Unless it remains on shelves longer because it sells so well, like the 2008 Death Star that survived wayyyyy past its expiration date -
Latest news about Lego animal moulds
BrickBob Studpants replied to Roebuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The upcoming Dreamzzz wave will introduce a trans-pink animal, which a lot of people think could be an axolotl! Fun idea if so, since axolotl skin is somewhat translucent!- 5,839 replies

Are there too many licensed LEGO themes?
BrickBob Studpants replied to imposter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well said. The appeal of LEGO is that it‘s (almost) all other types of toys rolled into one: of course it‘s primarily a construction toy, but it has vehicles, playsets, action figures, doll houses, collectibles, display models, electronic elements, and everything in-between. Your mileage in preference may vary, but they‘re all equal in my eyes If you really wanted, you could always find something to create division. I‘m surprised we haven‘t had a silly argument yet whether action or minidoll themes are better. Pretty much on par with some of the other discussions in here As others have said before, you can’t argue about taste and personal preferences. -

It‘s the way of the Turtle. First it was Batman and other DC heroes (that fly like bees), then it was DC and Marvel, and now it‘s in-house and licensed themes News flash: It‘s possible to like or prefer something without putting something else down! Amazing! -

All of them? Ok, I’ll bite. My pick is 4040 then. Sure, it was a McD promotional set, but just LOOK AT IT. And Galidor‘s an official theme, so it counts, even if it‘s a very very easy target Still a cop out? My next pick is this then: -

You call this a colour scheme? Interesting choice in a world where Galidor exists -

Dreamzzz is a lot more coherent and creative than Time Cruisers in my opinion For TC, it seems they just randomly tossed leftover pieces from other themes together Must‘ve been one of the cheapest themes they ever created. And the main character had a nose *shudder* -

There’s also the upcoming book nook, which proves that they already have ideas that go beyond the “trilogy“ of sets -

Quickly threw this together in Bricklink Studio! Yeah, it looks rather silly I think -

They are indeed a bit too tall, but I think it’s too late now. We’re all so used to the current design, a minifig one might just look super cursed! Wow, that’s basically high-street robbery! Another reason to celebrate its return! -

Yes please! We should make a game out of this, like the CMF guessing game -

4) Satisfied, but hungry for more The things I wanted the most after LOTR was done in 2013 were Sauron, Barad-dûr, the Balrog, a fell beast, the Witch-King, Eowyn, and a mûmakil. Considering we already got more than half of that in the "reboot", I'm happy, but of course I'd like to see the rest as well Hopefully they see the demand!! -

I‘m afraid he‘s absolutely sincere with his borderline insane takes After dealing with it so long in the 2024 DC thread to the extend he was the main reason it spiralled into the Aslume thread it is now, I’m convinced he’s not just trolling and means everything he says. Well, except for lying about not having any DC sets -
Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
My guess would be the following: Harry, Ron, & Hermione Draco & Pike Rosmerta Aberforth (plus his goat patronus please, despite it not appearing in the movies!) Katie Mr & Mrs Flume A random student Slughorn* * Purely based on his 2020 faceprint being used in the Shire. I doubt they brought it back just for a random hobbit -

Yeah, but those are ch the DK encyclopedias, they always have exclusive minifigs! The activity books are a different category The set already includes an older Gryffindor Quidditch player (likely Angelina), so I think it‘s a random student instead Katie is a good candidate for the Hogsmeade D2C set tho! -

The Enderman Tower includes two Endermen, two player minifigs, and two Endermites! About time we finally get some of these! And the enchantment table is finally back!! The build itself is an Enderman-shaped tower with a Nether portal in its head and parts of two Nether biomes (crimson forest & warped forest), interestingly enough! I never expected a Nether-based Enderman set -

Neither. It‘s a set you can only buy on s@h and in LEGO stores, like a lot of other 40xxx sets -

Yeah, PS/CoS Hermione never has a ponytail, so this might be a different character? Maybe just a random shopper? If so, kinda funny to have Ron as the only member of the trio in a set this large! -

I like that the D2C set is based on the studio set while the playsets are more based on the theme park Sets them apart nicely ^^
