  1. The potential of this set idea has drastically increased I wasn‘t exactly thrilled with this rumour (if it can even be classified as such as no established leakers have acknowledged it yet), but this changes things a bit! If this set is real and does come with Narcissa, I will welcome it with open arms!
  2. I didn't realise "uglies" were still a thing in canon, I thought they only made appearances in Legends While I highly doubt the X-wing vs TIE set's based on the Poe Dameron comics or the Tarkin novel, I'm still hopeful the "ugly" feature means it's not just a standard OT set
  3. I hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment, but now there are only three sets left from the survey leak that are still unaccounted for, the Deku Tree being one of them. Fingers crossed it's gonna get confirmed soon too!!
  4. With the Sailbarge reportedly also being confirmed, that leaves us with Donald, the Maleficent dragon, and the Deku Tree as the last three survey leak sets still unaccounted for At this point, it seems fair to assume all of them are gonna make it Granted, the Donald one is not all that special (especially compared to the excellent Simba model), but the Maleficent dragon is as set I've been looking forward ever since the leak happened last February. Can't wait to hear more!
  5. The Sailbarge, while having MBS potential, is still a UCS model at the end of the day. I’m expecting a similar selection as the Razor Crest had
  6. I wonder if the Jedi Bob set is actually called that, but I assume it is I mean it‘s a name the fans came up with, so it‘s just hilarious to see them acknowledging that It‘s essentially a meme set! Imagine being a SW fan who has no idea about the history of LSW and seeing that on shelves
  7. Do you have a source for that? Sounds realistic, but still
  8. Ohhhh! I don’t know what I expected this summer, but certainly not this Whoever had these ideas deserves a raise! I‘ve never before had this much fun just looking at a set list Well played.
  9. This is BY FAR the most out-there wave of sets ever cooked up, and I‘m all for it! THIS is how you make an anniversary memorable My only complaint (besides the X-Wing/TIE set) is the lack of Acolyte sets. Maybe next year?
  10. OMG AHAHAHAHAHA The absolute madlads did it, they not only brought Jedi Bob back but got him his own sick ride!! I love this wave
  11. I sincerely hope the X-Wing/TIE set is not based on the OT again, but how likely is that Maybe the astromech will be new at least!
  12. There‘s more! 75398 Buildable C-3PO, $149.99, 1132 pcs, reused C-3PO minifig 75396 Escape from the Sarlacc, $89.99, 558 pieces with Han, Chewie, Lando, Boba, Luke, and a weequay 75393 X-Wing/TIE fighter 2in1, $109.99, Rebel plot, TIE pilot, astromech and more (BOOOOO) The Ahsoka set is 75385 Battle on Peridea with 382 pcs (price around $40-50)
  13. I’m cackling like a madman I wonder if that Rey minifig is an anniversary one or actually meant to be part of the set. The set is so strange, it could go either way And here I thought the Ahsoka set would be the craziest news today!
  14. …it‘s not April 1st, is it? WHAT ON BLOODY EARTH IS THIS If this is true, this might the absolute most insane set they’ve ever released for any theme GIMME
  15. …this sounds WAY too good to be true, but they‘re both trustworthy leakers! If this is true, 2024 is already a big step closer to beating 2023 as my favourite LEGO year, and that‘s saying something!
  16. Personally, I loved the Hobbit sets and was so impressed they went all out for the minifigs and creatures especially! Smaug is still my favourite LEGO creature ever released. Looking back, it’s crazy we finally get more sets again, even if it’s “just” Icons sets and Brickheadz. Never would’ve expected that!
  17. Maybe, but my point was why would they already start inquiring about prices two years ahead of a set’s intended release? Also, if we look at the release dates of the confirmed sets from the survey leak, it’s quite apparent we still have enough space in this year’s release schedule to fit the remaining four: Sorting Hat: March Medieval Town Square: March Snow White Cottage: March Gotham City Skyline: April Barad-dûr: June Simba: Summer The Burrow: Autumn X-Mansion: unknown The Sailbarge could easily be released in October or November, and there’s also plenty of space left for Donald, the Maleficent dragon, and the Deku Tree Especially when you consider that three of the confirmed survey leak sets get released in March
  18. Wasn’t that the initial minifig list for the skyline set? I doubt they decided to spread them across all the sets instead That’d be low, even for the DC theme.
  19. Lucasfilm aren’t catering specifically to you though For instance, I don’t care one iota about Andor and I’d never say that the existence of a second season is a disappointment, because I know plenty of people are looking forward to that “Why is [company] making [product I personally dislike]? They should make [product I personally like]!” isn’t that great of an argument, no matter whether we’re talking about movies, shows, or LEGO sets
  20. It‘s not unreasonable to assume that all of the survey leak sets are coming this year. First off, the survey was about the sets‘ prices, not whether participants were interested in general, so any of getting cancelled would be kinda weird. Secondly, since more than half of them have already been confirmed for this year, it’d be strange if some of the others were intended for 2025. Why would they be interested in gauging prices two years in advance? Sure, it can’t be ruled out that some of the remaining ones aren’t coming this year, but personally I believe they all make it. After all, all of the ones confirmed so far are coming out between March and June, leaving enough room for more sets in 2HY.
  21. Since Indy and Avatar are both dead, I now have quite a lot of unused space that was intended for them, perfect for this theme I haven’t seen the third movie and don’t really care about the fourth one either, but the first two I liked quite a bit, so I hope the sets feature lots of locations, vehicles, and characters that also appeared there
  22. Savour it, as this won‘t last long As funny as the Batsy and Jonkler jokes are, which villains do you think can we realistically expect in these sets (besides the Jonkler and Harley)? My best guess would be Two-Face, Riddler, Freeze, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Penguin. Phantasm seems to no longer be part of the skyline set, so maybe she was moved to one of the smaller sets?
  23. Not sure. The difference is that with the chocolate frog cards, you couldn’t do much with them in most sets, so providing a GWP with a way to display them all made sense. Here, they already provide display space for the portraits in the builds! Then again, some sets seem to include more than can be placed on the walls, so a GWP set may still make sense. I wouldn’t expect enough space for all of them though, maybe just enough to fit all the spares, assuming you buy one copy of each set
  24. At least all of them got much better coverage right out of the gate compared to the PT back in the day, for instance Even side characters and minor ships were realised! Of course there are still substantial gaps, but I’m satisfied with what we got That said, I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for the anniversary figures to fill some of these gaps!
  25. I don‘t follow the logic. The 2012 sets came out half a year before the first Hobbit film and sets did. And the Hobbit movies definitely resparked general interest in LOTR. Also, why should the Hobbit sets negatively impact the LOTR ones? I doubt anyone was like „yeah, this Helm‘s Deep set looks great! That Gollum cave set looks mediorce though. Eh, not getting any, then“
