What an awesome detail!! Of course they’re not really usable, but that’s such a cool inclusion! The attention to detail in this theme is still unparalleled! Also, I really appreciate you can actually place the portraits in the sets themselves, unlike the chocolate frog cards that required a GWP set to display them all I wonder how many of them there are this time!

I‘m surprised by how much I like this wave despite there being no new characters On paper, it sounded like the most boring one so far, but surprisingly it‘s not! However, I do wish we can scratch some names off the list in the summer wave

The highlights are definitely the dark red owl, the smowl in light bluish gred, Norbert(a), and Fang Too bad the only new thing about the creatures in the Forbidden Forest set is just a few minor prints. How about a niffler family or something?!

Hilarious that the March wave gets revealed before the January wave does Nothing too special, but I do like the new Electro and Zola minifigs!

So far, the three Mando sets, the Skeleton Crew ship, the Y-Wing microfighter, and the anniversary figs. The Crimson Firehawk surely has cool minifigs, but I don’t expect much from the build The rest sound too mundane for my liking

No, my point was just because they haven’t been used in a while doesn’t mean that maxifigs are done for They’re brickbuilt and don’t require any special pieces, so there’s nothing to prevent them from coming back, if they’re required. Wouldn’t be surprised if an upcoming Infinity Saga set included a Giant-man maxifig

Well, neither Arishem nor Molten Man would have made sense as maxifigs. Arishem is way larger than that and doesn’t have human limb proportions, so a maxifig would’ve looked pretty silly. Same goes for Molten Man

1) The set‘s supposed to be a constraction figure though, not a minifig-compatible set. A maxifig only would‘ve worked if there was some other stuff included (which I think we all would‘ve preferred, but I digress). 2) Well yes, but it goes to show that this style of figure still hasn‘t gone the way of the dodo They could very easily bring it back for Marvel too. The constraction-style figures are a separate thing, not a replacement. 3) Really? 1) I can‘t think of a Marvel character that absolutely would‘ve needed a „maxifig“ in the last seven years. 2) As has been pointed out, “maxifigs“ still exist in other themes. 3) Didn‘t you say the exact same thing about bigfigs? And now we got two this year

True! Kinda crazy we haven‘t seen a remake amidst all the Infinity Saga sets Fingers crossed he‘s included in that alleged Quicksilver set! Still kinda hard to believe there‘s a completely unknown AuO set coming. Unless it‘s actually a 2HY set! Early part leaks like that are rare, but they‘ve happened before

There‘s no way Superman Legacy won‘t get sets Supes is still a big draw, and the movie marks the start of a fresh universe, so there‘s no reason for TLG not to get involved! If the same can be said for future DCU projects is of course unclear. Legacy at the very least should be a safe bet tho.

Indeed! The only thing that doesn‘t really fit in is the Azure Angel from the 2003 Clone Wars show. Then again, this is technicallly the only appropriate set here since CW turned 20, not TCW

They have to be new since the old prints are well, too old The Rivendell set didn’t repurpose a single one from the 2012-13 sets

Yes, they‘re both rumoured to be included in the set! Pretty much the only things I’m looking forward to in the entire wave, unless they have some interesting variants up their sleeves. Doubt it

Yeah, I’m not a “popular thing bad” type of person, but this is the first LEGO license I actively dislike The sets could - if they end up happening - have interesting parts, but this news sparks no joy
