BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Stonewars provide some more details about the 2022 sets in their article: https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-harry-potter-neuheiten-q1-2022/ Noteworthy new bits of information include: The release date is the 1st of March Leaks might take a bit longer then The DADA set includes a depiction of the dark mark The Hospital Wing set includes a bottle of Skelegro and potentially a new owl print The suitcase set maybe includes a new leg piece that combines short legs with a skirt -

Those are pretty vague rumours anyway, there’s no guarantee any of them actually pan out It’s not like TFA or TROS where we had concept art to confirm character appearances… I’m not fully convinced myself yet, but I think we can expect a decent handful of familiar characters to show up. Hopefully, we also get some cool new characters with minifig potential -

Indeed. There’s another option for the Yoda set. It’s incredibly unlikely, but if “Yoda’s training” is actually the proper name of the set, it could be based on the Yoda arc of TCW S6. After all, we already got Yoda’s Jedi interceptor from that very same arc Not counting on it, but at least it’s an option The options for the DS set are a bit more limited, so not looking forward to that one too much. Could still be another remake of the ROTJ duel -

Stonewars have started to write a series of articles on the 2022 set lists, so it shouldn’t take too long before they get to the SW one Let’s hope they have some new bits of information to add, especially in regards to the Yoda and Death Star sets -

I sure hope so, we still need minifigs for two of those -

Since it’s now October, it shouldn’t be too long before the first minifigs start leaking Could be quite exciting, especially in regards to the TBOBF set. We still have no idea who will show up in that show apart from Boba and Fennec of course, and with a $100 set we should expect quite a few minifigs The only familiar characters that are currently rumoured to appear are and the only new character we’ve heard of is codenamed Characters from upcoming SW content being revealed through minifig leaks is a tradition I’d definitely like to see continue -

Nope, we knew that already. What caught us off-guard were the dress and the new hat-hair combo piece Before, we were expecting a reprint of the 2018 version I expect them to reuse the Aunt May / Trolley Witch faceprint At least it’s not as widespread -

Minifigures could start leaking at the end of the month, unless TLG’s new anti-leak manager is really good at their job -

Kuiil, the Client, Pershing, Cobb Vanth, and Ahsoka would like to have a word with you You could argue that the Marvel equivalent are the random Spidey sets. Not in terms of nostalgia or iconicity of course, bur rather them playing it save -

*TLG puts exclusive minifigs in GWP sets* „How dare they?!“ *TLG doesn‘t put exlusive minifigs in GWP sets* „It‘s worthless!“ Sure, it’s not necessarily the same people making these sorts of statements, but as a whole, us fans sure are hard to please -

It‘s very nice that they actually thought of a way to display the wizard card tiles Looks like I‘ve ordered my purple 8*16 plates for nothing -

I prefer that plot thread being resolved in an upcoming season, rather than Mando getting „crowned“ as Mandalore right then and there. If there was a direct confrontation between him and Bo-katan, it would have been way too early I think They would all have died. Painfully You could argue it was a bit of a deus ex machina, but at least it was properly foreshadowed and it did make sense. Back to the set: Of course nothing in the set will be new technically, at least minifig-wise, but I‘m still looking forward to it. So, the 60$ set is now the only one unaccounted for, right? Or is that one supposed to be the alleged fighter tank? And why are the reveals this fragmented -
Dangit I hope we can still get them on BL without having to pay a fortune! Especially since I collect CMF boxes as well

What I find particularly noteworthy is that Creator Expert is in the top 5. Contrary to populary belief, the „Adults welcome“ campaign must‘ve paid off then -

You‘re the first person I‘ve seen who didn‘t like the hallway scene Any particular reason? Agreed, shouldn‘t be too hard to get enough of them to recreate the scenes in S2 (doubt they‘ll show up again anytime soon). Besides, their price on BL should drop rather drastically after the new set gets released -

And in light of this news, I take back anything negative I've said about this wave. Between the Darktrooper "battlepack" and Boba's Palace, this wave is already miles ahead of this year's first wave And we still don't know everything! -

Another reason is that the ST has been covered VERY well, especially when compared to the early days of OT and especially PT sets, which took years to get to a similar point (and one could argue the PT hasn‘t reached that point yet with the amount of stuff still missing). I mean, it took them 13 years to finally release a Queen Amidala minifig! Of course it‘s not really fair to compare sets released between 2015 and 2020 to ones released in the early 2000‘s due to the massive increase in budget and new moulding techniques, but still There‘s still some stuff from the ST I would like to see in set form, but I‘m ok with it taking a backseat to Mando, TCW, BB, and all the upcoming shows of course -

‚Läderlappen’ is Swedish for ‚bat’, so it makes some sense at least For native German speakers, this name also sounds hilarious (like ‚leather rag‘). I think they changed it to Batman once the 1989 film came out, probably realising that this wouldn‘t fly in a movie Exactly. As @ood0 says, this renders it less reusable, but at least it makes sense in the context of this figure. Huh, hadn‘t thought of that. Kite-Man‘s faceprint almost looks like it was specifically made for Dafoe Was he supposed to voice him at some point? -

To be frank, I don‘t buy any of these most recent „rumours“. I mean, Cody in an accessory pack? Come on, we all know his P2 helmet requires a new mould, so let‘s drop the pretense The rest doesn‘t sound particularly realistic either -

As funny as that is, it'll never beat the original name Batman had in Sweden: Läderlappen I prefer the new ones, but to each their own -

This doesn't hold water either. If TLG sanctioned this, Disney would have to be in on it too, and Hasbro as well, since this concerns their exclusivity contract As I've said before, this is on the same level as a conspiracy theory
