new parts, and for good reason. They‘re too expensive to be produced for a set that will only be available for a couple of days The best you can hope for with any GWP is 2-3 new prints. -

In my mind, the chances got really low ever since we learned that K2 was gonna be the second tie-in set, and this just twisted the knife. That said, we still can‘t rule it out entirely! TLG remain unpredictable after all -

Sure, but they upped the maturity level even further with that scene. There was nothing quite that dark in S1! -

I hate to say it, but after that scene from S2E3 (iykyk), I‘m not sure if TLG will be willing to revisit Andor ever again. Besides follow-up sets to the shows being the exception rather than the norm anyway -

I was gonna buy the DS anyway, but if they really include Mas Amedda and Sly Moore, and perhaps even Krennic and Galen, this is gonna sweeten the deal substantially! Sure, paywalling these minifigs behind a $1000 set isn‘t exactly fair, but Mas and Sly in particular aren‘t characters most casual fans and kids are clamouring for, so adding them as an incentive to a set intended for superfans isn‘t completely unreasonable in my eyes. It‘s also not like there‘s another super obvious set where they could be featured. Let‘s face it, if the senate chamber ever gets made (and that‘s already a long shot), it‘s gonna be for Yoda and Palpy‘s duel, and they‘re not gonna feature two characters in such a set that mostly stand around menacingly. -

Still better than yet another Gree and 41st CTs Sure, it‘s been a while since we last saw them, but Bacara and the GMs have never been done before at least! I‘d rather have a set with fewer but new minifigs, as opposed to one with more but only slighty updated minifigs. That would‘ve been fantastic, but that ship has sailed, sadly! Also, it would‘ve been kinda hilarious to have a set where one of the characters gets shot in the head (and somehow survives) As a RotS set, the CTT has little potential for surprises I‘m afraid. The MTT however could still include a CIS higher-up, like a Tactical Droid! I‘m not super hopeful about that, but at least it‘s a possibility! -

Exactly, 5 Clones and 3 BDs! The rumours are pretty clear about there only being two Galactic Marines in the CTT, so I hope they include a pilot/driver again ^^ -

Prof Kettleburn, the teacher for magical care and Hagrid‘s precursor He made no official appearance in the movies, but there was an extra in PS/CoS that fans have speculated could be him, which TLG now pretty much canonised
