  1. Personally, I‘d be satisfied with just Sauron, Sam, Frodo, and a bunch of orcs. What else could we realistically expect? Gollum perhaps, but they didn‘t bring back the old moulds for Rivendell, so he’d require two new pieces (unless they pull a goat and recreate them perfectly). The Witch King and fell beasts would not be entirely out of place, but they’d certainly be saved for a Minas Tirith set (if we ever get there).
  2. The theme is dead. 77014 has been cancelled and we’ve known for ages that there won‘t be more sets in 2024. We should simply accept it and move on Feel free to believe in miracles, but it‘s a waste of time I‘m afraid
  3. Doesn’t matter in the end though. The set has been cancelled, they’ve acknowledged it, and that’s it What else do you expect?
  4. There’s no way this set comes out in April 2024 The fact Red Hulk is included should be enough of an indication, since his appearance has never been officially confirmed. Of course I’m aware of all the leaks, but still. For the general public, this would be a huge spoiler! They’ve postponed the Eternals sets despite not being spoilery in the slightest, so I can’t see them releasing this set 10 months ahead of the film
  5. Gaps like that are perfectly normal. You can find them in a lot of themes Only 3 sets? Interesting. Maybe they’re based on Chaos Theory?
  6. I guess the $140 set is a new Great Hall and the $90 one another Hogwarts extension The $200 one is too cheap to be the Burrow… Maybe the Knight Bus that was initially rumoured for this year?
  7. Wow. So after their rather outlandish fake leaks, they now overcorrected, creating some of the most boring fake leaks in the history of our hobby Hmm. I hope not, as we’ve had a lot of TIE variants recently. Unless it’s an interesting new one (a TIE Whisper or one of the mining guild ones from Rebels), I wouldn’t be thrilled about that
  8. My favourites this year were: 1) Gringotts. An amazing set, worth every second we had to wait for it! Contender for set of the year, along with Rivendell. 2) Battle of Hogwarts. Finally, after all these years! Never thought I’d hold a Scabior minifig in my hand 3) Second task. Now that’s how you do a remake! Such a cool upgrade with A+ minifigs. What I liked about the line this year in general were all the new prints (galleons, pygmy puffs, chocolate frog pack), the fact we got three proper DH2 sets, the return of the classic AC, and all the new characters! 2024 is looking good so far too, except for the lack of new characters in the first wave. The second wave has to deliver big time to make up for that!
  9. There were never any rumours that I‘m aware of Wishful thinking at best!
  10. Barad-Dûr is definitely an Icons set due to its set number There are no other sets rumoured.
  11. Incredibly fake. The X-wing and TIE Fighter set for instance is just a combination of the two 2021 sets What a throwback to the glorious days of hilariously fake catalogue leaks
  12. Thanks! Wait, when did the Juno codename ever come up? Or is that for the Brickheadz?
  13. Avatar 3 gets released in Dec 2025, meaning sets won’t hit shelves until Jan 26, if we even get sets in the first place I certainly hope that we do, but it‘s far from certain. Not sure how well the two waves sold, after all…
  14. Leaf: Super Mario Banana: Minions Titan: Dreamzzz Coconut: Avatar Pineapple: Indiana Jones Sparkles: Gabby‘s Dollhouse Lemon: Sonic Animal Crossing had one too, but I forgot. Bubblegum, perhaps?
  15. Keep in mind it’s not necessarily something upcoming, but pretty likely given @Falconfan1414‘s hints. My guess is Despicable Me 4. Technically a new theme (hence a new codename), and LEGO-friendly too! Inside Out 2 is another guess, but I would expect that to be a 4+ theme, which should entail different set numbers. The biggest mystery to me are the set numbers. Can‘t think of another example where a new theme seamlessly continues another theme‘s numbers. Even Animal Crossing has a 30 number gap to Indy!
  16. More than just one or two We’ve seen finalised images of The Sorting Hat, and the other confirmed ones are the Medieval Market, the Snow White cottage, Simba, and Barad-Dûr. Still unconfirmed for 2024 are Donald Duck, the Maleficent diorama, Deku Tree, the Burrow, and Jabba‘s Sailbarge
  17. Subtheme of what exactly? Also, the codenames don’t have any relation to the theme itself, the only exception so far was Minions (codename „banana“).
  18. According to the latest rumours on IG (courtesy of @Lego_Minecraft_Goat), 75580-83 aren't Avatar sets despite the numbers directly following the 2023 sets Since @Falconfan1414 has previously hinted at multiple 2024 movies getting sets, could this theme codenamed "orange" be for an upcoming film?
  19. Turns out the four Avatar sets rumoured for 2024 are apparently for a different theme The theme‘s codename is „orange“, according to @Lego_Minecraft_Goat. Interesting, but why do the numbers follow immediately after the other Avatar sets if it‘s a completely different theme?!
  20. I would’ve loved to see a set or two based on the upcoming movie, but it’s sadly too late for that
  21. It was in his IG story a while back
  22. Same. Not being able to afford a SDCC minifig is one thing, but this would be so much worse Also, if they actually were being produced at the time of cancellation, can you imagine hundreds or thousands of minifig parts being shredded or molten?! Just the thought hurts
  23. If just a nanofig goes for $100+, the mere thought of that makes my skin crawl
  24. Exactly! 2024 is already looking better with the Gotham skyline and the other rumoured BTAS sets, and 2025 should bring the theme back in full swing with the release of Superman Legacy and The Batman II While I doubt we‘ll ever reach the theme‘s highest highpoints again, I can see the theme at least thrive if the DCU is a success! Shouldn’t be that high of a bar to clear, since at this point, any set that includes more than just Batsy and the Joker can be considered a win
  25. If it’s genuine, that is Kinda fishy that this person not only claims to have the leaked part, but also a misprint they advertise to include for free should the bids go above a threshold. Weird. I was under the impression the set had been cancelled well before hitting production. Honestly, I don’t like the idea of individual parts now leaking, given how crazily expensive it would be to hunt them all down
