Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
My money is on a new large-scale Batmobile. If it’s a Marvel set though, I’m guessing another buildable object. Or how about Hawkeye’s quiver? Or BW’s batons? -

Why the scepticism? All of the other survey leak sets (except for Donald) have now been confirmed, so why should this be the sole exception? -

There will be two more sets in August: 77051: 292 pcs 77052: 550 pcs I guess one of them includes Maple? Polybag-exclusive characters aren‘t really a thing anymore, after all -

There never was any doubt though Not only were there clearly minifigs in the survey leak version, the dwarves could not be properly realised as minidolls. The closest solution would be the part they use for child characters, but that would‘ve looked incredibly silly. -

It would be strange if this was the only set not to make it However, you‘re right. It‘s clearly the weakest one out of all 12! -

The Deku Tree (77092) is coming in September, and the final version is still a 2-in-1 set! Take that, naysayers All of the survey sets are coming this year! Except for the Donald one, which is now the only one unaccounted for -

Dopey from the Snow White set leaked!! Kinda weird to see the elf hatpiece, but it makes sense. His ears are a defining characteristic, after all. Tiny bit creepy, but I like it! The kiss print is a nice touch Also, the Maleficent Dragon (43240) is coming in June! The Donald Duck figure is now the only set from the survey leak left -

It’s ~1 year for regular sets and 2+ for D2C sets, as far as I’m aware It‘s likely they have some longterm plans, but as you say, those must be prototypes at best -

I still highly doubt these are the actual upcoming castle segments. The design process for the 2026 sets surely hasn’t started yet, so I doubt they already have the entire layout ready. Also, while the new Great Hall is a $200+ set, I don’t think it’s enough for the gigantic thing we’re seeing here. Doesn’t even look like LEGO to me, to be honest -

An advent calendar I could see (with lots of micro models of dinos, vehicles, and locations), but a CMF series can safely be ruled out The dinos are the big draw of the theme, not the human characters. The only way for a JW series to work would be to include a baby dino for each character, and that would be pretty expensive since we don‘t enough different baby pieces yet Also, would a series with nothing but baby dinos as accessories be that appealing to most customers? -

Sure, but the carriage was first released 5 years ago, so it makes sense to have a new one to accompany the ship. Many kids would likely be disappointed to only have the ship, so including both in the same set is actually a clever idea I think! Better than wasting a set slot for a separate carriage, no? Lemme guess, Karkaroff and Bill? ...hmm, unless the Burrow counts as an autumn set, in which case there must be someone else! My money's on Barty Crouch Sr.! -

I’m more curious if they reuse Gabrielle‘s second task faceprint (if she‘s included, that is), and if Karkaroff reuses the faceprint of the photographer from the DA set. I have a feeling there were some planning issues here So, Karkaroff and Bill are very likely the only big names we can scratch off the list this year. Any of the others don’t stand a chance, given the set list I’m not complaining though! We got every single character and variant I was desperately wishing for in 2011. The small gaps we still have are so minor it’s astounding, especially compared to other themes! -

I think we can consider ourselves lucky if we even get one minifig No way they included all five emotions from the first movie in a $35 set, let alone any of the ones from the sequel! I like the cube idea though. -

I think it’s namedropped by Aurra Sing in one single TCW episode, but yeah, the broader point still stands. “Slave I“ not being used for merch has no bearing on the canonicity of its name Jabba‘s Sailbarge technically has a name too, and yet almost nobody calls it the Khetanna. -

As for the minifig line-ups, I expect the following: Great Hall: Golden trio, Dumbledore, McGonagall, two random students, Hagrid, one or two other professors (hopefully Vector) Durmstrang ship & Beauxbatons carriage: Karkaroff, Krum, Madame Maxime, Fleur, Harry, maybe Crouch Sr.? Aragog: Harry & Ron Potions Class: Harry, Hermione, Draco, Snape Ollivander & Madame Malkin: Golden trio, Draco, Narcissa, Ollivander -
