While I love the sound of this set, it’s pretty sad they seem to have abandoned the classic BPs again so shortly after reintroducing them I always thought the 2-faction packs in 2012/13 didn’t do as well (hence the 1-faction packs returning in 2014), but apparently they feel confident in the concept again?

No way. They probably just assume the sets got delayed For all we know, they never existed.

Yeah, those two technically could be new characters, but they don’t really count in my book. It’s not like they’ll have new faceprints or hairpieces or anything

Fair point! So there is precedence after all The TIE Interceptor has been confirmed to not feature one I believe, so I don’t think the other one (Sailbarge?) will have one either.

I was just assuming we would find the anniversary minifigs only in the spring sets since that‘s what they usually do with them (having them spread across one wave I mean). For instance, the 2019 classic minifigs were all part of the same wave, Harry Potter had its anniversary figs in one wave plus a D2C set, and the same goes for the Ninjago anniversary too IIRC. But yeah, there‘s no evidence to actually support the notion that they’re doing it again in this style It’s definitely possible they’ll be spread across the entire year instead!

Honestly, same. The minifig selection is the most boring we‘ve had in the reboot with not even one new character, so it‘s definitely the animals and creatures that save it for me

Love that the frog house includes all three types of frog! Shame it comes with yet another drowned tho The baby camel is an awesome addition, as is the Legends set on the whole! Not sure yet what to make of the wacky facial expressions tho. Better than the 1000th reprint, I guess

February Sure, we have the Mandrake rumour, but it’s still too soon for any detailed info I believe. Then again, we already know about the minifig selection in the SW sets scheduled for June And of course we already know what the D2C set is gonna be!

Hmm, true. But none of the June sets are (currently) rumoured to have any either! And neither does the BARC speeder!

Excellent point, I completely forgot about this comment!! Well, this pretty clearly indicates it’s a set based on TCW as that‘s where Z-95s showed up by the most. The minifig doesn’t have to be a clone trooper though, could also be a jedi or separatist character! Unless they‘ll still be doing anniversary minifigs in August, but we haven‘t heard anything to suggest that

Ehhh. Sure, I’m hopeful they managed to fast-track Ahsoka spoiler sets, but everyone and their grandma is expecting a new Thrawn minifig at this point. @Renown makes it sound like a surprise, so it has to be someone else!

Speculating about the hyped minifig(s) in the $40 August set is pointless, but I still can’t help but wonder what character(s) would spark a reaction like that Star Wars as a franchise is so big, there are some characters that a huge chunk of the fandom would go bananas over, while leaving another large chunk completely cold at the same time All I hope for is a new character. A redo of a previous minifig wouldn’t be bad (say, a new Zeb), but not worthy of this kind of teasing

The rumours said June, which would be funny. We went from the old pattern of having two waves a year to three once TFA came out, and now we’re at five?! Out of these, the June one easily sounds the best so far! The January one on the other hand can hardly be called a wave even

Yeah, but none of these three pieces are that similar to their Mario counterparts. If they were developped with Mario in mind, they‘d resemble them much more

The Z-95 and Jedi Temple rumours are now confirmed fakes? Oh no! Anyway… Don’t really care, to be honest. Sure, Bly and Yaddle would‘ve been awesome minifigs to get, but it‘s not like this was our only chance Actually, I‘m even happy to hear this, as it means Ahsoka sets are back on the menu, boys!! Sure, it would be a pretty fast-paced design and production process (11 months as opposed to 12+ for previous show-based spoiler sets), but it‘s doable, I think! And even if not, Thrawn, Ezra, Enoch, the Great Mothers, and the Night Troopers will definitely appear again, either in S2 or the Filoni movie. Getting these minifigs is a question of when, not if

Which makes sense. It‘s a bit too early for any info besides set numbers and price points, considering we usually only get good info on the August wave in spring

Well, at least it debunks the false rumours, and it‘s good to know there‘s something exciting coming, even though we don‘t know what it is I‘d rather have vague information than none. As long as it‘s not fake, any information is welcome, at least in my book!

Well this basically debunks the Bly rumour, doesn’t it? The wording strongly implies it at least! So, which info came from that disputed source again? The Z-95, Jedi Temple, and “nO aHsOkA sEtS iN 2024” rumours, right? Really glad the two Mando rumours actually come from trusted sources, phew!
