  1. Yes, they are black (to hide their backside pins) with olive-printed outside. I see the following prints here: These mudguards (black, with olive prints) Windscreen (olive print) "nose" ("Lamborghini bull" print) And the following stickers: New 1x4 curved slopes (azure+black stripes) new 1x2 facet tiles (olive sticker) << the base part is azure (I would love to see it in not plan azure but in half-opaque) old-good 1x2 wedge-slopes (olive sticker) 2x2 golden round tiles with rim pattern, like while Countach had + a lot of other small slopes and tiles
  2. I see that the helmet under this windscreen is very inclined on your image, so the minifig more lies than seats here, and the "seat" should be under the 2x4 wedge plate.
  3. Yeah, the designers are raising the bar higher and higher. Well, now we have a new amazing example that there is no limit even for such complicated shapes. I like how it takes advantage of newly released slopes.
  4. Yeah, I found this fact later than finished the hood. The 2x1 cut tiles are seems to be used to shape the rear edge of the hood, to follow the windshield curve.
  5. If I'm not mistaken, the hood should be openable this time. Or, at least easy to modify to make it openable. Update: I think I see a new part - 1x1 slope, not the inclined "cheese" but its curved version. It seems to be presented on the front bumper (under black "air intake" stickers) and where the bonnet rear end passes to curved sides (these entries seems to have stickers too - black stripes).
  6. Roadster looks nice, but Gwagen.. Well it should be "quardarish-practish-gut" but this apperance, I expected something better. It looks more like a MOC, with these shapes made of inclined tiles.
  7. I would add that there were some rumors (not proved yet) that +2 sets will be in August, and they will be an 8-wide resize of the Ferrari F40 (a sports car, parts count similar to Mercedes AMG ONE) and NASCAR Camaro (ponycar, parts count similar to Mustang/Challenger/Charger). I'm not sure about NASCAR, but Mustang and F40 are "must have" yet for me.
  8. Nice to know it, thank you! I was afraid it would be a step-down if we got the wheels with the nice look but no grip.
  9. I'm sure the question is not fully relevant here, for Speed Champions, but still, I will ask... Are the new "slick" tires more "plastic" or "rubbish" in comparison with convenient SC tires, and have they better or worse grip? My thoughts were that they could be all-plastic when I saw them for the first time, and now I see they are dual-molded, with rubber tires glued on.
  10. Yeah, they are inside of the model, where the engine should be. They really provide the full L+R set of new slopes.
  11. Yes, this set also took my attention from the 1st minutes when I heard about it, and then when saw the preliminary images: F1 McLaren was "heh, one more F1 car, new colors and new slopes may be...", and I was nicely surprised. BMW was like "Well, its a nice puzzle how they made the grill" and Mustang had a really wow effect: "How do they sculpt it ALL?". Grill, headlights, taillights, exhaust - all were on the edge between "impossible" and "still, somehow they managed to make it". I fully and positively admire the designer who made it, who had such a crazy mind to dare such techniques
  12. I think, the logic was to keep the windhsield "symmetrical" and allow the builders to decide if they wasnted or not to add the stickers. Did you notice the "accidential" inclusions of remainng pairs of new wedge tiles and slopes? In total, BMW set should have more or less symmetrical parts (all have their left-right pairs of the same color).
  13. Thank you, my question is fully answered now 1) these new wheels doesn't improve the overall look as best as I wanted, but still are aweersome. 2) they provide a lot of opportunities for printed 2*2 dishes now. Whait, what? A "fat tire cover" attached to the "fat tire wheel"? @kbalage, I like your sence of humour)))
  14. I mean printed ones, with "spokes" on thrm, like were used for classic Corvette and Challenger '70. They had nice covers but the wheels themself had too low tires, and that ruined their look. I wonder if these new wheels may correct it
  15. @kbalage, thank you for this review! May I ask you for a little time in coming BMW review (I bet it will be longer due to two cars in the set) to show how these new amazing wheels compatible with wheel covers (pre-molded spoked covers and printed tiles and dishes) from other SC sets? I beleive they will fit better than original wheels to Corvette and Challenger, for example...
  16. 2024 LEGO SPEED CHAMPIONS MUSTANG DARK HORSE | #76920 (youtube.com) Mustang is here. I checked the build steps, and have to admit that I was correct in ~86% of my proposals for this model (see below). It was a nice surprise to know that TLG really used new 2x6 brackets for "doors", angled bar+plates for headlights (my proposal was for yellow, but TLG used transparent ones), and bar-and-clip for the hood assembly mount. Here is the comparison of my reverse-engineered model (right side) and the official set made by TLG (left side):
  17. (6) 2024 LEGO SPEED CHAMPIONS BMW SET | #76922 - YouTube << BMW is here too. BTW, @Snowman184, your guess with new 2x6 brackets is true, it really has two 1x1 plates as "mount points"!
  18. Yes, they are compatible but TLG, for some reason, never used them together. Maybe some minor offsets still allow the parts to be connected but big enough to have this connection illegal...
  19. I made these new parts using only existing parts and some cuts and merges in Studio's Part Designer, and once the numbers become known, I will be happy to know them too!
  20. Usually they are mold and design numbers that are embossed on the parts (inside) and in the BOM in the building instructions, so we should wait for them.
  21. I guess, on the 1st of March, as was announsed
  22. It would be strange, considering how many new parts we had in 2023 and are going to have in 2024. These new wheels (SC "slicks") have only one feasible reason to be made - for the Speed Champions series. All other series can easily use any other kinds of wheels or tries, having no effort. And Speed Champions was the only one that had the strictest limitations for size, scale, and authenticity.
  23. Whoa, @Bartlomiej, it seems that these new "slick tires" are really able to fit 2x2 dishes and tiles!
  24. To summarize, now we have the following: 1st wave, the 1st of March 2024: 76919 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car (245 pieces) 26.99EU 76920 Ford Mustang Dark Horse (344 pieces) 26.99EU 76921 Audi S1 Etron Quattro (274 pieces) 26.99EU 76922 BMW M Hybrid V8 + M4 GT3 (676 pieces) 26.99EU (2 cars) 2nd wave, the 1st of June 2024: 76923 Lamborghini V12 Vision GT (230 pieces) 26.99EU 76924 Mercedes AMG GT Roadster 2024 & AMG G63 (808 pieces) 44.99EU (2 cars) 76925 Aston Martin Safety Car & AMR23 (564 pieces) 44.99EU (2 cars) 3rd wave, the 1st of August 2024: 76934 Ferrari F40 Supercar (318 pieces) 26.99EU 76935 NASCAR Nexr Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (328 pieces) 26.99EU Personally, I have doubts about the 3rd wave, since they are 8-studs redesign of existing 6-studs sets... They may look great (I would love to see F40), but the source was the only one that is talking about the 3rd wave. And the numbering looks strange, with such a huge gap between 2nd and 3rd waves...
  25. Me too, it looks too huge for a Car + CUV pair. It definitely should have something like a start-finish frame or any decorations. Or, to have a "bigger than usual" SUV, like this T-REX one... Or... Wait... May it be a pair of cars but 3 models? That would be great to have a sportscar, and a powerful SUV to tow some trailer, which will carry the sportscar. P.S. Just my guess based on some logical proposals, neither a rumor nor a leak.
