  1. I thought this was going to come out in February 2015, but nothing ever came of it. A quick Googling reveals nothing is still all that's come of it...
  2. Looks great! I have to admit I have no idea who Mantis is (but come on, this is one of their most obscure comics EVER... I highly doubt that anyone in the theater when I go see this will have any idea who she is, prior to the film, at all) but she looks really cool. Also, I don't notice Nebula looking any different... she hacked off her robotic right hand, I expected at least a different one.
  3. I don't think it's going to work, but what the hell, I loved Agents. Any spy-related thing would do... Ultra Agents was mostly good, but it wasn't at all the original Agents. Except the truck--that was a clear homage. And the Blade Runner car and ship, those were FABULOUS. Everything else, though, was pretty meh in my opinion, and I think LEGO ought to give it another go.
  4. Contrary to what the text says, Chris and Martin are not identical--they have different faces, and slightly different torso prints. (one has red details on it, the other orange) I'm surprised you didn't point that out, Aanchir.
  5. Well, either the Scarecrow's mini chopper of awesome is a $11.99 set... or, it's the villain vehicle for a larger Batcopter or Batwing set. Or something completely different, like a $39.99 set with a police airship and that heli. I would personally love a police airship... it would probably use the balloon pieces, but I would buy it anyhow, because B:TAS for the win!
  6. Oh, OK. Funny how standards of building have changed, and blatantly illegal techniques can be put into AFOL-oriented sets... like that desk in the Firehouse HQ...
  7. Found a bug with the 1x4 lattice fence piece... functionally, it's identical to a 1x4 panel. The holes in it aren't even programmed. I haven't been able to put anything through it. Discovered this with Tiger Widow Island, and again with Big Ben and the Lighthouse Siege. This piece has been used for sideways building a number of times in official sets, so what's up?
  8. Watched the review first thing this morning. I think it's a good set, but I probably won't buy it... it's $280, I think, and for $20 more one could buy the Volvo and the Claas. And I'm not all that thrilled by this... can't wait for the reviews of those sets!
  9. Meh. The characters look OK, but again, those grey joints look god-awful. Also, it's too expensive.
  10. I read in the local news this morning that some lady found a dead body whilst trying to catch a water Pokémon.
  11. It presently has a 77% on Rotten Tomatoes. That's good. And considering how every single review seems to be saying "It's a lot better than the trailers made it out to be," I think I'm going to go see it!
  12. I dunno why Bricklink doesn't have an inventory for him. But, on Brickset, Echo Zane's parts aren't listed (except for his hair), so when I was building 70594 in LDD today, I couldn't figure out what color he is. Anybody know? I used medium nougat in lieu of a) knowledge of what color he is and b) if it's a new color or a preexisting one. But Nadakhan? Like I said, I don't know. You might try searching for just the hook,.
  13. I couldn't get to my LDD Gallery page for a while this morning... matter of fact, I still can't. Hope that's not a problem when I upload 70594 later today...
  14. I don't like this "Nexo Knights isn't Castle, so everything else is crap" or "There's no Castle/Pirates, so everything else is crap" sort of negative generalizations. There are plenty of terrific sets this year, and a few themes with very few bad sets at all (Marvel, Elves, Creator, Ninjago, Technic).
  15. Good move LEGO, making the most controversial Marvel thing since Lady Thor. They've finally succeeded in making a con exclusive I don't want.
  16. Star Wars: Dark Disciple. It's based off of an unproduced series of Clone Wars scripts... the amount of extra text telling us who the characters are really shows that. Interesting story, though, even if the writing isn't great.
  17. The Muppets (2011). It was really good, but focused too much on the new (well, relatively speaking) characters at times.
  18. Strange... the other two sets aren't listed either. Anyone know why this is? LEGO, I want my CLAAS already!!
  19. @merman: Can you post a picture of the inventory itself? It might clear up this thread of "How many of this? How many of that?" etc.
  20. I'm presently building the new Ninjago sets. I also did City, if someone would upload that here for me it would be fantastic. (those models are on the LEGO.com LDD Gallery tagged "officialsets" if you're curious)
  21. I agree... those blue lightsabers are great, but not Ashoka's. The head-tails don't bother me though... otherwise her outfit is as generic and inaccurate as Sabine's. This is ridiculous, and why I still don't have any Rebels sets: The characters look wrong! Until one of the actual builds looks good enough to persuade me, I will not buy something solely because it has wholly and inexcusably wrong minifigures!
  22. So are we now up to 4 4000+ piece sets for 2016?! This is awesome!
  23. I see your reasoning... merch based off of a pre-existing story will sell, but based on something completely different that hasn't come out yet (how many 8-year-olds in Target have seen the original, I wonder...) won't sell until the target audience has a frame of reference for it. Hmm...
  24. Regret what? Wait, do you know what the Death Star looks like?!
  25. WOW. That's really very impressive. There aren't pictures for the Death Star, but I would honestly buy that over this... I'm not that into this sort of thing. Can't deny the incredible build, though...
