  1. Great work, much better looking than the new set!
  2. Your Snowspeeders are great, very nice job with all of them! I personally like 6 the best, despite the lack of colour stripe the ‘wings’ look better for being solid all the way to the back, and those pieces come in orange. Those pieces along with the slopes give the rear such a satisfying shape, the greebling at the back looks very nice and your connection method for the lasers all the way through to the rear is very smart.
  3. Beautiful work again! The dioramas are excellent and the photography is very impressive, so consistently lit and composed. I really can’t wait to see the battle now!
  4. Great mods Freddie! The interior is very impressive, like Stifos said squeezing that into the model is a real achievement. I also really like how you’ve added shape to the underside, it’s a shame it was so boring on the original model so it’s great to see some effort put into it. Excellent work ?
  5. That’s really smart, I like how you’ve arranged the cockpit piece and built into the cylinders at the wing roots. Nice job!
  6. @obijon I’m sorry to disappoint ? I’m stubbornly sticking with the same scale, there’s not I could tackle a ship that size, the prospect of doing a 60cm long Tantive IV is scary enough! I like the idea of the micro Coruscant chase through the industrial area, you should definitely tackle that! I might try the speeders, if they go well enough I’ll attempt the scene too. Talking of your stuff though, are you currently doing much aside from your minis?
  7. This is great! I love the overall shaping, as good as all the smooth MOCs can be it’s always great to see a traditionally blocky design like this that’s been done well. You’ve managed to get the ‘arms’ nice and thin but with all the support shaping and the back of the ball is spot on. Very nice, can’t wait to see the interceptor :)
  8. Since this seems to be the year of the clones I thought it was time to jump down my to-do list to some prequel ships, so here are my micro Republic Gunship, Naboo N1 and Vulture Droid! As before I’ve put instructions up on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs/ This little Gunship has been in the works for a long time, the front end has given me so much trouble that I’ve been avoiding tackling it. I’m fairly happy with it now, the overall shape seems to work and despite a few one-stud connections the wings are strong enough. I’ve had these Naboo N1 and Vulture Droid Starfighters finished for some time, just a couple of pieces that didn’t exist held held me back! Last year I settled on a couple of 1x2 curved slopes with notches on the sides of the N1, in yellow, and thanks to the Speed Champions Audi Quattro they’re now real! Not the cheapest but hopefully more end up on BrickLink to bring the cost down. The Vulture Droid was nice and simple, I’ve also done a version in blues and greys which I’ll combine with some Seperatist Starfighters in the near future. I’m also nearly finished with some Republic Starfighters, just a few kinks left to work out.
  9. @princess_kyloren Nice mods, I like the greebling around the rim and it’s good to see your ‘dish’ extended outward by one stud, that’s made a big difference and I’ll definitely be trying that myself ??
  10. Incredible detail on the interior and exterior, great work well done! The rooms are very pleasing to look at, individually theyre so rich in detail it’s hard to take it all in, and the engineering between the rooms is the icing on the cake. I love the exterior and the way it opens, it’s very clever and neatly done, but the engine part on the split-wing part looks a bit small? Great moc, very impressive :)
  11. @Thatguymax I wouldn’t worry about being behind, it won’t take long to catch up and then run out of money and storage space! Your mod looks really good, I like your laser roots and the daggers sound interesting, I’d be keen to see what they look like when your order arrives. And the targeting computer is excellent, what a great idea! I’ll have to try that next :) I should’ve posted instructions to these mods too, they’ve been sitting on Rebrickable a while, I hope they help the next person who gives this a go... https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-36569/ron_mcphatty/red-5-x-wing-t-65-set-75218-mod
  12. This is a real triumph! Each scene was so well done, you’ve put together some clever little mocs and taken some beautifully arranged photos. Great job and thanks for doing this :)
  13. Really nice job, as usual! The greebling and tiles makes it appear so much larger than it actually is, very smart.

  15. A long, long time ago I started working on a micro scale Millennium Falcon. To begin with all I wanted to do was add detail to the Microfighter but I kept tinkering and before I knew it I had a growing collection of micro Star Wars freighters and fighters, and here they are! Instructions for all these little builds are on my Rebrickable page. Since this all started with that Falcon Microfighter the cockpit piece (a light blueish-grey 2x2 truncated cone) became my yardstick for scale. Luckily trans-black 1x1 slope pieces work as fighter cockpits at the same scale so all the ships are, and will continue to be, as close to scale with each other as I can manage, at least based on these pieces and whatever reference images I can gather from Google. My Blockade Runner (April 2021) is the last ship on my micro Star Wars to-do list, although it’s hardly micro! The size and weight were a new challenge for me, I’ve never had to worry about a moc falling apart under its own weight before, but I enjoyed the challenge and managed to make it pretty easy to pick strong. I’ve put together instructions for the Tantive IV as well as the Liberator from Star Wars Rebels, which I couldn’t resist building for myself. Rather than doing new posts for each new ship I’ll edit the very long post below. All the instructions are on my Rebrickable page and there are photos and Studio renders some photos of the ships in this post, plus a few more on Flickr and Instagram. Thanks for looking!
